He looked to his right where he saw Xelya then he turned his head to the left and saw Sagremor.
This will be too easy for us, so there is no need to worry. Still, that doesn't mean we must lower our guard.

The master has said to hold back a lot so that means the enemies are indeed weaklings. The opposition's previous attacks also proved that they pose no threat at all.

Hmmm, I wonder why the master would want us to hold back against them. Won't it be quicker to just annihilate them immediately, but why slowly destroy them?

But for what reason is destroying this town with all guardians and will have to hold back.

It would be good if they are going to let themselves be killed after all the master intended to destroy this town along with its people so letting themselves be killed will be like sacrificing their lives for the supreme one. However, the master does not seem to want them just cower but wanted them to fight back.
If this keeps up, Lord Xyn will be unsatisfied.

Inferior beings like humans should live their lives to satisfy the Supreme Being and doing the opposite is only displeasing.
Agiel contemplated what he could do to have the necessary outcome.
Fear is what makes them freeze, and fear itself is hard to remove. He and the others are also the reason why the soldiers are afraid.
There is also some other way. One way would be to give the soldiers some morale to give them the resolve to fight back, but the guardians can't give as such. The other would be to give them encouragement or motivation, but that is up to the soldiers themselves to give or have that.
Still, Agiel has to at least think of a way to have the outcome the master expects. However, nothing comes in mind except for talking to them in a warrior's way like telling them a soldier should not act like and they're being cowards rather than soldiers or something like that.

"Soldiers! Muster some courage, the courage to defend our home, the courage to bring peace to us once again. Do not let fear consume you! The enemies are in front of us, which mean we can shoot them. Do not let them do what they want! Our peaceful lives will return when they are gone, so soldiers, fight until your last breath, do not lose hope! Fight for your friends and family!"
Of course, he can hear it, the guardians have superhuman abilities – or it should be said all of Xyn's creations have superhuman abilities. But not all of the abilities are of great extent like the hearing.

The soldiers held their weapons firmly eager to kill their enemies even if it means death to them. After every soldier is ready, a high ranking officer in the soldiers' ranks gave the order.
"FIRE!"
Every soldier pulled the trigger and countless bullets and magic particles flew from their weapons to Agiel, of course, he did nothing but stood straight and still.
Before the projectiles could touch his clothes, the bullets simply fell to the ground and the magic particles disappeared into nothingness.
Agiel casually looked around like he doesn't care at all that countless projectile intended to kill him are hitting him and humans glaring and looking at him with killing intent. Agiel does not need to care about petty humans, but only for the interests of his master.
He saw first Xelya on his right direction quite a distance from him.
Xelya looked like an innocent little girl that looked like just happened to be walking by, and the humans not knowing she will leave no trace of anyone she touches.
Agiel smiled when thinking that the humans are being fooled by destruction herself.
I should say she's doing very well in fooling the humans, I commend her for that. Her power is too much for humans to handle, so she will be fine handling them. However, her power is vast, she must have to hold back in a tremendous amount just not to accidentally annihilate the entire defenses.

Xelya is more potent than Agiel. He can take out this entire place with himself but he would need time, but for Xelya it will be too easy, she just might able to destroy this entire land with just one spell. It's as though she's destruction herself.
Then Agiel looked to his right seeing Sagremor quite a distance from him.
Sagremor destroyed the tank with his skill and shooting blades to the humans.
He shouldn't keep attacking the humans with that method, it's a waste of mana even if those skills just cost a little. But I believe he knows that.

Sagremor was only able to take out a few enemies just by shooting his sword around, so a going melee would be the ideal method.
After that, he returned his sights to the humans in front of him while still paying no heed to the projectiles flying towards him.
"They finally look warmer. Then it is time to act."
Agiel started to stroll forward towards the humans then he used a skill.
"[Hands of Punishing Blaze] ."
Red flames began to cover both of Agiel's hand and it was surprisingly blazing calmly.
The soldiers were a bit surprised in seeing that kind of calm flames. A wind is slowly blowing but the flames were not disturbed by it, and the flames were on the man's hands but he wasn't in pain and his hands were not burned – and it's odd.
Agiel got closer to the sandbags of where the humans are taking cover. Then he flourished his right hand inward then outward and a wave of red flames formed and coming towards the humans.
As the wave of red flames hit the humans even just a little they suffered.
"AAAAAAAH!"
"AAAAUUUUUUHH!
"AAARRRRRGGGGG"!
"UUUUAAAAAGH!
The soldiers screamed and wailed in extreme agony as the flames of punishment touched them.
The soldiers felt like millions of degrees of flames burned them and the pain is incomprehensible, nothing that they have felt before nor the suffering and pain they ever wished to feel.
After that they died as their spark of life is gone.
But what's shocking about it is that the soldiers got hit by the flames were not burned – not physically that is. The other soldiers were confused by this and trying to come out of an explanation.
The reason the soldiers don't have any physical burns was because the flames of punishment or flames of purgatory only burn the soul. It's like when a person dies and their soul will be sent to the land of purgatory where flames of punishment are blazing greatly and the soul there will suffer as their sins are being cleansed and turn the soul pure before one could go to heaven.
However, imagining they first suffered in the living world and then they died by Agiel's flames then get sent to the purgatory and suffer there once again is just cruel or maybe more than cruel.
The ones who were completely covered and were not touched by the flames were lucky, but that won't last long.
Agiel casually jumped over the sandbags and gently landed.
Then the soldiers rapidly shooting him, but of course, they are nothing.
Agiel flourished his hand again and a wave of flames formed hitting several soldiers.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!"

Agiel turned around and saw a human soldier with a frightened face.
As the soldier saw Agiel turned around to face him, the soldier shrugged and was stepping back in panic. However in his panic, he tumbled, and frantically tried to stand back up, but before he could fully stand something clutched his face.
Agiel clutched the soldier and lifted him up leaving the soldier's body dangling, and the soldier screamed in agony.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Agiel gripped the soldier's head with his hand covered in flames but the physical body has not burned.
In contrast, Agiel can indeed use the flames of purgatory to hurt the soul, but he also has other abilities that can damage physically.
As the life of the soldier has been taken, Agiel let go of the soldier's body and let it fell to the ground.

He continued to move onward advancing to the humans and make them feel the flames of punishment, the flames which bring agony and great suffering.
Just then a particular bang rang out from the top of the wall, and something hit Agiel.
A bit surprised he shifted his sight to the wall.
He saw many soldiers firing their weapons at him and to the other guardians included.
The cannons atop the wall are not firing of course because of a right reason, and Agiel knows this.
That's because if the cannons try to engage him and the guardians, the human soldiers might get caught up in the blast resulting in killing them.
Then Agiel thought of a single bullet that hit him just now.
Hmmm, the attack just now, it seems strong. It felt like it almost able to pass through my protection… Doesn't matter, its level of attack is still not enough to break through my defenses, so that is fine.
So Agiel continued and kill the humans in flames which bring despair, agony, and punishment, paying no heed to the numerous attacks that were coming for him.

He and the others are also the reason why the soldiers are afraid.There is also some other way. One way would be to give the soldiers some morale to give them the resolve to fight back, but the guardians can't give as such. The other would be to give them encouragement or motivation, but that is up to the soldiers themselves to give or have that.Still, Agiel has to at least think of a way to have the outcome the master expects. However, nothing comes in mind except for talking to them in a warrior's way like telling them a soldier should not act like and they're being cowards rather than soldiers or something like that.Agiel stopped walking and looked to the humans.How should I do it, I'm no warrior to say how one should be a warrior.Agiel thought.He pondered for a moment and suddenly someone spoke out loud."Aren't you supposed to be soldiers? However, something that is from the enemy would not be enough to give them the motivation to fight.As Agiel is of a different group and is seen by the humans as an enemy, he won't be able to grow the fire. If the humans can't find their resolve to fight, they all might end up dying without resistance and Agiel presumes it would give an unsatisfying result to his master.Agiel doesn't want his master to be disappointed.Then he heard a voice mixed in a little static from the soldiers' ranks."Soldiers! After every soldier is ready, a high ranking officer in the soldiers' ranks gave the order."FIRE!"Every soldier pulled the trigger and countless bullets and magic particles flew from their weapons to Agiel, of course, he did nothing but stood straight and still.Before the projectiles could touch his clothes, the bullets simply fell to the ground and the magic particles disappeared into nothingness.Agiel casually looked around like he doesn't care at all that countless projectile intended to kill him are hitting him and humans glaring and looking at him with killing intent. Agiel does not need to care about petty humans, but only for the interests of his master.He saw first Xelya on his right direction quite a distance from him.Xelya looked like an innocent little girl that looked like just happened to be walking by, and the humans not knowing she will leave no trace of anyone she touches.Agiel smiled when thinking that the humans are being fooled by destruction herself.I should say she's doing very well in fooling the humans, I commend her for that. Her power is too much for humans to handle, so she will be fine handling them. However, her power is vast, she must have to hold back in a tremendous amount just not to accidentally annihilate the entire defenses.Agiel thought.Xelya is more potent than Agiel. He can take out this entire place with himself but he would need time, but for Xelya it will be too easy, she just might able to destroy this entire land with just one spell. It's as though she's destruction herself.Then Agiel looked to his right seeing Sagremor quite a distance from him.Sagremor destroyed the tank with his skill and shooting blades to the humans.He shouldn't keep attacking the humans with that method, it's a waste of mana even if those skills just cost a little. But I believe he knows that.Agiel thought.Sagremor was only able to take out a few enemies just by shooting his sword around, so a going melee would be the ideal method.After that, he returned his sights to the humans in front of him while still paying no heed to the projectiles flying towards him."They finally look warmer. Then it is time to act."Agiel started to stroll forward towards the humans then he used a skill."Hands of Punishing Blaze ."Red flames began to cover both of Agiel's hand and it was surprisingly blazing calmly.The soldiers were a bit surprised in seeing that kind of calm flames. A wind is slowly blowing but the flames were not disturbed by it, and the flames were on the man's hands but he wasn't in pain and his hands were not burned and it's odd.Agiel got closer to the sandbags of where the humans are taking cover. Then he flourished his right hand inward then outward and a wave of red flames formed and coming towards the humans.As the wave of red flames hit the humans even just a little they suffered."AAAAAAAH!""AAAAUUUUUUHH!"AAARRRRRGGGGG"!"UUUUAAAAAGH!The soldiers screamed and wailed in extreme agony as the flames of punishment touched them.The soldiers felt like millions of degrees of flames burned them and the pain is incomprehensible, nothing that they have felt before nor the suffering and pain they ever wished to feel.After that they died as their spark of life is gone.But what's shocking about it is that the soldiers got hit by the flames were not burned not physically that is. The other soldiers were confused by this and trying to come out of an explanation.The reason the soldiers don't have any physical burns was because the flames of punishment or flames of purgatory only burn the soul. It's like when a person dies and their soul will be sent to the land of purgatory where flames of punishment are blazing greatly and the soul there will suffer as their sins are being cleansed and turn the soul pure before one could go to heaven.However, imagining they first suffered in the living world and then they died by Agiel's flames then get sent to the purgatory and suffer there once again is just cruel or maybe more than cruel.The ones who were completely covered and were not touched by the flames were lucky, but that won't last long.Agiel casually jumped over the sandbags and gently landed.Then the soldiers rapidly shooting him, but of course, they are nothing.Agiel flourished his hand again and a wave of flames formed hitting several soldiers."AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!""AAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!""AAAAAUUUUUUUUUH!""UUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWW!"Soldiers cried in extreme agony that they never wished to experience and later on fell to the ground for their body is now but an empty shell.Then someone shot Agiel from behind multiple times.Agiel turned around and saw a human soldier with a frightened face.As the soldier saw Agiel turned around to face him, the soldier shrugged and was stepping back in panic. However in his panic, he tumbled, and frantically tried to stand back up, but before he could fully stand something clutched his face.Agiel clutched the soldier and lifted him up leaving the soldier's body dangling, and the soldier screamed in agony."AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!"Agiel gripped the soldier's head with his hand covered in flames but the physical body has not burned.In contrast, Agiel can indeed use the flames of purgatory to hurt the soul, but he also has other abilities that can damage physically.As the life of the soldier has been taken, Agiel let go of the soldier's body and let it fell to the ground.Agiel looked around and thought.There's still numerous of them, that means there are still many who needs to taste the flames of purgatory.Agiel had a sinister smile behind the mask.He continued to move onward advancing to the humans and make them feel the flames of punishment, the flames which bring agony and great suffering.Just then a particular bang rang out from the top of the wall, and something hit Agiel.A bit surprised he shifted his sight to the wall.He saw many soldiers firing their weapons at him and to the other guardians included.The cannons atop the wall are not firing of course because of a right reason, and Agiel knows this.That's because if the cannons try to engage him and the guardians, the human soldiers might get caught up in the blast resulting in killing them.Then Agiel thought of a single bullet that hit him just now.Hmmm, the attack just now, it seems strong. It felt like it almost able to pass through my protection Doesn't matter, its level of attack is still not enough to break through my defenses, so that is fine.So Agiel continued and kill the humans in flames which bring despair, agony, and punishment, paying no heed to the numerous attacks that were coming for him.
