That evening Angelique returned to her room with puffy eyes and worn-out face. Before she could step inside her room, Annie came running from the corridor. "Angelique."
Annie looked exhausted as if she've run a marathon, "I been looking for you."
"Sorry Annie, I need to get some fresh air and clear my head."
Annie comforted her, "I know, he said something really harsh this time."
Both of them then step inside the room as Angelique sat down by the sofa while Annie went to get her something to drink. "Thanks, Annie."
Annie felt relieved she was fine if it was her she would feel so ashamed. "Anyway, I didn't find you in time before the Producer Chia left, He said will continue with the video, he said he'll look for someone to replace Nicholas by tomorrow."
"Sure, I'll get some rest then Annie." Angelique slowly got up her chair.
"What about dinner?" Annie asked
Thinking of food suddenly made Angelique recall the moment she had with Scott earlier, her heart ached and she felt like crying, but she didn't want to worry Annie again, "I'm full and I'm on a diet."
"I see, then rest well..."
After Annie left the room, she closed the door and collapse on the ground. Waterfalls of tears fell from her face again. She was so furious that everything that happened last night must be just because they suddenly slept with each other. Angelique has exhausted her eyes and just came out of the shower when she heard her phone rung. "Hello?"
"Ange, you okay?" a soft man voice asked
"I'm fine Jordon, just about to get some zs."
"I see, then I won't bother you anymore. Get some rest, once I'm there I'll surely drain you out."
Angelique laughed, "Drained me? What do you plan to do extreme sports?"
"Something like that..."
"Fine then, night... I mean morning."
Angelique could hear a faint giggle on the other end, "Sleep well."
Back in England, a man was full of smiles after ending his call.
"If hearing her voice can bring such a smile, I wonder what will happen once you see her?" Toby said as he steps inside the shop. "One cappuccino please."
"Toby didn't expect you to visit. Why are you here?" Jordon asked
Toby sighed, "Bloody hell, you talked to her for a moment and you've forgotten why you asked me here."
It embarrassed Jordon hearing Toby's harsh words, "I'm sorry, anyway, do you have the layout for the next shop."
"My gosh, what's the point of me coming here for..." Toby felt furious since he was gay his attitude was so girly.
Jordon comforted Toby as he escorted him to his seat, "Now don't be made, you'll get wrinkles and your boyfriend won't like you anymore."
Toby frowned, "What boyfriend? That *sshole, if I see him..."
Jordon was about to explode, why was he digging his own grave all of the sudden, "By the way, Jose made a fresh bake cake, would you like some?"
"Cake?"
Jordon felt relieved as it got Toby attention, he quickly went to the back and brought the fresh cake. Whilst Toby was busy satisfying himself, Jordon check on the plans for Angelique new shop.
"Ange sure has become someone hasn't she..." Toby said as he finished his cake
"She sure has..."
"Has it ever occurred to you that one day her mom might visit the shop?"
Jordon put the plan down, "Of course, if that day comes, I'll just drag Angelique out rather than see her break down again."
"I still can't believe her family actually did that to her?"
"Every family has there own drama but I won't allow her to experience that again. To threaten once life... Hmmm, Ridiculous."
