Letting his black robes Gilet started walking towards the direction where Dean came from "Boy follow me, you will be doing your job today so be alert to what I will tell you now, you must be confuse as to what will be your job in here so listen to what I have to say."
Dean followed closely behind him forcing his body to move as natural as possible, he didn't want to let his employer notice that he is hurting after all in his mind showing weakness to the person who was paying him was like showing your discontent with him.

However not many people have the chance of becoming one, even those who are casters do not have the chance to become one as the primary requirements of becoming an artificer besides being a caster was to have a great affinity to flame.
Not just able to control flames but have an affinity with it, any caster can learn how to use a flame technique if they want to but in order to control them finely enough to let them smelt spiritual materials was something of a different matter.
In order to smelt metal a caster would need to control a flame so fine that he would be able to control its temperature to the most miniscule difference, if a caster is not capable of this feat they are not worthy of becoming an artificer in their lives, this is the reason why an artificer must have an affinity to the flame element.
With an affinity to the flame element they would also be able to feel the slight difference that occurs in the flame. The flame element is wild in nature and must be observe at all times if not something disastrous will happen.
If someone with no affinity to flame element do continue in pursuing the path of artifact forging then they will be stuck at a stage in some point of their life. Getting a stuck at a bottleneck without any way to improve oneself is not something that an individual wants so there are few people that tries do it if they don't have the talent for it.
The other part of forging an artifact was the part where the artificer breathe a life to the artifact itself this was inscribing the "Divine Inscriptions" inside the artifact. An artifact without a divine inscription is nothing but a stronger regular equipment after all.
A divine inscription unlike flame control is something that anyone can learn if they have the comprehension abilities for it, a divine inscription is the heavenly qi forming the veins of the artifact in order for heavenly qi to circulate in it.
An example of this was a sword type divine inscription that can grant an artifact the attribute of a sword by inscribing it in the artifact. If this sword type divine inscription is place on a sword artifact then the sword intent will be more powerful than before.
This is the power of the divine inscription, some even learn divine inscription not only for inscribing them to an artifact but to also use them for a fight as it also holds the qi of the user and it takes a from that will let it have an attack power like the sharp edge of a blade.
This 2 were the corner stone of artifact forging, with the flame smelting the metals and mixing the spiritual materials in it then after creating the base of the artifact the divine inscription can finally be inscribe and the artifact will be completed.
With the artifact forging having so many complicated areas an assistant would usually come and help the artificer and hand out the amount of materials that the artificer asks for.
If the amount is not enough or it's too little the artifact would have parts of it not working properly and would be counted as a failure and if it was too much the artifact would become unstable and will become hard to control resulting for the artifact to go berserk when use.
These reasons resulted in making artificers in taking in a helper around them in order make the burden on them lighter, if they don't have to think about the ingredients they need and just need to control the temperature of the flames then the chances of making an artifact becomes higher than normal.
However even with this the job of an artificer is still not easy, getting the ingredients in order to create the wanted equipment, drawing out the plans on order for the artifact to be suitable for its user and calculating the amount of materials that's needed to be used in the process of forging the artifact was not an easy task for anybody.
But if someone were able to become a successful artificer then they would live in a lavish life even if they are forever stuck in the grandmaster grade of artifact forging, an artifact was something that is high in demand in the whole continent so a grandmaster grade is something that will be hold in value.
