Going down from the second floor/highem, Dean felt the sudden change in the temperature, the heat that making him feel suffocated was now gone and his body was beginning to cool down. He turned around and looked back at the highem, hearing the hammers striking down from up there he recalled the thing that heto said to him before he went down.
"Seems like that guy notice it, but I guess he is right about it, going on like this will not cut it in the future I have to face this head on now or my martial heart will be affected in the future." DEan close his eyes and started to walking towards the "Library" that he saw earlier.
Martial heart is the most important thing when it comes to being a cultivator as it will have an effect on how much you can reach in the future, the more resolute the martial heart is and the purer it is the stronger it will become.
Although the bloodline and physic of the people are important the heart is also important, a strong bloodline cannot improve in pressing circumstances if it doesn't have a strong martial heart to accompany it, the decisiveness of someone is based on how strong their conviction is and for a cultivator decisiveness is important.
In order for them to improve in the future they must first have a goal for themselves and to complete their goal they will need conviction and a strong will power to make their goal and ideals come true, if the heart is getting hindered by complicated emotions the martial heart will waver.
Taking something to compare about it form Dean's original world, a bloodline and great physic can be treated as the body of a high end model car if state of the art model car base is given an engine with a strong driving capabilities or a weak horse power the car will be affected and will not be able to show its true might, not at the current time and not in the future that is if the engine is change or upgraded.
A martial heart is also like this, and Dean's current situation was exactly like this, his body and bloodline is top notch but his engine or his heart is not or at least it still isn't as strong as it should be, he have the goals he want to achieve in the future and that is to get his revenge on his family in this world.
He can obviously do this in the future but not now as he needed to improve his strength higher and until it pass a certain point he wouldn't be able to get what he want. So in order for him to achieve his revenge Dean must make sure his heart is firm and not affected by any residual emotions.
Suppression of emotions was the only thing he was able to do when he learned about the emotions left to him by the former Dean of this world, it's only been a day and he was already being affected like this by those emotions, even his acting was seen through by Heto earlier it is clear that he have to do something about it.
He entered the library and was welcomed by another row of shelves, there were a myriad of books that he can choose from. The library in the Forging Hall was empty and no one was inn there at the moment, the place was clean showing that there was someone who was taking care of them.
The whole library was big, about half the size of the first floor of the purging hall that had hundreds of different materials depending on their elements, seeing it this way the amount of book that stretches to the ceiling of the library were immense.
Without anyone in the library Dean took one book which he had chosen in random the tittle of the book was "Basic Flame Manipulation" and went to one of the table and begun reading the reading the book on his hands.
The book was interesting to the point that got completely sucked in by the content that was inside, it was a simple book of casters that tells how to manipulate the fire element, the reason why he was so drawn to this book was not for the content regarding the flame manipulation itself but the part where it told how to calm the mind and the heart.
He knew of many ways on how to calm his mind and heart but base on his conditions he wouldn't even be able to do it, the book said many things like how he should make his mind connect with his heart through his meridians that connect through it.
But the most attractive thing for him in that book was the part where it said "accept what the mind and the heart entails and all shall be at peace" it was line that was not directed to him but it is something that made him think.
Those words from the book was the thing that drew him in, he placed the book on the table in front of him and went to a corner and sat there cross-legged, he started remembering the events that happened to him since yesterday and the memories that came from the other Dean especially the emotive ones that honed his personality.
The various memories of him playing by his mother was entering his mind just like before, he started feeling the emotions that he was experiencing and what he previously experience from the earth where he got killed by his eldest brother.
The two memories in his mind started playing simultaneously, two different minds begun to resonate their emotions that was not the same was beginning to become one, their hobbies begun to become one same with the others, but when the moment these memories shifted to the part where they were both mistreated in some point of their lives the resonation with their souls and personalities finally perfectly match with one another.
Dean opened his eyes and the clear black eyes he had was now somewhat brownish his stiff facial expressions that he got from faking the smiles he previously had become more relax and his mind was now clear, his chaotic emotions was now one and the same his mind was finally clear and his martial heart was now set to straight.
Dean stood up and grinned from ear to ear, his mind was now clear and the unbearable feeling of uncertainty whether his emotions he was feeling was his or not were all gone now. His mind was one and his emotions too, so those complicated issues that he had was now gone.
"My thoughts and emotion is now… clear." His doubts about himself was now clear, Dean was now completely clear headed.
