Xyn came out of the gate then the guardians came out next.
He looked at the guardians.
"Let's move closer to them."
The guardians replied in affirmative.
Xyn set the destination of the gate a few distances from the town. That's because he doesn't want the opposition know they can use a teleportation gate. Also, because he thought walking to the town, and slowly shows themselves will make one hell of an entrance, which would make him and the guardians intimidating, especially when the people see there are only seven of them and they just easily wrecked their entire army and defenses.
When they finally got nearer the town, and they are close just enough for the human eyes to see them, Xyn saw the soldiers on the defenses began to tidy and tighten up, the humans have finally seen their presence.
Then they all stopped walking.
Xyn looked at his right. There he saw Sagremor, Agiel, and Xelya on his side.
Then he looked at his left. There he saw Criswell, Adrasteia and Brutus on his side.
Xyn smiled behind the mask.
He then peered onto the defenses of the opposition.
I first thought my minions would be taken out in the distance just because the enemy uses modern technology, but they were a disappointment, they had a hard time against my minions. I wonder what would happen if one of my guardians go all out on these guys, but I'm not here for just one person to have all the fun. Now then, how do I begin?
He thought for a few seconds then when he finally got an idea on how to start, he spread his arms.
"Greetings humans, we have come to finish what we started."
Xyn looked to the humans to see if he have their attention then he continued.
"I know you won against my army, for that, I must congratulate you. And also, thank you for giving your all in the prior battle."
After he said that, he thought.
Now that I've said that, they're probably confused why I thank them, hehehe.
Xyn chuckled inside his mind and continued.
"That was a good test run. It made a pretty good result for me."
Xyn thought that the soldiers may be thinking that he is being in denial or just making excuses in his loss, but Xyn just giggled inside his mind. He does not need to make a big deal out of it.
He then continued.
"Now then, let us be done with the small talks. We will attack you once again, and this time it will only be the seven of us."
Xyn doesn't want to wait any longer, he wants to get straight to the action. Also, he's running out of words to say anyway, he doesn't want to look like an idiot that can't talk properly in the middle of everything.
They're probably saying like 'Oh, no way they could fight against us!' or 'He's kidding' or 'He must be stupid!' for some reason it felt hilarious just thinking about it.
Xyn thought as he smiled behind the mask and he continued.
"However, I will give you a handicap. I will give you a chance to attack us with everything you have and we will stand here straight and still."
He said that because he wanted to at least give them a chance to attack him and the guardians. Of course, that was because he has something to test, and also because he wants to see their reactions if it all ended well.
They might be confused now, but that's expected.
Xyn thought as he closely looked unto the people in front of him.
"Now, Let us begin. Attack us with everything at your disposals, humans!"
Xyn was excited and spread his arms as he said that.
He expects them to shoot with everything they got.

However, he felt a cold wind blowing past him with a profound silence. Several seconds has past and it's still cold and silent and he furrowed his brows.
He looked to the opposition and what he saw caused his eyebrows to rise. The opposition was not doing anything, they were not even moving a muscle.
At this moment he started to feel a bit worried and nervous and also a bit embarrassed.
Why are they not doing anything?
Xyn thought to himself as he peered into the opposition.
He doesn't understand why they are not doing anything. He even said his previous words with energy and warmth, and he acted like he was welcoming it. But the outcome he got was not he expected. He expected that they would attack in their earnest after he says that like a theatrical scene, but no, it was nothing like that at all.
Don't tell me… is this how performers feel when the crowd is silent as the void. It makes me feel like a 'booooo' is better than silence.
Xyn thought then he forced himself to ask.
"Will you not attack?"
He said while feeling a bit tense.
What did I do wrong? Hmmm... wait. Do they want to be provoked? It seems like provoking them is necessary… Damn this is embarrassing.
He thought to himself and resisted the urge to cover his face with his hand, perhaps of disappointment or embarrassment or both.
Then he decided he has to do something in order to provoke them.
Xyn thought for a second and an imaginary light bulb appeared atop his head.
He looked to this left then the guardians looked at him, sensing that he looked at them. Then he pointedly looked at Adrasteia, he wears a mask so probably they won't see him looking specifically at someone, but that's fine, they'll know who is being ordered. Of course, he can't say anybody's name for the sake of keeping their identity, but as said the guardians will know who is being ordered.
"Conjure a rifle and shoot anyone you like to kill among them."
Criswell and Brutus looked at Adrasteia indicating they understood who is being ordered.
Adrasteia turned her body to face Xyn and bowed. Then she returned to face the enemies in front.
A sniper rifle then appeared on her hands. It has a very sophisticated design and was significantly customized, and it looked like a rifle from the future. The sniper has a black primary color and gold secondary color.
She put her eye to the scope and in a second she pulled the trigger and a light blue projectile spat out of the rifle and flew in a swift then in an instant it killed her target.
She was able to take out a target cleanly for like a second. This was expected for she was created to be this great – she's greatly skilled in using that kind of weapons.
Then after several seconds later after the body of the killed soldier fell to the ground, he said.
"I trust you are all provoked now. So what is your response?"
As he looked at the opposition, he saw dumbfounded faces and at the same time, some have angry expressions.
Looks like it snapped a nerve, haha.
Xyn said and chuckled in his mind.
Then he saw the people finally started to move.
Weapons being pointed at them and with faces of killing intent.
The cannons atop the wall are being rotated and adjusted to point at him and the guardians.
However, he noticed something and that caused one of his eyebrows to rise.
Is it me? Or a whole lot of them are aiming at me. Hahaha, can it be that they're angry at me for what just happened, fascinating...

He then noticed that everything started to tense up, it seems everything is starting to heat up.
After a few seconds, every weapon of the enemy fired.
As the enemies' attacks are flying to him and the guardians, Xyn said in his mind.
