"Sir Guan, I got what you asked for. This file contains everything about Li Wuxing." It hasn't been a whole hour before the Shadow came back with a briefcase full of different papers. One would think that everything would be stored online nowadays but the real secrets were always stored on the traditional paper.

Guan Dong was just getting ready to leave for work after fooling around with his wife for some time, so there couldn't be a better time for Shadow to come. He wanted to have his wife around so they could make the decision together.

With the Shadow leaving as quickly as he came, the relaxed milady took the briefcase from her husband hands and jumped back onto the bed, deciding to be in charge. Guan Dong could only join her without complaints and they both looked at the data curiously.

"He is younger than her but I don't mind. You are also younger than me so that shouldn't be a problem… Oh, he is an orphan. Poor boy, It would be kind from our side if we could make him feel like the home that he never had… Wow, his results in his career are astonishing. Look, he got into an Officer rank this fast, almost reaching Capitan rank while still being only twenty-two. I think the kid is talented." Dongmei's mother read out loud for her husband, underlining the main points of Wuxing's life, not finding anything that could ruin her opinion about him.

"Yeah, he doesn't seem to be that bad, but, I think you missed something. He is currently in prison for murder. No matter how talented he is, do you think other families won't investigate him the moment they hear about that? The first thing they will do is expose his past so that our family takes a hit. Even if the kid is innocent, they will still manipulate the media and try to defame us." Guan Dong agreed with her but still pointed at the last part on his report where his recent information was displayed.

His wife double checked the information and she could tell that everything there looked very fake but there was nothing they could do. If someone wanted to use this information just as her husband said, they would have a hard time trying to defend themselves.

She put the briefcase away and asked helplessly, "Then what are we going to do? For me as long as my baby is happy, nothing else matters. What if she is so in love with him that she won't even listen to us? You know that she can be really stubborn the moment she sets her mind on something."

"I know Mei… That's why I think we have to act as soon as possible. I doubt she is so in love with him after just one day from meeting him. If we play that right I think we can still separate them. If we let our daughter be with this Wuxing, it will only bring us troubles." Guan Dong called her wife's name sweetly, trying to convince her and it seemed to work well as he could see her thinking it over.

Trying to strike while the iron was hot, he added while hugging her wife, "Don't worry, if she really loves him I won't stop her. I can somehow take care of the backlash from that if I really have to. We can call her first when she comes back and asked her what she wants. We can advise her to stop fooling around with him, but we won't force her. What do you think?"

"Alright, but I want to be there when you call her. I won't forgive you if you make our daughter hate us because of that," Guan Mei finally agreed but gave her husband a warning glare to be careful.

"Actually, I can reschedule my meetings and I won't go to work today. Dongmei is our precious daughter so we need to settle it properly with her. What do you think about it?" Guan Dong proposed, knowing it would be best to stay with his wife before they resolve the problem. Just as she was worried that he will make her daughter angry, he was also worried that his wife will call her and allow everything.

"Mhmm, you are the best. I think that will be for the best." Guan Mei nodded, happy that he didn't neglect this issue.

After his wife entered the bathroom to shower, Guan Dong suddenly stood up from the bed and left the bedroom, closing the doors after him. Seeing his personal guard called Shadow, he pulled him up by the shoulder and entered the balcony for maximum safety as he couldn't allow her wife to hear his next words.

"I want you to get to the prison my daughter is staying at and wait for my call. If the situation turns pretty bad and my daughter is still stubborn about being with some random guy, I want you to kill the guy before bringing her back to me. Get there and wait for my call. I will inform the Warden there to give you a cover for the time being." Guan Dong quickly explained his plan before asking to confirm, "Any questions?"

"No, Sir." The Shadow only shook his head, ready to do anything his Boss asks him to.

"Alright, go." Guan Dong nodded, happy that he had such loyal subordinate and returned to his bedroom a moment later. Sitting at the edge of the bed, one of the most powerful men in the globe called out in his mind, 'I'm sorry, baby girl. Even if you hate me later, I can't allow you to ruin your life like that. I'm only doing it because I love you…'

...….

"What did you find?" Wuxing asked curiously as he swam towards her. He didn't expect to hear any wonders from her but then he heard her explain excitedly as she reached him midway, "I found an underwater cave! There is a lot of fishes there!"

Wanting to go back, she called out, "Follow me!" before diving back underwater after taking a deep breath in. Wuxing could only follow after her and see for himself what made her so excited.

Wuxing could hold his breath for more than two minutes so he didn't have to worry that he would run out of the oxygen. They swiftly swam ten meters downwards inside a funnel-shaped tunnel where the darkness started filling his surroundings but then he saw Dongmei changing her direction and suddenly swim towards the small side tunnel.

He almost wanted to curse her for even trying to enter into one of such unknown tunnels. There were many things that could go wrong and kill her in a small space like that, for example, the tunnel's ceiling falling on her head or a poisonous fish living there.

What Wuxing found even worse was the tunnel length which was stretching for almost twenty metres already and he didn't see the ending of it. He stuck closely behind Dongmei in case he would have to save her and thought of scolding her for doing something so dangerous without preparation crossed his mind.

The tunnel was filled with many small shiny crystals that sticked out from the ceiling which illuminated their pathway. This was the only thing that satisfied him after all of this happening.

Fortunately, Dongmei suddenly stopped as there happened to be a small cavern with air in the middle of the tunnel which was able to fit two standing people inside. The moment he emerged from the water, he quickly caught Dongmei into his arms and scolded, "Dongmei! What do you think you are doing? Do you want to die? Such places are really dangerous."

Dongmei rolled her eyes at him and asked with a questioning gaze, "I wonder who told me to be adventurous not long ago? Aren't we going on an adventure right now? Don't worry, I already tested the walls and they are pretty solid. Also, my fishy swam here so I had to follow her."

"Yeah, adventurous but don't behave like a dummy..." Wuxing still wasn't satisfied with her answer and kissed her, asking with worry in his eyes, "Next time tell me before you enter into an unknown tunnel in the middle of a jungle, okay?"

"Mhmm, I promise. Now follow me, there is a cave on the other side which you should like very much," Dongmei agreed with a gentle nod and pulled him to continue their diving, but Wuxing didn't move, asking more details which could help him analyze the situation, "How long is this tunnel?" He knew they should have enough oxygen in this cavern for such small talk.

"It's not long, just the same distance as the first part. Come with me, you really need to see this." Dongmei quickly explained, before taking a deep breath and dived back without Wuxing's permission. Wuxing could only follow after her already very curious with all her hyping it.

Just as Dongmei said, the tunnel ended after the same distance they took at the start and they could finally emerge inside the cave that Dongmei was talking so much about.

Wuxing could already see the outside interior of the cave from underwater but the moment his face broke the surface, he could not help but call out in amazement, "Woow…"
