It's been three years since I let my instincts take over and in those three years I killed four people, three out of self-defense and one because he attacked me wanting a fair duel, and even thou I say self-defense I killed them with no hesitation, at first I was scared why I felt no hesitation when doing it or why I didn't feel sorry for them but very soon I realized, It was because I lost to my survival instincts.

I slept for three hours a day because I was scared of someone trying to kill me in my sleep again, and for food, there was always something next to us when we woke up being that bread, vegetables, or meat, the rule that all of us 'players' figured out was 'you don't sleep you don't eat'.

I got used to being sleep deprived very fast but it didn't bother me because there were only forty-eight people remaining, we didn't know how this game would end If we were the last to survive would we go home or would we have to face the big boss himself, and if we would, what if we lost?

Those were the questions that killed many people who're spirits broke.

The OverWorld was mostly made out of sand and stones, there were some caves and underground tunnels where most of the people who died first tried to hide, we the smart ones waited for someone to kill them and to leave the cave so we could rest there all thou that didn't work all the time, those cases when it didn't work was when I was ambushed and almost killed.

It's good that you can hear echoes in those caves.

Another thing I found out was that The OverWorld isn't endless there's a glass wall when you reach a certain point, It's like we're trapped inside an hourglass or something.

"Rumble, rumble!"

"Who's there" Rin shouted while he turned around, from behind a rock, a man appeared.

"Ahhh, sorry, sorry I didn't mean to surprise you, I mean you no harm."

"Who are you?"

"Ah, of course, interactions, well my name I Alexander Daison and you are?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"Huh, why well because I told you my name, it's called manners."

"I don't need a stranger to give me a lesson in manners." He told Alexander as he turned around and tried to leave.

"It seems you do!"

-Rin turned back around angrily and answered

"Rin Kanjo, there!"

"Well nice to meet you Rin, see That wasn't so hard."

"So what do you want if you're trying to play the nice guy act to deceive me and then later kill me it ain't gonna work."

"First of all whats with that manner of speech,

and secondly, I'm here to ask for an alliance."

"Alliance, What?"

"You can't tell me you don't know what alliance means."

"Yeah, no clue."

"Alright, I'll teach you, So when two or more people decide to work together with the same goal in mind they team up and that's the meaning of alliance."

"So you want to team up with me, for what?"

"To take out Hora."

"Now your speaking, but how do I know you won't betray me?"

"There are no words I can say that will make you trust me completely but where I come from there's this thing we do that means we trust each other."

-Alexander bit into his finger and a drop of blood came out.

"I understand."

-Rin did the same and they made a blood pact of truth.

"If we're to take out Hora we'll need a plan, tell me Rin what's your ability?"

"It's called Little start, I can take the energy that's inside of materials and other nonliving things and store it inside of me, later on, realise it as a blast of energy, but I can only take the energy from one idem at a time."

"And Also, for example, say this sand we're standing on I can only take the energy of one little grain of it at a time, and its energy is almost nothing. If I want to produce a lot of power I would need something big and with a lot of power itself."

" It seems we're not too different, you and I, hahaha, let me explain, my ability is called The merchant and it allows me to take a person's power or life force and turn it into energy which I am able to transform into anything from grass all the way to a castle, I can probably make something bigger but I haven't tried to yet."

"The bigger my creation the longer it takes to create and also the bigger it is the more energy it will require."

"That's pretty useful if we combine ur powers we can make a pretty good team," told Rin Alexander.

" Even if we make a good team we still don't have enough power to take out Hora, we should take our time, and loud up on energy"

"Yeah, that's a smart idea."

"Well thank you very much." Alexander laugh.

Since then Alexander and I started working together we divided our sleeping schedule, each of us slept for five hours and while one was sleeping the other was keeping guard, when we had free time or when we were traveling he would teach me new words and their meanings, He would go to bed first and sleep shorter just so we could have more time to travel and complete our plan, he thought I wouldn't notice, and when our food was next to us he would wait for me to wake up just so he could teach me how to eat properly, like a proper man he said!

The times we spent in combat were the longest, we went and attacked other people.

During that time Alexander thought me how to fight properly, I didn't use little star but a sword he created for me, he said I need to learn how to fight with a sword and other times he sent me into battle empty-handed, while I was fighting the enemy, he was giving me instructions on what to do, I never finished a because, he always ended up draining their energy and leaving them on the ground unconscious.

During the time I spent with Alexander I came to love him more and more, he became my best friend, we did everything together, eat, train, and even shared our deepest secrets before I knew it a year had passed.

"By the way how old are you anyway Alexander, I have been wondering, you don't seem that much older than me but you're so grown up?"

"I was sixteen when I arrived here so now I'm 20, and you?"

"When I came here I was eleven, so now Im fifteen?"

"yes, it's been four years since this hell started, well I guess its better than home im sure," said Alexander with a deep look on his face.

"I'm sorry for asking but I often told you about my problems and you always helpt me with them but I never heard you talking about your home."

"Hey Rin you have friends right, Finn and many more, right?"

"yes, kind of."

At that moment Alexander looked sad, for the first time that I knew him for, he turned his head towards me told me with a serious and sad expression on his face

"Keep them, I promise I'll get you out of this place no matter what, until then just hold tight."

I didn't want to ask him anything anymore, I felt like I sad something Wrong, only then did I realize I didn't know anything about him.
