Even though his main target had disappeared Azreal wasn't discouraged, he kept running until he got to the 'wall'.

What Azreal had failed to notice was that the moment he took the sword out a pale grey mist was being emitted, slowly the mist started to enter his body, going completely unnoticed

Sensing the baleful aura coming from the sword Kakar's face turned serious, especially when he heard the faint wailing.

'What is this?'

Chills kept running down his spine every time one of those wails entered his ears, it sounded like something coming from a creature that was being tormented for all of eternity just begging for the mercy of a quick death.

Using the 'wall' as a springboard Azreal shot out even faster than before, the thought that he would be getting a helper that was probably stronger than himself made him feel like he was a little kid on Christmas.

Just as Azreal was about to slash down he stopped in mid air, looking down on his stomach Kakar's tail was wrapped around him.

"Really, that was your big plan?"

Kakar's eyes were fixed on the sword but Azreal on the other hand was still just as happy as before.

"Hold him"

Kakar's felt his back instantly become drenched in sweat, the five or so souls that were left inside the sword rushed out at Kakar.

Boom!!!

Before they could even fully exit the sword a mountain like pressure enveloped everything, the surrounding seemed to turn blood red, forcing everything before his to stop.

Kakar looked like a skyscraper looking down on them, it looked like there were thousands of beast just like him standing in that blood red mist behind him.

"This skill isn't something that should ever exist in this world"

When Kakar spoke it was like all the beast spoke in unison shaking the very ground beneath his feet.

It was only now that Azreal's joy completely disappeared.

Taking the sword from his hands Kakar inspected it from from top to bottom.

"Look at me"

Azreal forced himself to look up at the giant beast that stood like skyscrapers, sweating enough to fill up several bucks.

"That is not me"

Confused Azreal started looking around but couldn't find Kakar's body anywhere.

"What you see is just your fear amplified"

A realization dawned on Azreal when he heard that, his entire body felt completely relaxed while he looked directly into Kakar's eyes.

The illusions slowly started to fade leaving only Kakar with bloody eyes which slowly returned to normal.

"Don't allow fear to creep into your heart, it'll only lead to your deat…...a faster death, anyways where'd you get this"

Kakar kept twirling the sword around observing it closely.

Azreal didn't answer.

"Well whatever your answer doesn't really matter"

Holding the sword horizontally Kakar exerted a bit of pressure, breaking the sword in two.

When the sword broke Azreal felt like it was his heart that broke just the same when he heard the cracking sound.

Letting out some small whimpers.

"....m...my army…ha….haha…."

Azreal's mind went completely blank, the sword was his second life and Kakar snapped it like toy without batting an eye. As far as Azreal was concerned Kakar practically killed him.

This sword was his trump card, it meant even more to him now that it did in the past, with the absence of Divine Energy everything else was useless but the souls they didn't require Divine Energy so in the new world they had become even more important to him.

While Azreal was wallowing in his sorrow, about five phantom like figures formed around him staring at him viciously this was especially so for Dustin's soul.

The moment Kakar saw that the broken sword was emitting an eerie light as well as the forming of the sillothests, he jumped back a good distance to observe what would happen.

Looking up Azreal was stunned when he saw the spirits but before could react he was engulfed by them.

:~:

Azreal stood in the middle of a white world, there were no clouds nothing only an endless expanse of white.

From out of nowhere a child could be heard crying, looking around Azreal saw a little boy curled up in a ball beside him.

"Mommy, I want my mommy!!"

The little boy kept crying louder and louder until the once quiet world was filled only his crying, even though it was just a child crying for some reason Azreal felt like the crying was even worse than what it was, he felt like he was being squeezed in a vise grip.

Unknowingly tears started welling up in his eyes, touching his cheeks Azreal was surprised.

'Why am I crying?'

His voice echoed across the space blending in with the crying the voice, he wanted to go over and try to calm the child but felt like if he opened his mouth he'd break down and start crying too.

His mind started becoming groggy as he tried to understand what was happening, although it broke his heart he was going to leave the little boy and try to explore this place because for the life of him he couldn't figure out what this was, but deep down he felt like he should know.

The moment Azreal tried to take a step away from the little boy the once white group changed into the field of swords so densely packed that if he wanted to leave he'd have to walk on top of them.

:~:

Kakar stood a good distance away from Azreal's body observing the entire process.

The souls engulfed Azreal in a translucent sphere, the entire arena was filled with an energy of death.

On the body of sphere where five faces that were in complete ecstasy, worlds apart from the face that they showed previously when they just appeared.

Kakar observed everything with big eyes filled with curiosity, no fear could be seen in his eyes only curiosity.

"Who is…...this energy…."

Observing the happenings for a few minutes Kakar took a seat and decided not to intervene, a small smile hung on his lips.

"Illusions…..If he can break it then maybe.."

His eyes mostly observe the face of Dustin, locking his sights he could feel Dustin's true power that had been engulfed by the death aura, he then began to frown again.

"A God?"

Now Kakar was completely surprised looking at Azreal in the sphere.

"This weak willed kid managed to kill a god? Or did someone else do it for him? No that does seem right...he's a god too although his power is beyond unstable….what's going on"

The thoughts running in his mind were incredibly confusing because the impression he'd gotten from Azreal was that he was incredibly weak willed and filled with fear.

As far as he could see Azreal didn't even understand himself, so for him to Advance this far gaining the power of a God in Kakar's eyes was quite surprising.

Although he him had no experience with humans but endless stories were passed down in his clan so he believed he had a extensive knowledge of humans and one thing that was passed down as a fact what that humans had to have an incredibly strong will in order to pass the tribulations.

But now Azreal's existence was challenging all of that so he wanted to see if Azreal's will was really that weak or if it was something else.
