When he woke up in the morning it was already noon and the sun was beaming down on his face.

Getting out of bed the first thing he did was to stumble into the bathroom to relieve himself then take a shower to wake himself up.

he'd already decided to head to the guild just to check if he could earn some money from doing a few missions today before going back into the mountains but before he left the inn he gathered all the trays with food and brought them down to the front desk, leaving right after

while heading over he didn't feel like hurrying, in fact, he felt extremely calm so he couldn't help just slowing down to enjoy his mood as well as the fresh air.

The city was as busy as usual with some form of transaction or people just casually talking was constantly happening, looking further ahead he saw a small gathering of people and more people were making there way over.

'what's going on over there?....'

Curious about what so many people were interested in he walked over there to see a dark-skinned man dressed in fine clothes with all sorts of gold on his body playing with some children and conversing with some adults at the same time, all of them even the children would refer to him as 'the teacher'.

"Who's that?"

Azreal didn't really mean to say it out loud he had thought he said it in his mind so when he got a response he was surprised.

"That's King Adidja Azim"

Looking at the person who answered Azreal didn't recognize him but he recognized Azreal, he was Dustin from the guild.

'So he's Shahiem's father?...'

Looking back at the man again from a different perspective the resemblance was uncanny, aside from the man in front of him looking older than Shahiem and heavily tattooed going all the way up to his neck, he would've thought they were brothers.

"I didn't realize that I said that out loud just now"

Dustin smiled and nodded

"Its fine we are guild brothers after all"

When Dustin said that Azreal turned back to him only to see him holding a badge that was almost the exact same as his own the only difference was that Dustin's own was silver and his was copper.

"Im Dustin"

"Azreal"

After a brief introduction and a handshake, Azreal couldn't stop himself from asking.

"Why would a King leave his palace without any guards isn't he afraid of assassins?"

"If it was any other king probably but this is something completely normal for his majesty, he'd come out into the city and just sit and talk with the people for hours upon hours, offering advice or just listing, that's why you see everyone up there calling him teacher"

Azreal was honestly surprised because compared to the leaders back on earth this guy seemed like a saint but unfortunately, this saint wasn't going give him money.

Nobody noticed it but when the 'Teacher' was sweeping his eyes over the crowd his eyes stopped for a moment when he caught sight of Azreal but only for a second when Azreal was turning around to leave.

"Where are you going?"

Seeing Azreal turning around to leave Dustin couldn't help but ask.

"To the guild I need money"

Walking slightly behind Azreal to show respect to the fact that he thought Azreal's parents were gods while Dustin himself was the child of two Divine Beings, he only luckily stepped into Godhood a few thousand years ago.

Although in terms of power he was far stronger and power was everything here but status was equally as important, with two gods as his parent's personal power didn't matter all that much in that case.

He'd become a bit excited because Azreal said he needed money so that means he was about to go pick out a mission.

"Why don't you team up with us on our mission we still need one more person?"

Hearing this Azreal stopped and turned to look at him

"We? and why would you want me?"

"Yes me and two of my other friends but we still need a fourth to fulfill the requirements and I was there when you joined the guild so why wouldn't I want you?"

While speaking Dustin showed a pleading look but Azreal wasn't fazed in the slightest

"How much will I get?"

Dustin couldn't help but get excited if he's asking how much It obviously meant he's at least a little interested.

"Well for the mission all we have to do is guard a carriage over to Cornwall and we'll each get a hundred gold"

Now Azreal's interest was piqued but only for a moment the more he thought about it the stranger it sounded, he still doesn't completely understand the currency here but paying four hundred gold just to protect a carriage didn't really seem worth it.

Looking at the change in his facial expression it was obvious what he was thinking so Dustin quickly spoke up to clarify

"No No No, it might sound strange but it's completely normal, it's normally just some minister or noble doing something fishy or going to visit his mistress so he can't use his own guards so they normally hire guilds to guard them"

With the clarification from Dustin, his mind was put a bit at ease but he still didn't let go of it completely but it was enough for him to accept to go.

"Alright I'll join your group"

When Azreal accepted Dustin was having a hard time suppressing his joy but he still managed to push it down just enough to prevent himself from jumping for joy.

"Great let's head over to the guild and I'll introduce you to the others"

Walking back to the guild together Dustin tried to start up a conversation with Azreal but it only wound up making it feel awkward, it wasn't that Azreal didn't want to talk but he was still as antisocial as ever so he didn't really have anything to say.

He didn't want Dustin to think he was arrogant or anything like that so he explained to him that he wasn't the talkative type and it made a world of difference because Dustin really was starting to think he was a bit arrogant, so he was rethinking his decision of inviting him to join them because he and the others were like a family and he didn't want anyone around who would look down on his family.

When they go back to the guild Dustin walked over to a man and a woman who were in the corner flirting, seeing Dustin coming over with someone they both went forward to great them.

"Yow Dustin this our other member?"

It was the man who spoke up first he was in casual clothes, a Woden staff with a big gem on his back.

"Yea this is Azreal he's our fourth member"

"It's nice to meet you Azreal, my name is Sadie and this my husband Reyner"

Looking at the woman in front of him was wearing what looked like a pantsuit as well as a giant staff that looks similar to the one the man has on his back but he wasn't looking at that he was staring at her pointy ears.

'an elf?...'

Realizing what he was staring at she just smiled

"This is your first time seeing an elf?"

"Sorry I didn't mean to stare"

"That's okay, you can touch them if you want"

He did want to touch them but he thought it wasn't a really good idea with her husband here plus for some reason he didn't understand he felt repulsed by her but at the same time he felt like he was drawn to her, It was an extremely annoying feeling.
