An hour had passed since I unlocked the system and as promised, I started working. After preparing the remaining 4 chickens, I opened up the electrical stove and began roasting them. With a electrical stove, the heat will be much easier to manage and since the heat is not as high, the chicken don't need to rotate as much. Soon many people were attracted by the scent of the chicken. It was like Pied Piper attracting the rats, more and more people were pulled towards the chicken.
Soon my chickens are done and I received my 1st customer. "Sir, how much does this chicken cost?" a man asked.
" it's 5 slivers for one whole chicken and 20 coppers for a plate of stir fried mushrooms and vegetables with blood sucker repelling garlic." I answer. I had thought about the price for quite a while.
"that's quite expensive no?" the man stroked his mustache and raised one of his eyebrows.
"Expensive? Try it and you will know how much of a bargain you are receiving." I replied with full confidence. While I may be shy and awkward during interviews and events, I am extremely proud of my cooking.
"So confident? hahahaa alright I'll get one of the chickens." the man said.
Soon my chickens and stir fried mushrooms and vegetables were sold out. A total of 4 chickens and 20 portions of stir fried vegetables. Within 2 hours all of my dishes are gone and I earned 24 slivers. I gave out a tired smile and sat down on my chair exhaustedly. it's been a while since I last cooked so much, after my 20th Michelin star, I no longer cook much in the kitchen. All that I do is go around my restaurants to check on the quality of the food and invent new food items. Unless important guess comes I will rarely cook. After my 50th Michelin star, my fame had became so big that I only cook if someone spends hundreds of millions USD for me to cook personally for them.
"When was the last time I felt so happy when my customer enjoys my food." I said to myself while looking up into the starry night sky.
"What a beautiful world." I thought as I stood up and started cleaning up.
"Wife, daughter! I brought some food back for you guys to eat." It was the 1st customer of mine today. "Dad is the best!" a girl who is about 152cm shouted happily while she walks out while hugging her mother's arm.
"My daughter, Xiao bing, in a few more days you will be traveling to the tiny dog city for school. How can I not pamper you more??" the man laugh as he pats Xiao Bing's head. The man is Xiao Lan Feng, he is the head of this village. In this world, when a child turns 14 they can choose to go to school to train their levels.
"Come come, let's eat." the mother says while she took out the chicken that is still smoking and placed it on a plate.
As the mother cut into the meat, a burst of fragrance exploded within the house. "My god! How fragrant." all three of them exclaimed as they greedily suck in the smell of the roasted chicken.
"Don't touch my chicken!" Xiao Bing shouted as Xiao Lan Feng tried to steal a piece of chicken breast with some stuffing.
"Come-on Bing Bing, just one piece?" Xiao Lan Feng looked at his daughter desperately and begged.
"You have already finished your portion and you still want more? Also didn't you say you brought them for us?" Xiao Bing said while she pouted and put her hands on her hips.
The mother looks at how Xiao Bing and Xiao Lan Feng are acting amusingly as she started laughing. Xiao Bing and Xiao Lan Feng looked at each other with some confusion but soon understand the reason behind her laughter and they started laughing as well.
Not just at the village head's house, many of Ren's customers family were in a happy atmosphere after eating his food. This is one of the charms that Ren's cooking produce. Even if you let someone and Ren cook out the exact same dish with the same ingredients and recipes, this charm will only exist in Ren's dish.
