"Do you like it?" an old man approached her.
"I do Sir, it's really beautiful, such a picturesque image of a beautiful mother caring for her children, such love was express to this piece of art," she said
It surprises the man from hearing Angelique sweet words, "She was indeed a caring mother."
It stunned Angelique, "Sh-She was your wife?"
The old man nodded as she went closer to the figurine, "She was undoubtedly, the most caring mother I've ever encounter."
"You were lucky to have such a mother." She responded
The old man smiled hearing Angelique comforting words, "Miss, I was planning to exhibit this and sell it for auction but it seems like I found the perfect place for it."
He then grabs the figurine and handed it to Angelique causing those around them to be in shock.
"Is he giving the figurine away for nothing."
"Such an expensive piece who is that girl? She is so lucky."
Hearing the crowds words made Angelique anxious and panic, "Sir, I'm grateful but at least let me pay for it. Such a piece must have taken you a long time to complete."
"It has already been paid for, so do not worry, since my effort didn't go to waste since you appreciate it so much," he said
Angelique was in a dilemma and didn't know what to do, the man words were just so hard to reject but she felt awful accepting something so expensive for nothing. "Did you buy something?" he asked
"Ange, what did you buy? I swear most of the art piece were more than a million dollars." Annie said
The staff carrying the box answered for them, "Sir, Madam no worries, this is a gift from one of the artist to the Young Lady. Rest assured everything is paid and has been handled properly."
"Sir may I asked, how much was the piece my friend was given too," Annie asked
"This piece is worth $10 Million," he said
It surprises Angelique to find out that the figurine the old man gave her was worth that much, "What? $10 Million?"
Seeing Angelique surprise expression stunned Annie and Jordon, "Ange, didn't you know?"
Angelique looked pale as if she saw a ghost, "I really didn't know."
Annie went over and comforted Angelique before she collapses, "Well, you are indeed lucky anyways."
