"Next time you personalise our baby, I won't take it lightly with you,come let me help you up the stairs". And before I could protest, he swept me off my feet literally and emotionally. What type of man accepts another man's child wholeheartedly?, is it because of what he stands to gain?, will he treat my baby the way Susan treated me. The disturbing thoughts, coupled with his scent made me dizzy.
" Can I trust you? " I asked foolishly.
"I know it might be difficult but try to". That rich deep voice gave me assurance, and I surprisingly believed.
" I'd never touch you,don't be afraid about that". Huh?, a deep shade of pink crept up to my face, I haven't even thought of that.
"You look adorable, shall I sing you a lullaby?". He gently placed me down on the bed, Wait, adorable?, lullaby?
" I'm not 5 years old, OK?", I glowered at him. This is becoming embarrassing.
"Sleep tight". I said,expecting him to leave after tucking me in, but he slid in next to me and held me in his arms
" Please let me see you sleep, I promise I'll leave the moment you're asleep". I wanted to protest but his arms felt warm and comforting, so I swallowed up the words that was at the tip of my tongue and enjoyed the comfort of his arms.

"Your mother is over the moon...". Susan's malicious face smiled at me
".... What should I call you....Virgin Mary or Queen Elisabeth?...". Kelvin's face also came closer
" You're nothing but a whore....". Lizzy's dark gaze looked murderous
"You're a disgrace to the Cokers...". Dads glare sent daggers my way
"I thought I knew you...", Becky's face was seen this time.
And everything kept echoing and flashing at a very high speed then all of a sudden, a gunshot was heard..... then darkness and....

" BETRAYAL!!!!!! ". I woke up screaming, panting like an Kenyan that just won a Marathon race, startling Henry that was already asleep.
" Are you OK?", he asked and stood up to the bedside to get be a glass of water. It wasn't until I felt the cold glass connected with my lips that I snapped of my daze. I gulped down the whole glass of water, I was still trembling and sweating. He collected the glass from me and placed it on the bedside table, then pulled me into his arms.
"it's all just a nightmare, you'll be fine,I'm here for you,we're here for you, don't panic....". he continued to comfort me with his words as he patted my hair continuously. I didn't know when exhaustion took over but my sleep was dreamless. I woke up to intense heat and brightness and blanked out for 60 seconds before remembering where I was. I searched around the room but Mr. Gorgeous was nowhere in sight. Sighing at my stupidity for expecting him to be at home at 11am in the morning. I got up from bed and strolled into the bathroom. After my morning routine, I brought out my diary and shared my nightmare experience, I shuddered in terror as I remembered those terrifying faces. I was almost done writing when someone knocked.
" Come in".I immediately closed my book and his it under my pillow. I was expecting to see Henry but I saw two beautiful female servants walking through the door instead. one was with a floral gown and the other was jewelry sets.
"Good morning madam, Master asked us to dress you up for your wedding".
