I keep on running while clinging on the box tightly on my body. Some of the knives are sticking on my clothes and some even pierced my skin and it still f*cking stings. This was the most horrible day of my life. This is even more challenging than the games I played in the past. Although the pain is still there, it's not comparable to the pain I experienced during the training regime that Moonlight allowed me to get smashed by Giants.
My house is almost near and I can get in there before these guys do. If I manage to get there safely, I will be asking for help from my fellow magicians. And sh*t, I can't believe that I managed to get this far.
"Idiotic guy, you didn't even ask your familiar to do some illusion for you. It would have been helpful as a cover-up from the enemies if you allowed Itazura to cast the illusion skill of hers. Did you forget it?" Lil' Blue started blabbering nonsense again.
"Of course not! But activating it on this crowd will only allow me to get my status as a magician revealed in public. Its one of the rules to not use magic in public right?!"
"Then what about the Haste magic you keep on using, isn't that magic that you keep on using in the public? Also, isn't this going to be viral right now in the social media or whatever you call it since the public is watching the chase scene of you and the people pursuing you, isn't that one of the rules too?" this blue seed is really on the point this time and I guess this seed is enjoying my little misery right now.
"Just shut up will ya, you don't even have any help in this situation of mine."
"Oh, I can help you with minor stuff but I can't help you escape your enemies. A little bit of memory will suffice, what do you say?"
"And just what would it be?"

"Cheapskates, alright, you win. Go and help me out in here, I don't want to die yet. Better use those memories rather than dying here."

And with that, the seed went silent and suddenly, I feel my body getting lighter and I don't feel the heaviness of my body due to fatigue. It was like I miraculously drank an energy drink which caused the fatigue I am feeling to disappear entirely! What is more, I felt like my mind is getting sharper and my brain functions faster in decision makings while on the run. It was like my destination is already preset and that I don't need to look at signboards to get to my home.
All of a sudden, a barrage of knives was thrown to me. The crowd who are witnessing the scene were all shouting in fear. I can't dodge it in time and before I knew it, the knife hits me. However, instead of piercing me, they just bounced off like they hit a solid rubber. They didn't get to penetrate my skin after all.
"Is this the power that you activated for me?"
"You like it? It's all enhancement powers I activated for you just to let you survive. Also, as a bonus, I activated the invincible state you are in for 30 minutes and you won't be able to get wounded by any weapons for the next 30 minutes. Use the 30 minutes proficiently because it will cost you memories again if it runs out."
Invincibility! Isn't that just OP? I won't worry about being killed by anything while in this state. It will be a good thing for me to activate this whenever I am in a fight!
"Oy, oy, did you think I will activate the invincibility state whenever I want? That is just cheating bruh, use your own strength and don't rely on invincibility always because that won't allow you to grow stronger. Instead, it will make you more reliant on that skill. This activation is just for this occasion only. In the future, you can't have another access to invincibility magic. This is just surpassing human limits."
Though I am a bit disappointed because I can't even exploit this godly effect, I am not a choosy guy and can accept whatever blessings that come in my way. I just continue running and ignore everyone on sight.
I made sure to run around alleys to make sure that the crowd of normal people won't be able to follow me. Of course, I can't get rid of the pursuers but at least the normal people won't get involved in this matter that I am currently making.
After a few twists and turns, the building which is my house and the headquarters is finally on sight. And on the entrance, I can see a few magicians already preparing for the assault. Most of them are magicians whom I made contact with but not much. Yaya, Moonlight, and Miya are also there waiting and seems to be ready to deal with the incoming assault.
The magicians in there finally saw me when I got out of the alley while countless of enemies are following me. I was horrified to see a group of men and women chasing me like they are in steroids. I can't believe I managed to outrun them. Does that mean I am ready for a World War Z race?
"Kazuma! Get over here quick! We are now 99% ready to fire out our magic to the enemies! We can't let you get caught by the blast!" Moonlight shouted.
Hearing that, I speed up even more and before I knew it, I am in a few inches of them. However, it looks like the magic is now in 100% output and I can't make it to the other side.
"NO!"

A strong barrage of magic rained down in my direction. And since I didn't get to reach the place in time, I was also one of the unlucky guys that were blasted by the magic. One thing I did this time even if the magic attacked me, is that I didn't let go of my embrace the box containing the items. I protected it using my body.
Then, I just realized it. Isn't my status currently invincible? Why would I be afraid of damage if the damage can't even penetrate me? Am I that stupid or what? The barrage of magic lasted for 3 minutes, killing all of the pursuing magicians. Moonlight seems devastated and Miya and Yaya shook their head in dejection. From the looks of their reactions, they thought I died and became one with the pile of corpses on the road.
Just as they were about to start crying, I raised my hand out of the pile of corpses and rise up from the pile like a warrior returning home. It was like I am the sole survivor of the whole mess after the eradication of the enemies. Of course, that was just a random bullsh*try I am thinking about. Even though I am in the invincible state, being piled up with corpses that vary in weight is just too hard for me. They are just too heavy at times that I almost got suffocated by them. Luckily, I came out alive. And the mystery is how the heck did they started to pile up on me after I managed to outrun them.
I came out from the pile of corpses and the magicians who fired the devastating magic were all stunned beyond belief. They can't believe I am still alive after that magic that killed dozens of people pursuing me. This time, Moonlight almost broke out in tears and punched me in the stomach.
"Oof! Why did you punch me..." I groaned due to the pain that registered to my body after being punched. It looks like the invincibility state I was in finally wear out after the battle.
"That was for making everyone worry. You didn't ask for help this time. If we have known that you are about to fetch something that is being coveted by other magicians, we would have escorted you there!" Moonlight pouted.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know about the package was this dangerous to handle and I thought it was just a very simple errand job. Who would have thought that I would be risking my life just to safely arrive and deliver this item back?"
I looked behind me and saw all of the corpses that were all defeated by the magicians. That magic they did was truly devastating and was horrified to see the amount of damage done. And if the invincibility magic did not work out, I am really dead that time for sure and I won't be here standing. The magic just killed them all in one fell swoop.
"Just one question though. How do we dispose of all of these dead bodies? Will the police come knocking us on our doors after this?"
