The northwest four towns, from north to south, were respectively Black Rye Town, Pyroxene Town, Gold Rush Town and Dragon Roar Town.

The Black Rye Town was the only region with a large area of fertile soil, which hadn’t been polluted by the negative energy. The agriculture here was developed since the entire four towns’ high-class agricultural products were all produced by this place.

The Pyroxene town nearby had many mid-to-low-range gem ores, which sometimes a few rare precious gems could be found among these. It was one of the four towns that offered people a chance to be filthy rich overnight. It was also the place that gathered the most adventurers and law-breakers. In other words, this place was considered to be the core of the Northwest four towns.

The Gold Rush Town nearby had gold-mines. Although the quality was low-end and the quantity was small, the glittering yellow charm of the Gold was irresistible. A lot of people who wanted to make their fortune had gathered here. Even though the majority of them were really poor, they had also made this town prosperous. In fact, the main production of the Gold Rush town was from the copper and iron mines.

The north pole of the northwest four towns was the Dragon Roar Town which was located in a pretty narrow mountain exit. Along the road was the barren mountain which produced all kinds of magic items from the smallest to the Giant Dragon type. Therefore, this town mainly produced all types of materials for the magic items. For the number of remains that had appeared because of these magic items, who would care?

Originally following the plan, Gerrard----or Sui Xiong---wanted to go to the Dragon Roar Town. They would go deep into the dragon cave, stay there, have a friendly discussion with the evil dragon “Cold Tyrant” who had brought countless troubles to the habitants here for more than fifty years and make it move its house. In return, they would take the bounty of 5,000 gold coins for succeeding the mission. However, right now, they had a more important matter to do.

Treasure Hunt.

“One is expelling the evil dragon and one is hunting treasure. Regardless of the options, both are very interesting, full of classic Western arcade game feel. Sui Xiong happily said, “The only problem is that which mission is more important? And... And this mission game system, is there a time limit or not?”

He didn’t worry about the “Mission’s failure” problem. After ten days of adjustment, he had finished altering this jellyfish body. With this body, he could display the greatest strength at any time.

Until that time, he just needed to use his full force to cope with as there was nothing to worry about!

The new form of Sui Xiong’s body was not that much different from a translucent balloon. It was so enormous that a village could be built on top of his body. His strong tentacles hung down from his body. There were dozens of spiral leaves distributing along his body that were providing propulsions in all directions. Dark power runs densely scattered throughout his body. All of these made this giant body easily float in the air, change its colors anytime, and create a flashing effect at the same time.

In other words, in this moment, Gerrard was in the Adventure Association office in the Gold Rush town. While Sui Xiong with his giant body, which could level the whole Gold Rush Town once he fell down, was floating two, three hundred meters above the sky. He squinted his eyes, enjoyed the mild breeze and the warmth from the sun. Conveniently, he sucked the endless dark power from the air and sunlight which helped enhance his power.

But in this Gold Rush Town, there was no one who could see that Giant Monster floating in the sky.

“If I want to get to the higher level, I have to practice every day and cannot slack off. Even if I can temporarily find the suitable opponent, at the very least I have to persistently keep the computer running. One thing you need to know is that ‘if you stop moving forward, you will fall backward’. Even though you used to be a professional, if you don’t practice, people will catch up and overtake you, even leave you a wide distance behind. It is like writing an online novel. After a one-year break, you will immediately discover that your popularity already declined tragically. The number of clicks couldn’t even reach the decimal. It is the precedent alarm. Don’t follow the track of an overturned cart!”

Inside the icy-cold stream that was cold enough to freeze a mortal person to death, the extremely enormous jellyfish sleepily yawned inaudibly.

He didn’t worry that Gerrard might be in danger; not to mention that big built body really knew how to fight. Even though Gerrard encountered a situation which he couldn’t handle, he still had the bone bracelet with the spirit that could help him.

“Dear sir, this is the reward for the ‘annihilating the Wolf Orc Legion’ mission.” The half-elf female officer of the Adventure Association brought up a metal piece with flickering dark power rays with both hands; her face was full of respect.

With his own strength, he could alone beat a bandit gang who had ravaged the Four Towns for many years. Such a man like this made people respect him. If it wasn’t for the huge difference in shapes, she even dared to think of seducing this young powerhouse. Even she couldn’t successfully fish up the long-term meal ticket, after they got married, she could give birth to a giant-bloodline descendant, which was also a very good thing!

In this world, bloodline inheritance was a very common thing. A powerhouse descendant would definitely be stronger than a normal descendant. As long as they tried, in addition to some lucks inherited from generation to generation, they could become a powerful family.

In the northwest four towns, the most influential existence was such a family like this. Although they normally hid in the dark and didn’t usually come out to avoid becoming a target of an attack, all the big organizations were full of respect toward them. They did not only discuss important affairs with them, but when they encountered a situation with great benefits, they didn’t dare to monopolize it for their own as they also came to them first.

The young female officer naturally didn’t hope that she would become an initiator for a big family; maybe this couldn’t stop her from daydreaming either.

Gerrard took the tablet engraved with the dark power runes and did a little check to see if the information was correct. He could trade this tablet at the Business God Shrine for 2,000 gold coins. He couldn’t help but smile when thinking about this.

Despite having a colossal fortune that he was having right now, easily getting another big amount of money made his mood lift up.

“I also want to recruit two people.” He said, “One is a thief specializing in setting traps, at the same time not believing in all the Night Gods. The other is a priesthood practitioner specializing in treatment, and the religion aspect is as above.”

The female officer’ eyeballs rolled around as she immediately understood and beamed a lovely smile: “You are looking for a comrade, right? Why not look for an experienced shaman?”

“A Shaman, we already have one.” Gerrard pointed at Palin who was sitting not far away from them and reading books, “Although he is still young, he is very trustworthy.”

The female officer looked closely at Palin several times and lightly shook her head. She had worked in the Adventure Association’s office for several years, so she had developed an unusual vision. This young Gnome shaman was very talented as well as very hard-working, but naturally, didn’t have many abilities.

Shamans were divided into two groups, academic group and real-combating group. The first one’s strength were their vast knowledge about magic and techniques as they were well-prepared to beat all the enemies in any circumstances. The last one’s strength was in the practical uses of magic as their fighting strength was known as surpassing the academic group by several blocks. Moreover this was not a brag, under some sudden outbursting situations, ten shamans of the academic group could be compared to one shaman from the real-combating group. Their expertises were different. It was also not necessary to distinguish the strength and weakness from each group.

There was no difference between the shamans. The gap lied in among the casters. At the first look, one obviously knew that this young Gnome Shaman didn’t have much experience; his storage was also very limited. Although they were completely not newbies, the gap between the title of “Experienced person” and “Fighting Shaman” was very big.

Hoping that this little rascal can be a big help in the critical moment was not practical!

“To be honest, I think you should find a seasoned caster.” She lowered her voice and continued saying, “Just in case bad things happen. Furthermore, I can help that young shaman learn some useful experiences from a senior. It’s killing two birds with one stone.”

Gerrard thought for a while and then accepted this offer.

“Wait a minute. I will help you collect materials and bring you a list of capable men who fit your requirements.”

“No need to be troublesome like this.” A reluctant laugh transmitted and a man in a light leather armor with a timeworn looking face came in, “This is a treasure hunt. That big fellow, that little shaman, and I, three people are enough.”

Gerrard was surprised for a moment as he turned his head around to look and discovered that this man was a little old. He couldn’t help but have doubts about this man. That female officer was suddenly frightened. She hurriedly lowered her head, seeming to be afraid that her surprised look may be discovered.

However, in fact, her expression was soon seen by Sui Xiong’s spirit.

“Gerrard, this old man is probably not a normal character. Be careful.”

“Yes, Highness!”

Seeing Gerrard’s stare, the old man was still very calm without having even the slightest trace of panic, “Call me Rennes, ‘Quick Man’ Rennes. I think this alias is enough to prove my ability. In these Four Towns, you absolutely cannot find a thief that is more skillful than me.”

Gerrard furrowed his brows, “Although this alias ‘Quick Man’ is powerful, it does not show the trap aspect. Are you a golden finger (pickpocket)? I want a trap expert.”

This world was not a game, so, of course, there was no level. The adventurer’s ability and reputation were usually judged by their aliases.

An alias was not self-sufficient since the association would base their judgment on the adventurer’s experience to make a list of aliases and then let one choose. These aliases were divided into different levels. From the alias, one could tell the experience of the adventurer as well as identify the strengths of each other.

The lowest adventurers didn’t have alias, just like Palin. They’d just joined the society; their abilities were not enough to get respect from other people. They also didn’t have achievements that could convince people. They were purely newbies.

After passing the newbie stage, these adventures would get the lowest-level aliases. These kinds of aliases were created based on their looks or special equipments, for example, the alias ‘Bald Head’ Nien was like that. It meant the adventurer had become famous and been considered a famous character. It also meant he didn’t have any achievements but a face.

The higher-level alias signified a more trustworthy achievement. That year, the alias of the leader of Gerrard’s adventure group was “Shoot Tiger”; it was also because he alone had killed a fierce tiger with his bow; this could prove his power. Similarly, there were also “Chase Wolf”, “Slash Bear”, so on...., all the proofs of military successes.

Like above, the adventurer’s expertises were wide-ranged. Among these adventurer’s aliases, there were some outstanding ones which could make a capable comrade. For instance, “Fast Blade”, his blade was definitely really fast. A normal newbie could only see a streak of his blade before having his head cut off. Another one was “Quick Feet” which must have meant escaping really quickly. There was almost no way to catch him if he ran away.

This old man with the alias “Quick Man” was also the same. His alias had proved his quick and skillful hands and that he was a first-class pickpocket. Yet, what Gerrard needed was someone who could help him look through traps and break such mechanisms. No matter how skillful that pickpocket was, he couldn’t help anything.

Facing Gerrard’s doubt, Rennes raised his brows and showed his arrogant face, “Little rascal, I can see that your knowledge about the Four Towns’ situation is not thorough! I chose the name ‘Quick Man’ not because I excel in stealing but because there is no second man in the Four Towns that could be quicker than me. No matter if it is stealing or breaking traps, it is still... fighting.”

While he was speaking, an icy light flared up. Six or seven daggers had already been set up disorderly on the land in front of them. Not to mention the female officer with average strength, even Gerrard himself couldn’t clearly see what on earth he had done.
