After bidding goodbye to Lady Intera, Spade and I were now on our way home.
"You really don't like her, do you?"
I looked at Spade with a frown. "Can you see the way that she looks at you?! Why would I like her?! If you dare look at her in the same way you look at me, I will pluck out your eyes."
I'm feeling so annoyed right now as I remembered the way she looked at Spade! Argh! Just because she's the MC doesn't mean she can attract all the men she wants!
"That will never happen. I already offered my heart to you, so please take care of it."
I huffed and placed my hand on his chest, I can feel his beating heart. "Your heart is still here."
"I can carve it out for you." He said as he placed his hand on top of mine.
Argh.. I will feel like a bad person if I let him do that.
"I-I'll let this go just this once!" I pulled my hand back and crossed my arms.
I sighed, I just want to have some of my sweets, remembering how Spade stopped me from eating my precious babies made me sulked.
"I'm not talking to you anymore!"
"... Why?"
"You didn't allowed me to eat my sweets!"
"I thought you're not going to talk with me anymore so why did you answered?"
I turned to Spade and saw his amused face, this made me glare at him. How can he enjoy this while I'm throwing a tantrum at him?!
Fine! I will not talk to you!
I turned and ignored him the whole way.

When I entered the mansion, my eyes went wide upon seeing a familiar man.. Luke..
He was sitting on a sofa and he was reading a book.
Feeling my gaze on him, he turned his head and looked at me, a smile found its way on his lips. He closed the book and stood up. "Welcome back, sister."
I gulped. The way he smile looked dangerous.. "W-why are you here?"
"It's already Christmas break, it is only normal for me to go home, right?" He chuckled.
"O.. oh.." I almost forgot, Luke's coming home for Christmas vacation.
"Ah, and here I thought you'll be excited to see me.. I feel hurt to see my beloved sister being distant." He opened his arms. "Won't you give this brother of yours a hug?"
I hesitated. Luke was acting like he usually does, I should be glad right?
Each step I took was heavy, I was nervous.
Upon reaching him, I wrapped my arms around his body and hugged him. "W.. Welcome home, brother."
I felt his arms around me, he was caging me inside his arms. "I missed you.." He whispered to my ear. "Yiren."
I tensed up, I felt chills run down my spine. My heart was racing and I know that I'm blushing right now. The way he said my name was perfect.. I can't do this.. I have to stop! He's my brother!
I felt his arms loosen around me but the moment he did, I was pulled away from him.
"Welcome back brother-in-law."
Luke straightened his back and looked at Spade with a smile that didn't reached his eyes. "The last time I was here, you were just a guest in this house. I'm surprised to learn that you've become my sister's fiance."
"Things happened."
"Indeed, it does. I wonder who'll be the next fiance of my beloved sister?" He said with a provoking smile. "Alyn lasted for nine years, I wonder how long will you last?"
"Luke!" I gave him a warning glare, he was not being nice!
He chuckled and patted my head. "Sorry~ I'm just being a protective brother so you can't blame me, okay? I was just testing him."
"He's my fiance, you don't need to do that."
"That's what you said back then.. with your ex-fiance." He snickered.
"Stop it!" I quickly turned to Spade, he was glaring dangerously at Luke. "Please ignore him. Don't let him get into you, he usually loves provoking people."
"Ah, that's not true. I'm just stating the truth you know."
"You don't have to worry about your sister, I promise to take care of her." Spade turned to me and touched my cheek gently.
I smiled at Spade's sweet gesture. "You should get some rest now. I know that you're tired."
He nodded, "You too." He bent down and kissed my forehead. "Dream of me." He turned to Luke and glared at him before he left and went to his room.
"Seriously? 'Dream of me'?! As if I'm going to allow that!"
"Luke, if you dare try to manipulate my dream again, I swear I will make you bald!"
"I will still look good even if I'm bald tho." He laughs.
"Luke! I'm serious!"
He raised his hands up in defeat as he gave out a sigh, "Okay, okay, I won't do that."
"Hmpf!" I walked pass him but I was suddenly stopped when he grabbed hold of my wrist.
I turned to him and glared. "Let go."
"Are you sure about him, Yiren?"
My heart throbbed when he said that.
"You shouldn't be calling me that here. And yes, I am sure about him, I like him."
My chest.. why is it aching again?

"We all want the same thing, forgiveness, love and some chocolate."

He was waving a chocolate bar at me, "Come on Vivi, forgive me and admit that you love me. I promise that you won't regret it."
I looked at the chocolate and sighed. I reached out and took the chocolate from him. I saw him grin when he saw me fell for his bait.
Hah! As if I will fall for this simple trick!
"Do you know what I want right now?"
"A loving kiss from me?" He smirked as he took a step closer to me.
I blushed and frowned. "No! What I want right now is for you to leave me alone!"
I quickly turned and run away as fast as I can. I entered my room and locked my door and windows, I can't allow him to enter my room and disturb me in my sleep!

I started eating it, at least today, my sugar level is satisfied!

"Hmpf!" I walked pass him but I was suddenly stopped when he grabbed hold of my wrist.
I turned to him and glared. "Let go."

My heart throbbed when he said that.
"You shouldn't be calling me that here. And yes, I am sure about him, I like him."
