Anyway, Bloodwort family has the title of Archduke. Since Spade's father is still the master of the family, Spade's title is still a Duke but everyone views him highly like a prince because of his family name.
Archduke and a normal duke is not the same okay? In this game world, Archdukes are higher than a normal duke. They are a member of the house of those who is a direct descendant of the queen, they are of the same social standing as a prince. The Duchess' family would be given a special treatment whenever they were to be married to the royal family and giving the title of an Archduke is the special treatment. A duke is a person not belonging to royalty but to the nobility.
The kingdom of Rosse has four families with the title of Archduke; Bloodwort Family, Wright Family, Fleur Family and Garnelia Family.
"Are you willing to take his engagement proposal, Brielle? It's okay if you don't want to."
As much as I don't want to be held down by another marriage proposal, I don't want to give father any problems. Since I know Spade's character, I know that he won't stop until he gets what he wants.
Besides.. this will be a good way to keep my distance from Luke. I feel guilty for using Spade against Luke but Spade would be staying by my side 24/7 since he still has to destroy the cursed object in the library.
