A few hours after Azreal and the others left the area the guards from Sow started arriving.

"Captain…."

"What is it?"

The captain was quite impatient if you have something to say then just say it, why beat around the bush?

"We found two bodies up ahead, they're both still alive"

Hearing the report the captain was finding it hard to contain his anger.

"Does that sound like something you need to report to me?"

"Well sir, the bodies...one of them is young master Glemud and Mr.Geld"

It felt like a clap of thunder went off right next to his ears, when captain heard this he was stunned, he knew that Glemud's father had sent him to this area and wherever he went Geld was sure to follow but it was a safe arena the only thing around here was farmer.

The only reason he was even here right now was because it was mandatory to search everywhere even if they believed Azreal and the others might be there.

But now they found Glemud's body, he paid careful attention to the phrasing if Glemud was okay the guard who just reported would've said they found Glemud but instead he said body.

"What are you waiting for lead the way!"

The entirety of Sow was controlled by a council and Glemud's father was the head of that council, his words carried the most weight, so he could be thought of as the Lord of Sow.

It didn't take long to get to the wounded bodies, just a few twist, and turns, and they were there.

When he saw the two bodies he was stunned and the damage that was done wasn't simple, even if they healed them up the scars would remain.

Seeing stuff like this wasn't new, so he didn't have much of a reaction to the wounds just who they were attached to, he couldn't stop himself from wondering who would be so stupid as to beat up Glemud and to this degree.

The captain released a sigh he just knew that somehow he'd receive some blame for this.

"Hurry and get them both back to the city for treatment! The rest of you search the surrounding area"

"Sir on Geld's back…"

When he saw the message his anger grew, even more, this was blatantly stepping on the pride of Sow.

The damage to Glemud and Geld could've been done by anyone that had a grudge against the council and the message on Geld back pretty much confirmed it, the wounds on the bodies were done by claws and now the note was saying signed the human, it had to have something to do with the ones who attacked the arena.

"Find them! Find them now! Spread out inform the other team!"

The entire time he was grinding his teeth in anger, this was his area to search and looked what happened there, even if he explained that it happened before he got here someone would have to give an account and that someone would most definitely be him.

...

Azreal and the others were running through the forest choosing to avoid the main roads, Azreal had gained greater mastery over his new body so he no longer traveled on Azan's back.

The entire time they were traveling Azan had been making jokes about what happened earlier with the farmer and his wife and what the farmer should've or could've done.

"We're going to separate up ahead, Once you're done Xavious will take you to where we'll be so we'll meet up then"

Azreal didn't have much to say other than nodding, he was surprised however by the fact that anyone knew the name of the warbeast in the grey cloak since from the beginning he never spoke to anyone.

Once they separated Azan took the lead.

"Let's go! Awwwooo!"

....

"Sir we found a village up ahead, they said some strangers stayed there yesterday"

The captain said nothing except grunting to the soldier indicating that he should lead the way.

His only chance at coming out of this unscathed was to find the ones who attacked the arena, the chance of it being the human that wrote the message was slim to none but if he could find the bandits and the human and blame it on the human, not only would he get off scotch free he'd probably get promoted.

But who was ever that lucky?

Once they got to the farm, the farmer didn't hold anything back telling them everything he knew about them.

".....oh yea and in the morning they said they was going to a blacksmith nearby that was pretty cheap, they even said it was a woman"

The captain took a moment to think before speaking.

"Tell me again who was in the group that came"

"I just told you!..... there was a rabbit, a bear, a lizard, a wolf and two guys in grey cloaks"

The captain once again went silent was this a coincident or was the heavens really helping him? The bear, the lizards, and the wolf? And the grey cloaks too??

"Find out about every female blacksmith even remotely near here"
