The ship was already swimming past the last few meters of a pier the moment Dongmei jumped. She didn't know what her goal was but she could feel it deep down that she had to run to him. Dongmei didn't want to wait away from him for this long. She wanted to run away together with him, not caring what others think. She knew it could disturb Wuxing's plans but at that time, Dongmei didn't care about any plans, following what her heart was telling her.

"Aaa!" Crying loudly after using all the strength of her legs, Dongmei flew more than two meters in the air, aiming at the rope hanging on the stern of the ship, just below the metal railings protecting passengers from falling out. Dongmei knew her capabilities so she didn't plan to catch the railings from the start, deciding to just climb afterwards.

Thud!

Dongmei's body hits the body of the ship with a dull sound, her hands outstretched trying to grab the rope.

The moment her hands met with the rope and gripped it tightly, she couldn't help but exclaim with determination, "Ha! Got you!" The water beneath her wasn't hot even though the air temperature was high so she definitely didn't want to drop there.

The guards who had to stop at the edge as they couldn't make the jump anymore didn't care about their status and cried out angrily, "Miss! Don't do anything stupid!" Naturally, Dongmei ignored them by not even looking back and decided to climb on the board before her hands would give in.

She couldn't wait for help from the board as she could feel the tiredness already filling her body. Dongmei knew Wuxing, who was nearby, would definitely help her right away but she believed she didn't need to expose him too much by climbing in herself.

Dongmei pulled herself up before putting all of her weight on one hand while reaching out to the thick railing with the other one. She planned to slowly climb upwards, but unfortunately, she didn't consider the condition of the railings into her actions. The spot she chose was covered with a sea slime at the top, making her hand not catch a proper grip and slip.

"Noo!" Dongmei screamed as her body started falling, quickly glancing down towards the rope which she had to catch once again else she would fall into the water. She even cursed herself in that split second for being this impatient, but she had no time to think about her mistake further.

While failing down, she caught the rope but because her hand was covered in the slime, it slipped, forcing her to support her whole body on one hand with a greater impact.

"Fuck…" She cursed to absorb the pain that appeared on her arm from overexerting her arm strength, but she couldn't fall. The ship was still moving, only increasing in speed and waves were constantly crashing against the ship as it went moving along with the water.

At that time, she thought of one person who she could always depend on and looked up, in hope to see his face. She didn't see his face. It wasn't Wuxing face but there was someone else. It was the face of a lawyer she met earlier, but the eyes were not his. When she looking into the men's eyes, she could see the care and worry of the man she loved.

His lips, although different, said the same words her love would say, "Grab my hand!" At the moment of danger, there was no more pretending, no more Miss or Mr There was only Wuxing and Dongmei, the two that shared the same feeling deep inside them which was love.

In Dongmei eyes, there was mostly tiredness, but Wuxing's voice was filling her mind, giving her energy and strength to fight more, "Don't worry, I will catch you! Just grab my hand! You can do it!"

Forcing her arm muscles for the last effort, she lifted herself up, reaching out towards the arm hanging above her. Her mind was already calm, only Wuxing's voice echoing inside of it.

"Got you! Hold me tightly! Let go of your second hand and grab onto my second arm!" Crying out to her, Wuxing outstretched his second hand for more support. He knew that his current body wasn't strong enough to lift her up effortlessly so he had to think of a plan B.

Hearing his voice, Dongmei followed his commends, trusting him fully. She knew Wuxing wouldn't do anything to hurt her. Moving all of her weight for Wuxing to carry, she reached out to his second arm, catching his wrist, now forcing Wuxing to carry her body. She could feel the strain it put on his body, making her feel bad for attempting such a stupid idea but she couldn't turn back time.

There were already two sailors next to Wuxing, looking out how they could help and Wuxing quickly ordered, "Open the gate of the railings! I will throw her through it and you will catch her." About one and a half meters away from them, there was a small gate in the railings which served as a possible entrance to the ship.

The sailors didn't wait and rushed to open it, knowing that human life was at stake. They were all trained in such situations and many already been in one so they didn't panic. It would be best if only Wuxing could help her but he didn't have time to recreate his original muscles for that.

When Dongmei saw the gate opening, she couldn't help but cry out, "It's too far! We won't make it!" As she said it, a wave bounced off the starboard, the side of the ship, drenching the bottom of her dress with cold water which caused her to exclaim, "Ah!"

Looking into her eyes, Wuxing said only two words, "Trust me!" It wasn't much but with just those two words, Dongmei shut up, bracing herself. Wuxing began to sway Dongmei's body left and right, trying to flip her onto the deck. They were already at a disadvantage as the gate was in the same direction where the ship was moving.

"We will catch her legs and pull her up!" The sailors shouted back when they realised what Wuxing was doing, reaching out to help. As Wuxing saw their faces, even though the situation was serious, he saw their eyes were glued to Dongmei's butt, swaying in the air. He couldn't help but curse, thinking of killing them, 'Bastards!'

Wuxing didn't hesitate to change his plans, not letting the sailors lay a finger on her, "Don't touch her! I will do it on my own!" He had to exert more strength to save her now but he didn't care. When the sailors heard him, they didn't bother, still planning on helping. They could touch such nice legs during the help and the lady would only thank them. Who wouldn't volunteer to help?

Swinging her left and right until her legs were already almost reaching the sailors' hands, Wuxing suddenly swung Dongmei with all of his power in the opposite direction, letting go of a single hand which let her grab the railing, safely landing on the board. Even though Dongmei wasn't super strong, she was really flexible making such acrobatics possible.

When the sailors got a full view at Dongmei's beauty, ogling her wet dress that wrapped around her perfect butt, none of them hesitated to rush and help. Another two arrived seeing the situation from the distance, picking out the blankets from the emergency cache before running to help as well.

Unfortunately, they didn't expect that Wuxing would suddenly block their way, pulling out a gun from under his suit and aimed at the closest sailor's head, cursing at them, "Fuck off! She is not someone you can touch." He could see their lewd gazes and he couldn't allow that, shielding Dongmei as her rightful partner.

Even though the back of the man in front of her wasn't very familiar to her, the voice Wuxing was speaking now, was definitely his own. He changed it back to show it's the same Wuxing she knew, someone she could always depend on.

When the sailors saw the weapon aiming at them, they swiftly stopped their movements and backed away a bit, the closest one calling out calmly, "Whoa, calm down buddy, we are just trying to help."

The ship was designed to not only carry cargo like food and water for each week but also the prisoners to and from the prison. The sailors naturally were accustomed to the guns as they all carried one, the two who came last even having an assault rifle on their back.

Glaring at them, Wuxing lowered his Beretta and said coldly, "That's good. As you can see, Miss is fine. You can kindly go away." They were a bit shocked that Wuxing changed so suddenly from a kind and happy lawyer to a trained soldier. From the way he handled the gun, they knew he wasn't an amateur.

Even though they knew that, the ship was their territory. Why would they let someone threaten them on their own boat? Just when Wuxing's hand lowered enough to the point he was aiming at the ground, one of the sailors in the back suddenly pulled the belt across his chest, swiftly flipping the assault rifle to the front, catching it into his hands.

Bang! Thud!

A bullet sound resounded on the boat and it was followed by the dull sound of a body hitting the ground and loud cursing, "Arrgh, fuck!" Wuxing's hand was already outstretched, aiming at the guy on the ground who was crying and covering the wound on his leg.

Glancing at the other three sailors, Wuxing asked, continuing to talk in his cold voice, "Next time it will be the head. Anyone else wants to try and aim their guns at Miss? They will only pay with their lives."

When Dongmei heard his words, her heart couldn't help but skip a beat. Dongmei was capable of killing people on a whim but now Wuxing was showing the same for her. Anyone who dares to aim a gun at her will die. She should have stopped Wuxing, forcing everyone to calm down, but at that time, Dongmei could feel the confidence from Wuxing, deciding to let him handle everything. Another reason was that her last name wouldn't help them as the sailors probably never heard of Guan Family.

The distance from the docks was still too little and one distress signal from the captain was enough to surround them with the prison guards responsible for protecting the docks so the situation was really tricky. Naturally, Wuxing knew that as well but he didn't have any other options at the time.

When the sailors finally understood that Wuxing wasn't joking and even knew how to shoot very accurately, they stopped in their positions once again, not daring to make too many unnecessary movements. After all, no one wanted to die and Wuxing didn't seem like he wanted to kill anyone. They also had another reason to drag for time. Wuxing's gunshot was loud enough to alert everyone on the ship and soon many others would arrive.

Just as they expected, an angry shout broke the silence through the short-wave radio near their chests, "What the hell is going on?! I heard a gunshot." Obviously, the four sailors didn't move to respond and stood unblinking aside from the one wounded who was bandaging his leg with a cloth to prevent bleeding. They still couldn't prevent a small smile from appearing on their faces, knowing that Wuxing would soon be caught.

Without any response, the sailors from the inside of the ship thought it was just a misfire so they decided to check it, saying, "Captain, the gunshot came from the deck. We are going out to check it."

Right after the sailor's answer, the Captain shouted once again, "Someone had to fire it! Guns don't shoot on accident! Who did it?" He was extremely kind to the guests travelling with them but now Wuxing could see the Captain's real face.

Aiming at the closest sailor, Wuxing glanced at the radio and ordered, "Pass me the short-wave radio." He knew the best way to settle it was through the Captain as he had the most knowledge here.

Wuxing didn't see Dongmei who was behind him when a sudden realisation hit her. She knew the Captain! She already came here in this ship once so she had the opportunity to stay in his cabin while on the ship. It was the most comfortable one in the ship, so naturally, it was gifted to her for the time of travelling.

Just as she was about to mention it to Wuxing, he already received the walkie-talkie and replied, "I did."

The Captain thought it was someone of his crew so he didn't hesitate to ask angrily, "Who do you think you are?! We still didn't leave the Prison Zone! To my office, now!"

Wuxing only smiled and said in response, "I'm not a Sailor but a simple lawyer who is defending a poor lady from being molested. I wonder what will Guan Family say when they hear their Miss was assaulted on your ship."
