He rushed towards her and immediately sat on the couch beside his wife and placed his hand over her shoulders.

Lisa turned her head to look at John with a tender smile on her face.
"It's alright, it's for the order after all. Besides, watching television kept me entertained."

John turned to look at the television. Then Lisa closely looked at him and noticed that he was a bit sad and disappointed, and she wondered why.
"So what is your meeting about?"
After hearing his wife's question, John lowered his head and sighed.
"Well, it seems I have to leave the country for a while."
"Hm? Why?"
"There was a strange thing that happened to a country in Russia. We suspect that it may be an event caused by an unusual being."
"So you're going to Russia. Is that the reason why you look so down?"

Lisa held John's cheek and tenderly smiled at him to put him on ease.
"It's alright. If you need to go, then go. After all, if you don't go there, the world might end, and I won't be able to be with you and our son anymore."

Zoey looked at her father slicing the ingredients, she felt amused because she thinks of this scene as cute. Seeing her father do this is such a rare sight.

"Ah! Nothing father, I just find it cute seeing you prepare the ingredients."

Zoey and her mother looked at each other and giggled then her mother said to her father.

"What you're going to be facing are creatures with powers to an unknown extent. How could I feel relaxed while I know you're going to be facing something like that?"

"That's, that's because I thought this won't be the time such creatures might appear. Of course, me also hoping you won't have to face such creatures made me not to worry too much."

The one who spoke was a woman wearing a maid uniform, well that is because she is a maid of the house.

Then Maya went to the living room to see her father. When she reached the room, there was a man with white hair sitting on the couch watching some movies on the tv while drinking wine.

"So, what happened in Yusorga?"
"Well, strange things happened in there. Like ghost-like things appeared from the sky and announced they'll be attacking the town."
"Strange things? Hm, so Vincent presumes that it might be a being that can ravage the world?"
"Yes. And I think it is highly possible that it might be. It's the end of the cycle after all."
"Hm, then why in a hurry? Is the attack too soon?"
"Ah, yes, actually we have a day and a half before they attack."
"A day and a half? Would you be able to reach there in time? Especially when obviously the government will be on high alert."
