“When do you two have time? We can go hunting in the mountains,” Risfar suggested.
“Fali and I are going to Sacramento in three days. We’ll be there for a few days.”
“Why are you going there?”
“Her father’s birthday.”
“Then what about after you come back?”
“I should be free.”
“Okay, then it’s decided. After Chen comes back, we’ll go hunting.”

“Wow…” Fali’s eyes shone. “What creature’s skull is this?”

She’d seen living ones before. A dead one was nothing.
“How big is it in total?”
“Around ten meters long,” Chen Zhao said. “It should be some crawling creature. We can put it in our basement.”
“Is there a living one?” Fali looked at Chen Zhao with bright eyes. After seeing the dead one, she wanted to see a live one.
Chen Zhao was silent for a bit. “After we move, I’ll show you a legendary creature.”
“Legendary creature? You mean something that appears in myths?” Chen Zhao nodded and Fali clung to him. “What is it?”
“I’m not telling you now. There are less than ten days. You’ll definitely know by then.”
“There are ten more days.”
“It’s soon.”
