Evangeline felt that Chen Zhao didn’t think she was important at all.
“You think this mist can save you?” she yelled. All her arms waved wands at the same time. “Spirits of the wind, listen to my call…”
A large wind started up, blowing the mist apart. Evangeline’s vision cleared again. But when she saw close to 30 strange things of various sizes around Chen Zhao, she felt her knees go weak.
The creatures were all different types. Some were strong and some were weak. The one that caught her attention was the woman in white standing next to Chen Zhao. She looked like a ghost and radiated with a terrifying aura.
“What… What are these things?”
“Things to kill you!” Chen Zhao pointed at Evangeline. “Rip her apart!”
Evangeline pointed her dozen wands at Chen Zhao, casting countless spells at him.

Right then, Jessica started moving. She let out a shrill cry. The shriek seemed to tear apart the air and spread forward. In an instant, those dozen spells were destroyed by the soundwaves.

Chen Zhao sat on the ground, feeling very, very full.
“You guys, line up. Each one gets a demonic crystal.”

It wasn’t a demonic crystal but an angelic crystal. A perfect angelic crystal! It wasn’t only one either. Instead, it was four or five perfect angelic crystals stuck together.
