This incident delayed her for first day at work but not that much. Her first day passed in blink of an eye she met her team head and he introduced her to her whole team, people whom she will be working with and he also explains her some rules and regulations and few other things it is already 7 in the evening and time to get off from work. She was walking rather scared down the lane when a car stop beside her which she didn't notice at first the car door open rather blocking her way she stopped and looked up she didn't even realize that she was clutching her bag so tightly that her knuckles was showing. She looked up and met with a pair of worried eyes. First she frowned and then she concentrated on that man face and then she recognize the man that man was Caleb standing right in front of her. Before she could ask him what was he doing here he asked her first " what happened to you Hayley?" she didn't get it why was he asking her something like that she gave him a questioning gaze after noticing her questioning gaze he answered " you look like you have seen a ghost Hayley." Well you appeared out of nowhere so it kind of given me a fright she thought and then another thought cropped up in her mind that it was her own carelessness that she didn't noticed his car stopping beside her . After composing herself she forced a smile and looked up to him and said " nothing I think I am just too tired and that is why I looked exhausted that is all." After hearing her response he heaved a sigh of relief and said " oh too bad you are exhausted from work." She looked at him with questioning gaze he know that his previous statement is kind of weird so he explained himself rather quickly " it is like this that Aaron is back and we are having a welcome back party sort of I mean it is just going to be all of us. So Keith said that you should meet Aaron today to and he also said that I shall pick you up as I am in this area for some work. So that's why I am standing right in front of you right now." Oh was all could Hayley reply after his explianation but she couldn't go to this gathering like this she needs to change her clothes and that going to take some time was it ok to make Caleb wait here or was it ok from him to be inside her home alone with her and why the hell Keith didn't even bother her telling about this gathering beforehand. Still in her thoughts she didn't realize that she was standing in daze in front of Caleb and put both of them in an awkward position. Caleb couldn't stand this any longer so he cleared his throat and it made Hayley came out from her revive she took a gulp and tell Caleb that she needed to change and Caleb smiled and tell her he was going to wait for her here in the car. Hayley felt bad for him and good that he realized that she was uncomfortable and didn't put her in tight spot and willingly says that he should wait for her in the car. People around her was becoming more generous or it was just her luck that in last month she keep meeting all the good people present in world either it is Sarah aunty or Keith and his friends or that Mr. stranger. His thought make Hayley smile again. She quickly got dressed as she knew that Caleb was waiting for her. She didn't knew where they were going so she opted for normal white top and black and white striped pants and studs in ears with little make up on her face.
Caleb lost in his own world when he saw Hayley's reflection in the rear view mirror although he had seen lots of beautiful women in his life but there was something about Hayley that tugged a string in his heart that he doesn't even knew existed before he saw her at the bar when Keith brought her along to meet them. She was silent but observant and her smile gave a soothing aura around her and her face was like that make you confined your deepest secret in her. She was not a breath taking beauty but she was someone who could make you lost track of time by her presence. As Caleb looking at her in the rear view mirror of his car he didn't realize that Hayley was standing beside the car and struggling with the car locks to open the car door when she realized that car being locked from inside and Caleb was not paying any attention to his surrounding she knocked on the window to get his attention. As Caleb felt that somebody knocked on the window he peeled of his gaze from mirror and looked at the window and there he saw her standing first he was in trance and then she knocked again shattering his revive completely and then he realized that she wants him to open the lock so she could get in .
