Lanise hovered above the planet that was nearly three times the size of Earth. Despite that, the gravity was an enormous 8g, eight times the gravity of Earth. This was due to the extreme density of the planet abnormally rich in heavy metals.

"Can human life exist on a planet like this?" Lanise asked with her head tilted in confusion.

The Celestials may have stood outside of gravity, but a standard human weighing at least 150 would weigh nearly half a tonne within that gravity. The human body simply couldn't sustain itself under that kind of pressure.

The skeletal and muscular structures would tear under their own weight as they tried to move, and the heart itself would be unable to pump the blood around the body, instead leaving it to pool up in the lower part of the body as blood vessels burst and the brain to very quickly starve of oxygen.

"Apparently so, there are satellites orbiting the planet. They aren't a simple kind as well, but are quite sophisticated," The Celestial in charge of monitoring the planet replied in amazement.

"Nevertheless, these Scalians are invading a planet in the territory President Storme is claiming as his territory, prepare to launch a pre-emptive strike with all energy cannons," Captain Pilar stated with authority.

The Osiris ship rapidly decelerated in subspace before emerging into the surface universe outside the fleet. Its energy vents in the fourth dimension opened and emitted short blue lightning sparks as energy was rapidly taken in by the absorption circuits.

Two main swivelling energy cannons opened up from the side of the ship similar to the Hyperion Ray Cannons on the Kraken, but were only oversized basic energy cannons.

"Automatic targeting active, Captain, all cannons fully charged and prepared to fire."

"Fire!"

All the cannons on the Osiris began to glow before pure white pillars of energy blasted through the black cosmos of space. Two large beams of energy were from the main cannons, while surrounding them were smaller beams from the sub cannons.

The Scalian fleet was a large one of nearly 12,000 ships. There was also a large mothership in the center of the swarm orbiting the planet. The attack from the energy cannons pierced through the entire fleet, emerging out the other side and vanishing into the endless darkness of space.

The mothership was too large and while the initial attack dealt significant damage, leaving large holes through it as all the matter in the beams paths were evaporated into energy, it was not enough to disable the mothership. About twenty smaller warships along the path however were completely ruined, half of them even exploding with massive gravitational anomalies as the dark matter stored inside them reacted with the matter of the ship and gave birth to the cataclysmic chain reaction.

The Scalian warlord aboard the mothership flew into a rage as he flung his four scaled arms about and shouted orders. Shortly afterwards several thousand ships formed a defensive front in front of the mothership, they created a multilayered wall with themselves as meat shields to protect the central ship as they fired back their antimatter weaponry.

Captain Pilar's ears twitched as he saw this formation, looking at the projected display monitor in befuddlement.

"Captain, they are releasing their wardolls, they are flying out by the tens of thousands, soon the number will exceed a hundred thousand units."

"Never mind them, aim all cannons at the heart of the Fleet's concentration and fire again!"

Following the captain's orders, the Osiris' cannons charged up again and release another volley of white energy beams through the Scalian Fleet. They Scalian warships were all clumped together to protect the mothership, however after the white beams of light vanished, it was possible to see directly through the entire fleet.

"Captain, wardoll army is approaching."

"Execute four-dimensional evasive manoeuvres. Set auxiliary cannons to fire back on autotargeting."

"Targeting locked, full control of auxiliary cannons handed over to the system."

The Osiris made wide evasive manoeuvres that seemed physically impossible with its enormous mass. The ship zigzagged through space, darting in and out of subspace as if fired back.

The battle with the Scalian fleet lasted for half a day, the Osiris only suffering a few attacks to its hull due to surprise attacks. The antimatter beams and bombs stripped the outside of the hull, but were incapable of dealing any significant damage.

The Scalian fleet was simply too massive for Captain Pilar and the other crew members to fully eliminate though. The Scalians strangely began to retreat after approximately 12 hours when they have always fought to the last one standing. This time they only lost a mothership, 2,000 warships and 30,000 wardolls.

Once they vanished into the empty nightscape, even the Celestials were feeling weary from the seemingly endless battle. A rough diagnostic of the damage to their ship was that it was only cosmetic, but the was several broken energy lines leaking energy.

Captain Pilar planned on taking the entire subspace ship down to the planet, so they had to shut off all energy lines which were leaking else the escaping energy would start evaporating everything near the ship on the planet, including the atmosphere.

"Why did they retreat?" Captain Pilar mused to himself, not expecting an answer from anyone on the bridge.

"Captain, there are still Scalian forces on the planet's surface, they appear to still be in combat."

"Bring the ship down onto the planet. We will provide aid to the local inhabitants resisting them."

"Understood!"

The human race on this superdense planet called Ptalios were extremely unique. When Lanise stood in front of one, she had to look down because they were only as tall as her shin. Despite that, they had an incredible physiology dense with heavy elements and forming a superdense skeletal structure and highly tensile muscles.

It was the same for nearly all of the flora and fauna on the planet. They were all rich in heavy elements and had supportive structures to support their smaller sizes under the massive gravity.

The tiny humans had very white skin and strange pointed ears which faced down. They constructed an entire civilization out of metal and wood, the buildings designed to have a low center of gravity with powerful and sophisticated structural supports to counter gravity.

The Scalian invaders had been having an incredibly difficult time with this planet. They had wanted to eradicate the life on the planet and had considered it an easy job, so they attacked without doing a proper analysis of the planet.

The gravity on the planet took them by surprise and not a few landing ships crashed into the surface of the planet and were crushed as a result. They rapidly placed more power in their antimatter anti-gravity systems in order to counteract the gravity, but then they were trapped on their ships.

The local humans, the Alfus, didn't use conventional hot weapons due to the heavy local gravity and respectively dense atmosphere. Perhaps it was due to always living under such conditions that they developed a unique Higgs wave for manipulating gravity. The special wave interfered with the Higgs field and altered how mass creates gravity.

Their weapons shot condensed Higgs bullets which were in fact gravitational anomalies, each one capable of tearing a person or vehicle apart. Even a glancing blow from a Higgs bullet could cause severe internal damage from torn muscles, veins or organs, potentially being fatal.

"Do you have a name?" Lanise asked the small Alfus soldier by her feet that she had flown down and landed in front of.

"Huill'e fui qurrest!" The soldier started backing up as he aimed his Higgs rifle at her while retreating and calling into a small intercom on his shoulder.

"Of course, we were so busy removing the Scalians we forgot about building a translator," Lanise sighed and was about to simply grab the tiny human and take him with her when a squadron of Celestial guards flew down and landed around her.

"Miss Tan'paw, please don't rush off on your own," The captain of the squadron bowed in salute and said.

As they were talking, a Scalian landing ship flew overhead and began firing antimatter beams into an Alfus settlement nearby. The soldier backing away from Lanise saw the ship and looked at it in fear, hesitating as he biting his tiny lip hard enough he drew blood. He still mustered up enough courage to face the alien invaders though as he shouted into his intercom and went to rush toward the settlement, but Lanise grabbed him by the cuff and picked him up.

The Alfus soldier was clearly terrified as he kicked about and randomly fired the Higgs rifle behind him at Lanise, but she merely only frown slightly as she moved the main part of her body into subspace, but even then the gravity influencing bullets still buffeted her body and made her feel slightly queasy.

Lanise grabbed the gun and pushed it into subspace, completely destroying it and disarming the soldier.

The Celestial security squadron took positions and began firing their energy spears at the Scalian landing ship, turning it into a pincushion and causing it to fall to the ground before blowing up in a spectacular explosion which wiped half of a large town off the map and all the inhabitants inside of it.

The Alfus soldier's eyes widened at the scene and he started crying at the loss of his people.

"Hmm, compassionate? That's good," Lanise said with a nod, moving the soldier to hold him in her arm.

The small soldier was trapped in between Lanise's arm and stomach, but he froze up as Lanise's breasts sat on top of his head through her clothes. The Alphas soldier was dumbstruck before he started struggling again while shouting unknown profanities.

Lanise just glared down at him with emotionless eyes and stated, "What are you still struggling for, just shut up or I will break your arms and legs and drag you back with me."

Lanise knew the soldier couldn't understand what she was saying, but the threat laced in her melodic voice still carried her intentions across.
