Xyn Draven Nightfall, the embodiment of darkness, the supreme one, the almighty creator, and the Dark Lord. The absolute master of the six guardians and the other created ones.
He was on his way to his office on the third floor. He got to the office's door, and he inhaled deeply and stood straight.
As a master, he needs to do actions befitting of a ruler. When he enters the room he needs to show his superiority because his loyal servants are waiting inside. He needs to have a dignity of a ruler, thus he must act like all high and mighty.
He opened the door and went inside.
He saw the guardians lined up. On the left were Criswell, Adrasteia, and Sagremor. While on the right were Brutus, Xelya and Agiel. Then there was a space on the middle for their master to walk through.
When the guardians saw him, they immediately kneeled.
"Rise guardians."
The guardians stood up.
Xyn moved a few steps and stopped near the guardians' front.
"Now then guardians, as you already know this is the day to finally attack that town of humans. So are you all ready to watch them desperately fight?"
"Yes we are Lord Xyn, we are all excited to see those lower life forms struggle as they fight against your forces." Criswell said.
"Now I will finally get to see some fighting." Sagremor said while putting his fist on the palm of his hand.
"We should just not watch the fighting but also learn from the master's plan of attack." Adrasteia said.
"I agree." Agiel said.
Brutus nodded his head in agreement.
"Yeah, I know. But you're so cold sometimes Adrasteia, and too serious. You should warm up a bit."
Adrasteia then coldly looked to Sagremor out of the corner of her eyes.
Sagremor shrugged as Adrasteia looked at him.
"Woah, don't look at me like that."
After that, someone voiced out.
"He's right, Adrasteia."
When Adrasteia heard that, she instantly looked to her master.
Xyn approached her and he extended his hand.
Xyn put his hand on Adrasteia's left cheek softly and caressed it. When he did that, Adrasteia twitched.
"You don't have to be so serious always, my beautiful general."
After Xyn said that, he saw Adrasteia's face turn red with her eyes wide open. Her usual stiff face softened.
Is she blushing? That's adorable.
"You should smile sometimes and it should greatly increase your beauty."
Adrasteia opened her mouth a little for a moment and closed it back. And after a few seconds she said.
"Y-yes."
Then Adrasteia slowly moved her mouth and smoothly formed a fitting and pretty smile.
"There you go… Now you look even more beautiful than ever."
Xyn did create her that way, but sometimes there are some things that are not expected to be. Adrasteia has been always serious and always have a stiff face. It's sometimes good that some parts of his creations can change in a right way.
Xyn removed his hand on Adrasteia's cheek and slowly walked to his chair.
As Xyn remove his hand Adrasteia lowered her head slightly while smiling beautifully.
Xyn was walking to his chair and he heard the guardians talk behind him.
"That's not fair Adrasteia, the master just caressed you. And you even got praise from him, that's not fair… I wonder when Lord Xyn would do something like that to me…" Criswell said.
"Y-yeah… I feel kind of jealous…" Xelya said.
Adrasteia frantically looked to the both of them.
"— A-ah… E-eh… U-um…" Adrasteia stuttered.
Xyn smiled proudly as he sat on his chair.
They're jealous huh. I should say that was quite intriguing to hear. Is that what loyal servants want? Praise from their master… I should take note on that.
Xyn looked to the male guardians and keenly observed them.
They seemed to be fine. It seems that the females are only affected. Hmm, I should say something.
"Criswell..."
Xyn called to her and she looked to her master.
"You look beautifully brighter today."
"R-really?! Hihihi" Criswell chuckled.
When Criswell heard Xyn's compliment, she blushed and held both her hand together while her body seems to be trembling a little.
That little compliment did it!?
Criswell's actions were not expected. It was just a short and simple compliment, and the effects it had surprised Xyn. Normally when Xyn compliment the ladies that way they just nod and say something positive.
Then Xyn moved his eyes to the other one.
"Xelya…"
Xelya shrugged maybe in surprise.
"Y-yes?"
"You… look cuter today, but you can be even more when you smile."
Her eyes widened for a second and she smiled tenderly.
Then Xelya pressed her staff on her and it seems like she was hugging it. Also her face turned a little red.
Well that worked. Hmmm?
Xyn looked to Criswell and then to Xelya back and forth.
I can understand Criswell acting that way, but Xelya I can't. Wait, probably because she's a kid and that was an effect when a young child is complimented by her parent. Yeah it seems like that.
Xelya is a one hundred year old elf but she is like a ten year old child. Xyn as her creator means that he himself is like a father to Xelya, which is why it has that kind of effect.
Looks like my words to her had a big impact.
Xyn glance at the male guardians and saw all of them smiling. They looked like they were smiling because of amusement to the girls' reaction.
Those guys… haaah. Alright, let's get to the main topic.
"Now then, let's take a look at the place."
Xyn held out his hand and cast a divination spell. Then a giant monitor appeared on front of Xyn and just has enough distance for all the guardians to watch and see.
What the monitor displayed was a bird's eye view of a large town enveloped by big and tall walls. Multiple weapons were installed on the walls, armed personnel walking and standing around the wall and the installed guns.
Xyn moved his fingers from inward to outward and the viewing of the monitor changed. It zoomed to a side of the wall. There he saw that there were thick securities on that side of the wall with multiple turrets installed and more men holding what seems like powerful weapons.
"As I thought. Hmmm, there's a lot. But, my units should to be enough to give a good result." Xyn said.
"The humans are wasting their efforts." Agiel said.
"No they are not, I actually appreciate their efforts."
"Why is that?"
"They are giving their all for the fight. With that much effort, it will be a one promising battle."
Agiel lowered his head and seemed to be pondering something. Then he raised his head and returned to look at Xyn again.
"But there seems to be more than that. Am I right my lord?"
"Hmmm… we'll see. Now then, time to open the teleportation gate, and send in the army."
