Criswell walked towards the human defenses then she took a sword from her inventory that was given to her by her master and creator.

The sword has colors matching her set of armor. The blade is named the "Divine Blade of Providence."

As she walks closer she noticed something on the deepest eyes of the human soldiers that anyone would perhaps easily notice.

What can be noticed in their eyes was fear.

Criswell understood this though.

Any inferior being would fear something that is superior and more powerful than them, especially when one saw their power even for just a little.

This is just how Criswell felt when she got a little feeling of her master's power, it's just not her but also the other created ones.

Of course, even if they felt a little of fear to their master, the guardians, and the others still love him, greatly love him, and the created ones also felt that their master also loves them back. Their master has never been abusive or treated them badly instead he treats them kindly, thus, this absolutely means that their master loves them.

However the soldiers' fears were not all focused on their master but also to the guardians, and Criswell knows this.

As Criswell and her allies are getting close to the humans, the humans seem to be not doing anything but stare at her and the other guardians.

Are they not planning to attack us?

She thought.

The soldiers were not even moving an inch or a muscle.

Criswell also thought that perhaps they're acting like this is because what just happened is not something they have seen before and so sudden and so shocking that it gave fear to the soldiers that is just enough to make them freeze.

Criswell looked to her left and there she saw Adrasteia first. Adrasteia also looked at Criswell back indicating she also noticed the fear and freezing of the human soldiers.

A few steps later Criswell stopped walking and Adrasteia followed. Adrasteia also looked to her left and saw Brutus. Then Brutus also looked back at Adrasteia and he also stopped walking.

This isn't right. This is not how these humans should act.

Criswell thought.

Indeed, this is not how the human soldiers should act. Their master seems like he wants the soldiers to attack them for some reason.

Something must be done to make them act the way they should be. They must provide the appropriate result that Lord Xyn desires.

Criswell thought.

She doesn't know what could be the reason why her master is doing all of these. However, there is no need to question it. All she has to do is to follow all of her master's answer, even if leads to her death or even she needs to be sacrificed. She will follow her absolute master's command.

I don't know what he seeks to gain from this. But it doesn't matter, all I need to do is follow the master. I will follow you everywhere, my lord. I will do anything for you… everything and anything for you. Whether you become frail and weak, I won't abandon you, I will always follow you no matter what end.

Criswell thought from the bottom of her heart.

She will follow her master no matter the circumstances. She's willing to be a servant of her master forevermore and, willing to be referred to as a slave of her master and ready to be one.

Then she pondered on how to make the humans act on how they should be.

I wonder how I should do it. Perhaps speak about how being a soldier should be. But am I really in a position to say like that?

She shifted her sight to Adrasteia.

Hmmm… Adrasteia could say something like that, after all, she is a soldier. Still, it looks like she's thinking about the same thing that there need to be a speaking about being a soldier, as expected of the general. Well, she is a soldier like those humans.

Criswell thought.

Suddenly there was a shout coming from her right in a few distances from her.

"Aren't you supposed to be soldiers? Then be one, fight the enemy right in front of you, be the warrior that you are, or is it that you people chose to be cowards instead? Then there's no point in you for being soldiers. You have no place to go, no escape, so there's no choice but to fight!"

She immediately turned her head to look at the source of the sound.

Sagremor? Hmmm… I guess that will do.

Criswell thought.

She returned her sight to the humans in front of her and observed them keenly.

The humans seem to have a bit of puzzled expression on their faces.

Judging on the distance of Sagremor's shout, they should have barely heard his words, but still, it should be enough to at least understand what he is saying. Perhaps that's why they have that expression on their faces.

After a few moments, a voice came from the ranks of the soldiers.

"Soldiers! Muster some courage, the courage to defend our home, the courage to bring peace to us once again. Do not let fear consume you! The enemies are in front of us, which means we can shoot them. Do not let them do what they want! Our peaceful lives will return when they are gone, so soldiers, fight until your last breath, do not lose hope! Fight for your friends and family!"

The voice came from the radios of the human soldiers, it seems to be a high ranking officer – their general.

Of course, she can hear the voice from the radios – the guardians have a superhuman hearing to an extent after all.

Hearing the encouraging words and voice, the faces of the soldiers began to lighten up.

Then the soldiers shouted.

"YEEEEAAAAAHH!"

"WE"LL FIGHT UNTIL THE END!"

"FOR OUR FAMILY!"

"WE WILL NOT GIVE UP!"

"OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!"

Numerous soldiers shouted to show their resolve to fight until the end.

Really now? Then, good.

Criswell thought then she smiled under her helm.

Now that the humans have the resolve to fight back, she continued to walk forwards towards the human defenses. With that said, the other guardians also moved forward.

As she approaches she expanded he wings a bit just to warm up and stretch a little.

When the human soldiers saw her expand her wings, they were stunned and astonished by the sight.

Her wings were so majestic, magnificent and breathtaking. The soldiers gazed at her majestic form, the slender figure she has only increased their astonishment, but it was the wings that stood up the most.

He golden wings were so beautiful – no beautiful won't be enough to describe her wings – many words could help describe her pair of golden wings, for instance majestic, magnificent, breathtaking, glamorous, graceful, stunning, exquisite and divine. It was as though a goddess was approaching the humans, a goddess that they would gladly worship and serve, a goddess that they would do anything just to satisfy her desire and needs.

Her wings were just enough to make the humans gawk at her because of her majestic form, too bad for them, they are going to DIE.

As Criswell was getting close to the soldiers, sounds of guns and tanks firing started to sound out on Criswell's right side direction. Because of that some of the soldiers began to return to their senses – that this is a battlefield. Some soldiers shook their head and said something like "they're the enemy, they must be shot down."

Then one of the high ranking officers within the ranks of the soldiers said when he finally realized that they are indeed must be shot down.

"E-Everyone! They're the enemy! Shoot them down! Fi—."

"[Searing Divine Light]."

A beam of golden light interrupted the officer – well that is because he's dead.

Criswell cast one of her spells then an illuminating and ravishing magic circle appeared on her left hand after she extended her arm towards the humans. Then a large bright beam of light came out of the circle and headed towards the humans, obliterating everything in its path, the divine light burned everything to ash.

With that said, it also took out a large part of the human's defenses.

Of course, Criswell held back the output of her magic to ensure that numerous humans won't get annihilated in a single attack – also, it was because her master ordered to hold back.

She continued walking forward when suddenly a tank opened fire and hit Criswell covering her vision with smoke from the explosion.

But it gave no trouble to Criswell, she casually swept away the smoke with her left hand. However, she was a bit annoyed by it so she decided to take the tank out immediately before it could attack her again.

"[Light Blast]."

She extended her hand then cast a spell and a ball as big as her palms flew from her hand to the tank. As the ball of holy light touched the tank it instantly exploded with a bright light obliterating the armored vehicle.

With no annoying tank to keep shooting her, she pressed onward.

She reached the destroyed defenses of the soldiers and she was greeted warmly.

Countless attacks came flying towards her, as expected the attacks were more than before when she was far from the defenses. With she breached the defenses, numerous soldiers tried to shoot her down as well as some soldiers on the wall, however, this is nothing for Criswell. No matter how hard they try, no matter how much they try, their attacks are nothing.

She gripped her sword firmer and readied herself to swing her blade. She looked around for a target and when she did she charged towards a soldier. In an instant the target was already cut in half, it happened so incredibly fast for a naked eye to follow, however, she did not stop there.

She immediately moved to another human soldier and swung her blade killing the soldier in an instant. She kept moving to another target and merely for a few seconds she was able to take out multiple human soldiers. Of course, she was holding back so she wasn't able to take out a lot more than she did.

Several soldiers gathered behind her opened fire. Rapid fire of bullets and magic particles flew towards her but before those could hit her majestic golden wings the bullets fell to the ground and the magic particles disappeared.

She turned to her back facing the humans shooting her and she said.

"You humans are persistent indeed."

What came through the ears of the human soldiers was a relaxing and gentle voice. Even when she talked under her helm her beautiful could still be heard clearly.

Her voice was like of a goddess'. Her voice was like a gentle beautiful music that would make someone hear it feel peaceful and calm. More words could describe it like the word tender, sweet, and benevolent. One could hear her voice for every moment of one's life. With that said, the humans imagined she could be a very beautiful lady under the helm, and during the fight, they wanted to at least get a glimpse of that extraordinary beauty.

However, they could never hope to achieve that.

In an instant, Criswell reached one of the soldiers in the group and annihilated him, after that she continued to move on to a different target and mercilessly killed every single one.

Then another group fired at her from behind, there were a lot of them than the prior group. Several magic weapons and bullet weapons came firing towards here, but there's another weapon more powerful than the prior guns.

One of the soldiers were carrying a high caliber machine gun and pointed the weapon at Criswell, and countless bullets from it came flying towards her. Of course, the weapon has no effect whatsoever.

She turned to face the group of human soldiers then she extended her hand towards them.

"[Light Blast]."

A ball of light flew from Criswell's hand towards the soldiers. When the ball of light hit the ground, an explosion in the form of light occurred.

After that, there are still many soldiers around her that were still fighting in their earnest.

She smiled under the helm.

Keep fighting for the sake of my master's satisfaction, humans.

Criswell said in her mind.

Then she engaged every enemy that she saw.
