Erina is still looking out on the counter but she is extremely busy putting the money from the bag back to the cash register. It would be a really bad thing for her if the boss found out about it. She saw us get in and she bowed down again before she continue doing her business. She might have thought that Volta and Yaya are both police officers in civilian clothes. We approached the man who is still tied up. He is still sobbing like how he did earlier. It was clear that he is too sad that he can't get the money to save his daughter.

"Is this the man?" Yaya asked.

"Yes, he is the one. I tied him up after apprehending him earlier," I said to them.

"Good job on that, Kazuma. I never knew you are good in fighting others," Volta said and pat my shoulders.

"Nah, I learned how to fight for self defense, its not really that surprising," I said to them. And besides, if I don't know how to fight, Moonlight's training might end me up dead if I don't retaliate.

Yaya and Volta approached. Volta pulls out an ID or something and I was surprised to see that it was the ID that most police show to the people so that they can get into questioning or checking the crime scene. Are they really police? No... I doubt it. I also saw Yaya pull out something too so I am guessing that they might have already one beforehand or they have used a magic and created that item on the spot. Or the most logical reason would be that Rena prepared them beforehand. Anything is possible.

"We are sent by the police department of Tokyo branch. This young man over here said that your daughter has been kidnapped and the kidnappers are demanding a 5 million yen ransom from you. I don't understand why you didn't coordinated with the police. We are handling similar cases just like yours," Yaya said to him. Just by her tone makes you want to believe that she really is a police officer. However, I am still confused how the heck they can pose as one if they look liked teenagers than police officers? They can't be counted as detectives either.

"You guys. You won't believe me even if I told you..." the man said to them.

"We believe you, just tell us the details and we will start looking for her immediately. We might even get the money necessary for the ransom. Just cooperate with us. We can forget the event of your act of robbery here if you helped us. This is a big case and we need every clue to get to it. Are you willing to help us? We would look for your daughter and in return, you provide clues for us," Volta said.

The man looks at Yaya and then in Volta before he sighed.

"...Alright. I will work with you. But I need to find my daughter. I can't let someone lay a hand on her. They need to step over my dead body!" the man gets agitated.

I looked at this particular man. He might be poor but he is very dedicated with his daughter. I hope all fathers are like that too though.

We left the convenience store and I was surprised to see a police mobile outside. I was sure that the police mobile was not here before. What kind of magic did they do? Or is this the work of Yaya contacting Rena? So many confusing details...

We ride into the car and the man was surprised to see me get inside the car.

"Why is he coming along with us?" he asked.

"Oh, that guy is one of our undercover agent and he was currently off duty that is why he can tag along," Volta quickly said.

I looked at Volta and gave a sign of agreement. He nodded and grinned.

"We will go first on the place where your daughter is kidnapped. Do you know where she was the last time?" Yaya asked and pulls out a pen and notepad.

"She was attending Kirigiya Elementary School and I send her there daily and pick her up every afternoon. Yesterday, she was missing and I frantically looked for her. I even asked her teachers and other classmates and they said that they saw her waiting outside the gate. I looked everywhere and the only thing I found is her left shoe. Then, early in the morning, the call about those kidnappers telling me they have my daughter reached me. That is when the time that I panicked and beg for them to bring my daughter back. They quickly said that they will bring my daughter in Sensouji after 2 days from now. If I don't bring the money within that time span, I won't be able to meet my daughter,"the man explained.

"Do you still have their number after they called you?" I asked.

"I keep their number for the sake of contacting them but strangely, after the call, the number disappeared and I can't see it even if I looked into the call register of my phone."

"As expected, this is a very troublesome matter. They have done something," Yaya pondered.

"Lets go to Kirigiya Elementary School. We had to find some clues in there," Volta said.

"I agree, lets go. We can't waste time," Yaya said and quickly pull stepped on the gas and move on.

I stayed quiet and pondered on everything the clues has added. This people who kidnapped the little girls might just be a single group, but we can also assume that the guy who kidnaps them might be operating by himself or herself. And from the looks of it, a battle against them is not something to be avoided. I hope Volta and Yaya can be a good teammate this time. And the only key of meeting the causes of this event is this guy. My eyes fall into the canned goods that I just bought. For some reason, I think this canned goods will take a few time for me to eat...
