"Katherine, did you check if the rules for the selections changed from the last time we took part in it?" Anna asked curiously as she got bored of sitting in silence.
"They did change them not long ago. It was written in the message you also received. Didn't you read it?" Katherine asked after rolling her eyes, knowing that Anna slacked on her duties once again.
"Uhmm… No? Can you just summarize it for me? Please~" Anna shook her head cutely and quickly caught Katherine's arm, hugging it while pleading happily. They were sitting right next to each other which allowed Anna to easily attack her.
"Sigh… There are not too many details inside as those will be explained to us on the spot. Everything is a secret for now. I only know that the selection won't take part in the Headquarters grounds and instead they created a special camp for us. I already asked and the staff will have all the necessities provided. I guess it's more like a hidden base instead of camping in some forest." Katherine explained after exhaling deeply.
"Oh, I do hope there is hot water in there then else I'm resigning right away. My skin would be ruined without my daily, hot bath." Anna commented as she rubbed her perfectly smooth skin on the arm.
"It shouldn't happen. We will know everything beforehand. They wouldn't dare to lie to me." Katherine assured her before receiving a tight hug.
"I am so glad I have you as a friend. Let me give you a kiss. Hehe." Anna whispered happily as she leaned over to give her best friend a peck on the cheek but naturally, Katherine was quicker and dodged it.
As Anna teased Katherine, Scarlet happened to overhear one particular word from them which was deeply connected to her current desires. They couldn't know it but Scarlet was having a romantic dream with Wuxing as her partner and only imagination limited her from doing what she wanted.
Scarlet happened to be one of those people who experienced lucid dreams quite often and today was one of those days. Although she didn't consciously hear the conversations in real life, some words still slipped into her mind, influencing her dreamy world.
Inside Scarlet's dream, the two were standing on a cliff, watching the sunset while embracing each other. Wuxing had his old appearance yet at that very moment, he suddenly grabbed her tightly and confessed the truth.
'Scarlet, I didn't tell you the whole truth. I'm actually Chameleon…' Wuxing admitted as he caressed her cheek.
'Really…?' She asked back in disbelieve and to confirm it, Wuxing took off his mask and the handsome face of Chameleon appeared right in front of her.
"I can no longer hide the truth from you…" Wuxing said softly as he let her brush the fingers through his white hair to confirm they were real.
"Thank you… Kiss me, please…" Scarlet whispered as she leaned over, letting Wuxing make the final step.
Unfortunately, in the outside world, she wasn't that understanding and patient as her body acted on instinct.
"Kiss me…" She whispered as her body began moving, grasping onto Wuxing's chest while brushing her fingers into his hair with a free hand.
Wuxing's eyes which he closed to rest a bit opened and he immediately noticed her flushed face. Anyone would think she was experiencing a naughty dream and Wuxing wasn't any different.
He thought she would soon stop and go back to sleeping yet that naturally didn't happen. Scarlet only intensified her assault on him.
"Kiss me…" She whispered again as her lips suddenly locked on his neck and kissed it passionately. Before Wuxing pushed her away, she managed to leave a red mark on his skin due to excessive sucking.
Unfortunately, Scarlet was persistent and tried to pull his head to continue her journey to claim her kiss. He had to block her lips with his fingers to stop her advances.
'Huh?' Just as he did so, he felt a slimy object trying to break through, wiggling in between of his fingers before experiencing a series of kisses as well. His eyes couldn't help but roll, not expecting such indecent behaviour from her. Even though she was sleeping, it was still changing his view of the innocent Scarlet.
Knowing Anna feelings, Wuxing didn't want to make it a big deal so he pretended that nothing happened and decided to sneakily take care of it. He wanted to hug her tightly so she wouldn't make any weird movements yet she acted before him.
Her hand that rubbed on his chest suddenly skimmed down onto his abs, heading straight towards his lower region. He didn't hesitate and swiftly reached out, stopping her hand from moving any further but that left her face unattended.
"Scarlet. Wake up." Wuxing called out, having no other choice but to wake her up. She was already leaning over to kiss his lips. Wuxing didn't want to wake her up yet Scarlet was just too much.
Both Anna and Katherine stopped talking as they glanced at Wuxing, wondering what happened.
"Mhmm…" Scarlet let out a small whimper as her movements halted. She slowly began returning from the dreamland, back into reality.
Without opening her eyes she hugged Wuxing, caressing his chest with her cheek, finding the place really comfortable before sitting up. She stretched her arms letting out another series of morning noises before returning back into Wuxing's arms.
"Give me five more minutes…I want to sleep some more…" Scarlet muttered as she cuddled once again, this time more conscious.
"Alright… Sleep but don't fall too deeply. We will be arriving soon." Wuxing agreed, not minding that as long as she was calm.
"Did something happen?" Anna asked to confirm, walking up to them and froze, seeing one big hickey on his neck. It was exposed as Scarlet was now gently laying on his chest instead of his shoulder.
"No, nothing. Scarlet was sitting in a bad position so I wanted to move her a bit." Wuxing replied as he patted Scarlet on the head.
"Oh, really? Nothing happened to Scarlet?" Anna asked curiously, not getting upset yet, giving him the chance to answer truthfully first.
Instead of replying to her question, Wuxing asked back, "Anna, how about we talk about something else during dinner, tonight? I owe you one according to Devil Face."
Anna wanted to pursue the hickey issue but when she heard him, she momentarily forgot about it and focused on his words.
"Of course! Tonight? Yes. Please. We are free anyway." She didn't hesitate and quickly agreed. She was already informed about it from Maya yet she didn't want to be the first to ask about it.
"Then it's a date. Now sit down. It's dangerous to stand while flying." Wuxing said with a smile.
"Oh, okay." Anna was too happy to realise his tricks and simply compiled, sitting back down on her seat with a happy arch on her face.
Katherine glanced at her, not expecting that she would fall for such a simple ploy but she didn't comment, allowing her to feel happy for a moment.

Wuxing breathed out a sigh of relief as he reverted his neck back to normal, realising only in the middle of a conversation with Anna what could be the case. Even he can sometimes forget about some details.

Standing on the runway of the Agos Airport, Dongmei glanced at the sky, wondering if she should wait a bit more. Her mother helped her contact the airport to check if there were any other private planes arriving that day and surprisingly, there were three, landing right after her own in the span on a single twenty minutes.
Already two planes landed but she didn't find her prince in them. Hoping to see his face even a day earlier, she decided to wait for the last plane but she couldn't help but feel it was useless. There was very little chance they planned to arrive on the same day and hour.
Unfortunately, the desire to meet him was much stronger.
Just then, she spotted the last plane in the distance, preparing to land and commented in her mind, 'Wuxing… Let it be you this time…'
