'I guess, it's time to sniff around a bit and find myself an escape route.' Wuxing thought with a smile after hearing the guard lock the doors on a few locks. He quickly wore the set of clothes they brought him, without wasting any time.

Earlier, he noticed that the guards actually gave him their own clothes as they looked similar to the ones they were wearing themselves. Military pants and white simple shirts. Of course, they also had a kevlar vest but he didn't receive one.

This situation made him quickly reschedule his reconnaissance mission to now. Even if his main plan works out later, he didn't know where he should head next. He had to first check out the whole prison to determine the quickest way to the dock, where were the cameras, the guard spots and any other obstacles that could hinder his escape.

Dongmei made a mistake when she left one of her guards to protect him as that only allowed him to pretend to be him and sneak away. Looking at the mirror, he wished in his mind to change completely into the guard outside and his skin started shifting right away.

His muscles multiplied making him bulkier, his skin colour darkened and his facial arrangement completely changed making him look just like the guard. Even his hair shortened and turned its colour into brown. The whole process didn't hurt at all as if the pain receptors didn't react to his quickly changing body.

'Not bad.' Wuxing commented in his mind, moving around in his new body. It definitely felt different than his own and he would have to train sometime with it to adjust all his skills. Fortunately, he didn't plan to fight anyone right now.

Wuxing also noticed that both of his wounds were now healed and he couldn't help but sigh. He wanted to stall the healing for a few days but a the same time, he couldn't give up such occasion that they presented him.

"Ugh, cough, cough." Just as he finished checking his body, he felt pain all across his body, making him cough and collapse on the ground. His muscles started to tremble and his skin turned hot with beads of sweat appearing on his forehead.

"Fuck, it hurt…" Wuxing cursed when the pain finally ceased. After the pain died away other problems appeared right after. He felt extreme hunger that made his brain go crazy.

He struggled but walked up towards the fridge and started pulling out the food one by one eating everything greedily. There were different hams and sausages which Wuxing swallowed one by one with big bites.

As Wuxing ate, he realised that his hunger didn't go away and he still felt as if he didn't eat for ages. Pulling out ready-made dishes which were packed and prepared for Dongmei for each day, Wuxing ate all of them. His hunger was satisfied only after he finished the whole week worth of food which Dongmei consumed.

'Damn, I should have guessed. Such a transformation couldn't just happen without any costs. I guess each change require some energy and it comes from my body. Because of my wounds earlier I lost a lot of energy, which forced my body to consume a lot of food to compensate for it.' Wuxing thought as he drank some water from the tap.

Hopefully, he learnt about it when he was in a save position within close proximity to food, else his situation would be dire.

'I have to be careful next time…' Wuxing noted this incident in his mind and entered the balcony to breathe a few fresh mouthfuls of air.

After a few minutes, Wuxing felt much better and realising he was completely alright now, he finally moved forward with his plan. The balcony was on the last floor of the hospital which made it impossible to jump down, but he could always climb onto the roof and use the emergency stairs to leave the hospital.

There was also an option to drop down from window to window until he reaches the ground but he ran the risk of someone discovering. It was always better safe than sorry later. The glass balcony wasn't enclosed with anything, so it was easy for him to climb up. He only had to avoid Dongmei sight and he should be safe to walk around the whole prison without any problems.

The doors on the roof which led to the stairs were locked with a modern padlock but that didn't stop him. With the salt from the ocean in the air, all the locks outside which were exposed to such breeze had a high chance of corrosion which happened to be the case in this situation.

He decided to put his new invention to good use by putting a finger in between the lock and started surrounding it with bone cells making it bigger and bigger. It didn't take long for it to finally pop, breaking in one place which allowed him to take it off.

No one was using the emergency stairs as there were elevators installed, which allowed Wuxing to sneakily walk down to the base floor. The only challenge now was to leave the building without anyone suspecting a thing.

Wuxing opened the doors and only when he didn't hear any footsteps did he leave, walking out normally. Fortunately, on the base floor, there was only a receptionist by the desk and no one else.

"Good afternoon." A middle-aged woman called out with a smile, to which Wuxing only nodded before leaving through the main doors. The lady found that out of ordinary as she was rarely greeted by Miss Guan men, but it didn't raise in her any suspicions. Everyone sometimes had a good mood and maybe the guard had such day.

Recalling the route he took when he was led to the mine in the morning, Wuxing walked casually with his hands in the pockets, heading towards the prison buildings. Every guard he met on his way would greet him politely, but he would just reply with a nod which they were already satisfied with.

'Gosh, too many cameras. I will have to destroy the surveillance systems memory cards, else they might realise how I escaped after they investigate. Sigh, so troublesome.' Wuxing thought, noticing how many cameras there were on his way towards the Prison Gate. When he was brought here, his head was covered with a bag which prevented him from analyzing the situation.

After walking around aimlessly, Wuxing finally found the Staff Building where all the high standing wardens and guards had offices. Noticing that one had to have an electric card to enter, Wuxing asked the young guard on the other side of the metal bar doors, "Can you let me in? I forgot the card."

The young guard strengthened his back, noticing who he was talking to and said weakly, "Sir, I'm sorry but this is against a rules."

"Cut the crap and open the doors. I don't have time to go back for my card. I am on a mission from Miss Guan. Do you want me to bring Miss here, so she can tell you yourself?" Wuxing glared at the young guard and threatened right away without wasting time which made the young guard's body tremble.

"Y-yes… Please don't call Miss Guan…" The guard opened the doors hearing the name Miss Guan and pleaded with fear in his eyes.

'Wow, she really has a good reputation here.' Wuxing thought in surprise and entered after patting the young guard's shoulder.
