I checked my phone and the chat group and saw that the chat group is still on. Sighing in relief, I decided to pocket the phone again and equipped the gloves into my hands. Without the knowledge of the place, I need to be cautious.
My feet takes me to the Shibuya Crossing(1). Unlike the usual Shibuya Crossing bustling with people, the place I am seeing is no longer resembling to what I remember. The white lines on the ground are wrecked, the concrete is cracked and dead bodies are also littered here. The former Shibuya 109(2) is also no longer standing. The trees on the streets are only tree trunks without a single leaf. I frowned at this sight. If Tokyo goes like this, is it possible that humans living here are dead?
Just as I am wondering, I suddenly saw a movement not too far away from the area. I am a cautious person so instead of approaching the movement, I decided to hide and observe the movement first before choosing my next option. Soon enough, I can see a silhouette on the distance. It seems to be scrambling on the pile of trash but I can see that it is neither human or animal, it stood upright but its silhouette doesn't look closer than a human.

"What the heck is that?" I murmured. I don't really know what that is, the silhouette is just to obscure to call as a human.

The setting in this place is Tokyo at war when I first arrived but seeing the demon, I quickly changed my mindset on the area. This place is not ravaged by war but ravaged by demons and human war. From the looks of it, the humanity in this setting lost the war causing the demons to run rampant.
With quick movements, I moved away from my previous location and look around the buildings, however, access seems to be limited to the streets as the buildings contain rubble. I continue to walk in the streets, hoping to find another human but it is futile and I saw no one else except the wreckage. However, I do not lose hope and continue to search the area.

This time, I am more aware on what I heard and with that, I looked around and check the place. In the corner of a building is a kid with 10 years old of age. Looking left and right, I don't see any demons, so after checking, I returned to my calm composure before rushing to the kid.
