If weakening the darkness, there is only one way for us to do that, and that is to expose Hikari's presence to the people. It will be a hard decision because our purpose here is to stop whatever the chief of this tribe is planning but what about the huge darkness that is looming in this place? It's not something we can just ignore plainly because if left alone, this would cause the forest to be tainted with dark magic and any organism that will get touched by it might end up similar to the mermaid.
"We have no choice. Due to the enemy being a strong monster that holds tremendous power of darkness, that means it will be a dangerous thing that will go run amok and might cause the whole world to be in danger. We can't afford to stay like that again. You don't want these guys to keep abusing the place right?" Moonlight looked at me with clear eyes. She resolutely has a belief for me to do it.
"This is going to get dangerous. Although I know you are strong Moonlight, you have suffered a bit from an illusion earlier. This plan is going to be not easy and I can't guarantee that you will be safe from the attacks. I am going to be fine because of my resistance to it but you are not. I suggest that we have to use another plan. Besides, exposing Hikari to the chief would really be a bad move. There is still Toram who managed to escape. We might end up being in more trouble than we really need to," I said to Moonlight.
"I agree with what Kazuma had said. The plan is reckless and since the enemy is looking for the Elemental Pixie, it would be really an unwise choice if we reveal her on the enemy right now, don't you think?" Leto looked at Moonlight.
Moonlight stayed silent but she nodded.
"I guess it is indeed reckless. I did not put enough thought into my plan. Good thing you all are still here," Moonlight said.
"I know you are still a bit light-headed from the illusion but you will recover soon. For now, I will make sure nothing happens to you."
Moonlight smiled and taps my shoulder. "Thank you, Kazuma."

With our little conversation done, I asked Itazura to quickly cast an invisibility spell. I only realized this spell and never expected that she would actually have such a convenient spell. With that, we managed to sneak into the camp with convenience. It was quite hard for me to do this because I have not been a sneaky guy. But due to the training with Moonlight in the past, this thing is easy for me. Sneaking is just as easy as counting one, two, and three.
The elves are not always around and whenever there is someone or something near that is suspicious, we would halt our movements and stay still. Our very goal is to sneak and get to the tribe chief tent without being detected.
A mission like this is hard but exciting at the same time. I don't play games like this often because I am not a sneaky type of person and sucks at hiding. Good thing, Moonlight trained me and I realized that doing the sneaky thing is quite nice indeed instead of facing head-on. The thrill of the sneak attack is quite nice and I never expected I would get addicted to the feeling. Once I get out of this mission, I would practice sneaking around. I might be able to do good things using this ability in the future.
It didn't take us too long to finally see the tent of the Tribe Chief. What made me frown is the amount of guards guarding the place. It was quite a bad looking place and I have to think of a way to pass through these guys who looks so buff despite them being elves that should be skinny and fit.
"How do we get past the guards? It will be a difficult job for us! The guards would immediately notice us!" Moonlight said as she stares at the entrance of the tent.
"Indeed, it would be difficult. This tribe chief is indeed something to have so many people guarding his tent. This would prove to be one of the toughest parts of us in this mission."
"But does the chief resides in that tent? The guy must have relocated to another tent, " I commented.
"Why don't you try scanning it Kazuma?" Moonlight suggested.
I nodded in agreement. If we don't know anything, then scan on the surroundings and look out for enemies and check if it is going to be a safe gamble or not.
"Mana Scan."
With a light voice, I scanned the tent. At first, I scanned nothing. Then, before I can even proper analyze the situation, a piercing pain suddenly pinch my heart. I clutch my chest hard and blood started pouring out of my mouth.
"F*ck... we have been discovered...retreat..." I muttered.
Moonlight and Leto were stunned at first but they quickly made action to escape. Moonlight quickly used her space magic "Teleport" to escape as fast as possible. However, violet chains appeared on the ground and quickly bind Moonlight's arms and legs.
"Ack! What is this?!" Moonlight struggled but it was pointless because the chains were indestructible.
"Quit struggling intruders. Do tell what business does all of you have in my tribe," a voice of an old man emerged out of nowhere. I looked at the source while Leto supported me to stand up.
It was an elf with a matured look that looks similar to 50 years old human men. He is wearing a robe that has several intricate patterns and some are runes that seem to look a bit disturbing. He is also wielding a staff with four skulls on the tip with a dark violet orb on it. From the looks of it, he looks like a shaman to me.
"Welcome intruders, to my humble tribe. I am the chief of this place, nice to meet you all."
