Kamui is no longer the same guy earlier, he lost his humanity. His eyes no longer retain their humanity and only darkness and malice retained to his consciousness.
"This is bad. He no longer retains his humanity!" Asuza said, furrowing her brows.
"What are we going to do? The others are too weak after casting two Gold Chain repeatedly and get destroyed in the end by him. Only the three of us are left to attack him!" Ryoji said.
I furrowed my eyebrows as I look at Kamui's new look. Before we can even react, Kamui already managed to dash forward and reappear in front of me.
"I have to take something you stole from me, human..."
"Ha, yours? More like the school's property! Take this instead!" I said before flashing my middle finger to him.
"You..." Kamui raised his hands in fury and swing it towards me.
His movements are mediocre so it was just a little bit of a hassle since he did it so suddenly. Good thing that my reflexes have been trained for a bit from the dummies last time. If not, I would be sent flying. After dodging, I released a fireball to where I used to stand and blast out a fireball into that direction, allowing me to get ejected in the opposite direction.
Ryoji pulled out his gun and started shooting in the direction of Kamui. He emptied an entire clip into Kamui but all of the bullets did not even manage to penetrate Kamui's new skin.
"Useless bullets..." Ryoji groaned but he pulls out a sort of blue balls of light from his pocket and reloads them to the gun. Before I could ask what those things were, Ryoji released six torrents of bullets from his gun towards Kamui.
This time around, those bullets managed to penetrate damage to Kamui as the latter was forced to retreat a few steps.
"Meddling humans!"
The voice of Kamui was deeper and a bit filled with malice. Is this the result of his malice awakening? Still, his voice seemed to be familiar. The only thing is that I forgot where and when I heard that voice before but I know that it was still a recent activity.
Asuza rushed towards us and cast a healing spell to us.
"What is the plan Asuza-sama?" Ryoji asked.
Asuza sighed and looked serious. "I think it's time to unleash my savageness as part of the mission. I can't let you people get injured and killed at a time like this."
I almost forgot that Asuza is one of the higher ranking magicians with the zodiac sign of the snake. If that was the case, she is not someone easily defeated in many battles.
"Kazuma and Ryoji, I trust the two of you to back me up in this battle. If possible, cover all of the openings I am making in my attacks. Can the two of you do it?"
Ryoji was hesitant but I didn't think twice. "Let's do it!"
Kamui groaned and stood up once again while his wounds from the earlier shots were now healed. His face is already contorted to the extreme that his expression is twisted enough for me to stomach. Asuza flicks her arms and two whips appeared in her hands. The whips' end are all shaped like the head of a snake and they looked like they were about to move if used to whip something but I doubt an animated item can move without any mechanism or magic.
Ryoji closed his eyes and his pistol suddenly glowed red. Like how Moonlight does in her bamboo sword, Ryoji's pistol morphed into a hand cannon and merged itself to Ryoji's hand. These guys are showing off their capabilities to morph normal items into magical items. Still, I don't need to get jealous because I can still use magic with a little limitation than them who are always limited to mana whenever they use magic.
Kamui dash forward, with his two arms formed in a fist. Those fist is gleaming with danger just by looking at it from plain view. But I did not sense any fear and nervousness from Asuza. Without batting an eyelid, Asuza runs forward while wielding the two whips around.
As soon as Asuza reached into the range of Kamui, the snake-shaped whips glowed red and their tips suddenly move on their own. Holy f*ck, those whips are snake whips?! Kamui slams his fist to Asuza but she just dodges away with ease and counters the attack of Kamui with a whip from her two whips in rapid succession causing Kamui to groan in pain.
I saw an opening immediately and since Asuza is still in the way, I run straight to the wall and did my momentum in a good angle so that Asuza won't be able to get caught by my attack.
"Fireball!"
At the same time, Ryoji pointed his cannon arm to my fireball, angle it a bit and released a cannonball out. It was perfectly angled that it collides with my fireball. The only thing is that the fireball did not dissipate after it hits the cannonball, instead, the fireball combined itself to the cannonball creating a burning cannonball.
Kamui is still hurt from the stinging pain caused by the whip which made him unable to dodge in time on the cannonball.

The explosive force of the cannon is not enough to blow Kamui's defenses. That cannonball is the same size as a bowling ball. Although I am not sure how strong the cannonball was, I am quite sure that the explosive power of the cannonball should have given damage to Kamui.
Asuza didn't bother if the attack of the cannonball was strong or not. She jumps into the air with both whips in her hands. I noticed that the handle of both whips are all inside a big magic circle and rotating rapidly.

The whips started to grow bigger than what it originally looked like and the heads of the snake started to grow bigger which makes them look like a menacing snake, ready to devour anyone that blocks its way. Is this the real power of a Magician Councilor?
The snakes moved on its own and rushed towards Kamui and bit his two hands. Then, Asuza looked at us.
"Deal the final blow! Destroy the bamboo sword!"
Wait, what? Destroy the bamboo sword? Then what the heck is the point risking our lives to deal damage on him if the only thing that can defeat this guy is just destroying his main weapon?!
