After eating the charisma cookie Sam went into a small room made for people that needed to change, there were already 3 guys inside changing. They looked curiously at Sam when he took of his shirt and went back to their things right after, soon Sam got out of the changing room all dressed up and went back at his place to sit and listen to his music while a few girls looked his way, if he was an 8 out of 10 physically before, he was a 9 now. Of course the girls would look at him this way, he was probably the most handsome guy in the show at the moment and even had already quite a few fans because of the first episode.
He was dressed in an uncommonly classy suit, half eastern and half western, add to that the make up and his haircut he looked more handsome than ever. Of course the charisma cookie was also doing its job, he had now a cumulative 21 points with the original and the additional points.
He didn't have the time to care so he just sat down while listening to the song he will be singing, he had decided to sing a strong song : both in the lyrics and in the beat, he had looked around the rock category in his phone and finally decided on a song he liked a lot, he used to listen to it 50 times a day when it was released : Believer by Imagine Dragon.
Imagine dragon was a pop rock group, he didn't listen to rock usually but Imagine Dragon was different, their style was very unique and great. He listened to them for the first time when Radioactive's music video was being broadcasted on MTV and he had became a fan since then, he liked particularly the catchy beats and Dan Reynolds : the lead vocalist's skills. As Sam was sitting in the waiting room people started going one by one while being followed by cameras, once again the stage was broadcasted in the waiting room for people to see their competitors, there were also cameras in the waiting room and the waiting contestants were sometimes shown live for the people on their TV's at home to see their reactions.
People went one after the other and all performed well, Sam didn't know most of them as they were from other episodes of auditions that he didn't bother himself watching but they were all incredibly talented, he wasn't the only singer and his competitors in that area were real professionals that had taken classes and stuff, he didn't feel pressured but he knew he couldn't underestimate them. Even now he didn't watch his competitors and just listened to his song while being completely focused, he wanted to feel the feelings behind the lyrics to be able to create them too.
Finally after an hour long wait it was his turn, like during the auditions day he was called by someone and brought on the stage while being followed by a camera, contrary to the first round there would be no editing of this clip, right now everyone behind their televisions were following live the episode, amongst them were both Eric's family and Annie's family cheering for Sam.
"Hi Sam !"
The main judge said, he remembered Sam for two reasons : Sam performance had really left a deep impression on all of the judges and even the audience, the second reason of course was because he had a list with the order of passage of the candidates.

He replied smilingly.
"You looks like you are under less pressure than the other time, are you ready to perform at the top of your performances tonight ? »
