"I should be happy? I'm going to marry my friend who's- oh yeah, a huge player. I wanted to have a simple and happy marriage life but that won't be the case since I know you, I can see myself getting a lot of headaches from you."
He smiled, "I stopped being a player a year ago. Besides, I am the kind of man who takes marriage seriously."
She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "As if that can be true."
Yun Shen's smiling face became serious, his playful facade earlier was gone, "You don't have to believe it since I will show it to you and prove my words through my actions."
The look on Yun Shen was something rare for Yiren, he looked like he was a total different person when he gave her that look, for some reason, it made her want to believe him.
She shyly looked away, she couldn't stare back at him if he continues staring at her that way.
"I just want you to give me a chance to prove it, Yiren."
