After Rennes’ identity was exposed, he was somewhat bewildered.

He couldn’t think that after being trapped in this cave and being hit by the Impassable Cloud Spell, the giant and little shaman didn’t lose their lives. Not even a strand of their hair was missing. These two could still jump jubilantly. Let alone, they even knew his true identity.

As soon as he thought of the fact that his lie was completely seen through, he felt like he was standing naked in the place full of ice, intensely cold bone-chilling.

What was the most scary thing in this world?

To a guy that worshiped “Secret” and “Cheating” like Rennes, the most scary thing was to be seen through.

Until now, he had used all kinds of secret methods and tricking schemes so as not to be seen through by other people. This made him feel secured, feel relaxed, feel like he was wearing a trustworthy armor.

But now, his scheme was no longer effective. His secret had already vanished…

“No…. It doesn’t go that far. Maybe, they just guessed a little bit…”

Rennes comforted himself like that. He then heard Gerrard’s sneer and rebuke.

“You really think deceiving your companions will help you earn some trust from the God of conspiracy and deceit, do you? Let me tell you, your religious God has soon been defeated!”

If the last sentence only made Rennes anxious and nervous, then this sentence made his eyes darken. He almost fainted when hearing this.

The God of Conspiracy didn’t abandon him but was defeated? !

There is obviously a God behind this damned giant, not to mention a might God!

Gosh…

In panic, he felt like his body was already dead. His spirit had left his body. He was falling to a bottomless abyss, slowly heading to the underworld, stepping into the hell. There was no way for him to turn back.

Meanwhile, a calmer cold voice resounded, waking him up from the despair.

“Enlarging Technique!”

The shaman, who had been silent all along, raised his hand, used the magic wand that helped him display magic to hit Gerrard.

The might dark power on Gerrard’s body surged out. In just a blink of an eye, the extremely sturdy and massive body of Gerrard suddenly doubled. The back of his neck heavily hit the ceiling of the cave.

A thumping sound echoed. The solid rock wall directly bumped into his head, even the whole upper body of his knocked against the wall. The rock wall was left with a hole. Right now, he was like a ferocious beast that had fallen into a trap, was stuck in the middle of the rock wall, couldn’t go up or down.

“You really think… This can hold me up!” His roar sounded like thunder, resounding inside the cave. The furious giant flaunted his terrorizing power. The cracking sounds of rock came up successively. A crack appeared on the big rock wall, which looked like it could collapse in any minute.

But it didn’t collapse. Due to the sentence “Get my back” of the shaman, another spell was suddenly launched.

On the top of his magic wand, a black light flashed out. This light was not glaring, on the contrary it appeared thin and slippery, like a band of black silk. Following his magic wand’s swing, the black “silk” rapidly expanded, in a blink turned in a huge circle.

The shaman put his hand on Gerrard’s thigh. He didn’t wait for the furious Gerrard to react, right away sealed the circle and locked Gerrard inside.

In the next moment, a gloomy dizziness arose inside the circle. Gerrard almost didn’t have time to react. As soon as he screamed out terrifyingly, he directly fell down.

The ground under his feet somehow had turned into a bottomless abyss, pulled him in. He instantly disappeared without a trace.

An angry growl transmitted over from the darkness. Before Gerrard could react, that Shaman had already deactivated the magic. The darkness suddenly vanished. If it wasn’t for the rustling sound of the falling fragments from the rock wall, it would be as if that Gerrard had never actually appeared in this place.

When the shaman launched the Enlarging Technique, Palin could feel something wrong. He wanted to block it but he was busy dealing with Rennes. He was merely a young shaman. To be able to fight against a seasoned high-level thief, he had to put all his mights into avoiding being killed. But he was still suppressed extremely miserably as before, could only manage to hold on reluctantly.

Therefore, he couldn’t prevent that shaman from casting the spell, just helpless seeing that shaman displaying the “Fading Mirage” magic, opening the transmission gate to the shadow space and throwing Gerrard into it.

In the next moment, the transmission gate was closed. Gerrard had fallen into the ghost surface, could never come back.

Palin was both anxious and furious but he couldn’t do anything. Right at this moment, he heard a voice coming from the bottom of his heart.

“I will lend you my power. Do not show mercy. Ruthlessly kill!”

Along with this voice, an unimaginably might power burst out from his body.

The young shaman swung up his wooden stick. It was clearly a mere wooden weapon but it could tear the air and produce ear-piercing sound.

Rennes, who originally got the upper hand, could only have time to dodge to one side. His shoulders were ruthlessly hit by the wooden stick. The sound of bone being crushing and other breaking sounds resonated simultaneously. After that, this old thief couldn’t resist this strike, heavily hit the rock wall beside.

Hence, after hearing the sound of bone being crushed, Rennes couldn’t even have time to shriek. He fainted right away after being hit by that mighty power.

Palin didn’t have time to be happy or surprised when seeing the effect of this strike. He hurriedly dashed toward the shaman, who had put Gerrard in the shadow space a moment ago.

He was very well aware that his magic-displaying ability was not worth mentioning when compared to the opponent’s. Hence, he basically didn’t chant the spell, directly used the remaining half of the wooden stick, brutally smashed the opponent.

The broken wooden stick brought along the intense scream, flying toward its target. The shaman rapidly activated the protection black art on his body. A white halo in a blink spread all over his body, turned him into some thing like rock. At the same time, the silhouette of the shaman became vague. It was as if distorted by the air around.

A clack sound came up. The wooden stick slammed on the rock wall, bounced against the wall and flung to the corner.

Palin was not surprised when seeing this. An experienced shaman would definitely have a wealth of protection spells in one’s body. For example, some high-level shamans he knew even had transmission spells binded with their bodies. Whenever they encountered any fierce attack, they would immediately launch the transmission spell to escape.

The life moral in the majority of the shamans was “Safety first”. As long as they could escape, they would have a future. No matter what they did, they had to survive by any means.

Therefore, there was a saying, which said that the most difficult creature in this life was not the Giant Dragon, which held a tremendous power, or the immortal Water Ghost, but a high-level shaman with an ordinary intelligence.

The power from the wooden stick was extraordinary. From the beginning, he also didn’t have high hopes that this thing could really hurt the opponent.

He just hoped it could create some hindrances to the opponent.

The wooden stick successfully completed the mission its owner had assigned to it, hindering that shaman for a while.

Most of its displayed power were all dispelled by the shaman. But after he dispelled them, he felt as if he had hit a wild buffalo, feeling dizzy. He couldn’t stand still, staggered back two steps.

At this moment, Palin was like a fierce tiger spurted in front of him. His right hand overflown with ice energy snapped toward the shaman.

The rippling silhouette was pierced through the hand full of ice energy, producing a sound of shattering glass. The vague silhouette of the shaman became clear again. Palin adjusted the direction of his right hand a little bit, crushed the gray stone barrier and grabbed the shaman’s neck.

The dense ice energy immediately transmitted to the shaman’s body through his hand. The shaman had lost his protection spell, didn’t have strength to fight back. He was immediately frozen to faint, becoming a luggage in Palin’s hand.

This short and intense fight came to an end. Both the shaman who had made difficulties for him and Rennes were defeated. Everything just happened in a few seconds.

Palin threw the fainted shaman to the ground, scattered the condensed ice energy on his hand, skeptically looked at his right hand.

Just now, he didn’t chant spells or display any magics. He just followed his instinct, condensed something similar to the mighty magic that only at least a mid-level shaman could be able to display. He used the condensed ice energy on his right hand to crush the protection spell of the shaman. The remaining ice energy he used to directly freeze the shaman———–such a powerful magic like this was not something a newbie shaman who just had two-year experience like him could be able to make.

He thought for a while, then exclaimed inside his head: “Highness, Hollow Mask Highness, is it you? Have you granted me he power?”

Few seconds passed. A vague voice that was as if from very far away interruptedly came up: “That’s right…. Palin, did you win? Really good… I’ll go find Gerrard… I entrust the matter on this side to you.”

Palin respectfully lowered his head to bow to the great God. After a while, that voice completely disappeared. He raised his head, looked around the battlefield.

Highness has gone to save Gerrard, who is being locked up in the shadow space, entrusted the matter of this side to me. Then I have to do well, can’t let Highness down!

“Uhm… Starting from this former senior companion, a thief who worships the God of Conspiracy. He has also persuaded some youngsters to willingly follow him along the way…”

About a half day later, an ice energy suddenly filled up the cave. After that, a distorted ray of blue light came up in the air, followed by a lot of bang bang sounds. There were many electricity sparks which looked like tons of crusing small fish.

After a few second, a blue light suddenly expanded, turned into a halo. Gerrard, whose body was full of ashes, strugglingly appeared while waving his ax that was stained with black blood. He coughed intensely. It took him a while before he could normally breathe again.

“Seems like you don’t have a fun trip to the shadow space.” On the other side, Palin who had been waiting for a long time smilingly said.

“Khak Khak… Right, terrible!” Gerrard answered with awry smile, “I apologize for my fighting. The calm and peaceful secluded life has made me set back. I shouldn’t have made those mistakes.”

“It is good enough that both of you are safe now.” Sui Xiong’s voice echoed in the air, “about handling Rennes and his accomplices, you two take care of that. I want to rest a little bit.”

After finishing, his voice became quiet.

Up high in the sky, the floating jellyfish used its tentacles to secure its body on a mountain. The vigorous dark power on his body gradually leveled off.

This time, Sui Xiong was really tired.
