"The Chief is the one who taught us that bows are something that only the elves' ancestors use and since we are the descendants, we just have to change our choice of weapons and not just stick to bows and arrows. Two sturdy vines appeared beneath his legs and before he can even react from the attack, the vines coiled around his arms and pulled the clasped hands away from each other, causing the barrier to disappear.

While being held into the vines, Catmod has no chance to use a few magic skills that involve clapping both hands together.
