He took one more look at the pendant his mother gave before heading out. He walked leisurely and in an unhurried manner, he proceeded down the stairs.
On his way down he noticed that the 5 men group had already left the place the only people left downstairs where the young lady and the old man she was with. Freya was in the kitchen so Dean went in there "Miss Freya, I'm here for the job you have for me."
He called out to Freya as he lift the curtain that leads to the kitchen, upon entering the kitchen of the inn his nose was assailed by the mouth-watering smell of meat being grilled. His mouth started salivating before he knew it and his stomach was also starting to rumble from hunger.
The smell was strong and enticing that he wanted to find that meat and start eating, he just ate a dozen dumpling earlier but now he was already rearing to eat. Not even he notice this point of himself.
His feet started walking on its own following the smell of the meat, he didn't even have to walk that long before he reach the back door of the lotus inn. There he saw Freya grilling meat with a beautiful middle age woman.
He didn't say anything as he watched the juicy meat being grilled on the fire, as his saliva was starting to build up in his mouth the thought of the meats taste was also feeling his mind.

Freya heard someone swallowing from behind her and saw Dean with his clean white clothes staring at the meat being grilled over the fire. She took a piece of bite size meat and said to him "Want some?"
Dean didn't even hesitate and intensely nodded his head before unceremoniously reaching his hand to take the meat. The meat entered his mouth and the moment that it did, the finely salted taste of the meat that was grilled almost to perfection spread inside his mouth.
Swallowing the meat he realized just how unmannered and uncivilized he was, taking the meat with his bare hand and eating it like a brute was something he normally wouldn't do. Despite being hated by the family from his past life he was still raise to become well-mannered and elegant person, they say that it was to avoid him besmirching the reputation of the family.
With the education he took and his willingness to become someone with elegance, he became a gentleman. And at this moment he just took a meat using his bare hand without saying anything and directly gorge it down like some uncivilized person.
