Before she completely gets annoyed, she decided to send a text message to her grandfather, informing him that she's okay and will be home for about an hour or two.
Her phone immediately rang right after the message was sent.
She automatically swiped right to receive the call, assuming that the call was from her grams.
"Hey, Grams! I'm all good. See you at dinner!" Kiang Leilei said in a cheerful voice.
"Lei..."
As soon as Kiang Leilei heard the voice from the other line, she ended the call right away.
"F*ck! I thought it was grams."
Kiang Leilei hurriedly put her phone to silent and slid it back inside her bag.
"How dare her! After yelling at me, she still has the nerve to call?"
