I froze, I thought it was grandfather and i immediately straightened and tried to get out of Mr. Gorgeous' hold but the dick wouldn't let me go. He bent down to take my discarded jacket, I hurriedly snatched it from him and wore of but didn't dare turn around. My back was to the entrance. Mr. Gorgeous grunted unhappily and I saw a frown on his face.
"What is it Joey?". He asked indifferently and made no attempt in letting go of me. Oh so it was the bitch bestie, I still wasn't calm. There's no telling what she would do and I sincerely hoped she doesn't recognise me.
" You were taking to long..."
"You can go, I'm busy". He cut her off immediately, why was he being so rude with her?. I could feel her eyes sending daggers at me, I struggled one last time to get out of his hold but he was much more stronger than me.
" Stay still darling, you won't want to show off your wild nature to our interruption here, do you?". He winked and smiled down at me, my face grew red with embarrassment and rage. Just how shameless is this man?.
"Henn, you know we have to go now right?, you have a dinner date with the richest publisher in the country, and that slut would know if she lives with you I....". Mr. Gorgeous' face turned black instantly.
" What did you say?", his low voice was more like a growl. Even I flinched when he interrupted her.
"You know Henn, I'm the only one that can tell you the truth. That bitch only wants your money and a name for that her bastard child". This woman sure had some balls, if it were me, I wouldn't dare utter a word after that growl. Mr. Gorgeous' grip of me tightened at every word she said, I couldn't bear the look on his face and I closed my eyes silently, the bitch was partially right. But I never wanted his money.
I sobbed silently and Mr. Gorgeous slowly wiped off my tears.
" What, why are you staring at me like that?, the hoe is even trying to look pitiful to gain your sympathy. very low class....."
"You've said enough, now leave". He was literally squeezing me and I whimpered in pain, he slowly eased his hold of me and released me. I was still too shaken to move.
" You're telling me to leave for telling you the truth?, this woman has hexed you Henn, get a grip of yourself. She's not your Chloe, she's just a random low class bitch that got lucky". With every word, she moved closer and when she was done with her reprimands, she was just behind me.
"Hey bitch, get out of here now". She pushed me and I would have fallen but for the table I held on to, before I could gain balance I heard a deafening shriek.

paaaaaaaah!. Another raw slap landed of her face, hence another shriek.
"Haaaaaaaaaaah!". The impact was solid this time as blood trickled down her nose and smeared her perfect make-up. Her eyes glistened with tears and she looked at Mr. Gorgeous with shock written all over her face.
" Henn, you hit me for that...that thing?". Her voice was shaking Mr. Gorgeous' glare was unwavering. In all the commotions, my Papa came in and was surprised by the whole scenario.
"Yes and I'll do it again if you call her names or touch a strand of her hair, I'll do worse. I thought I knew you, but I was mistaking. She actually warned me about you but I chose to ignore her. She's my wife and the mother of my kid Joey, get that straight. And if you can't get that into your dumb head then you can as well go to hell. Now get out of here before I call the security to throw you out. Don't ever call me again, our friendship is over". She cried, I cried and Mr. Gorgeous had tears in his eyes too. I cried because for the first time in what seemed like a lifetime, somebody stood up for me. " You're ending our friendship of over 12 years for a woman you knew only one month ago?". Wait they've been friends for that long?
"Yes, because I've been befriending a snake for the past 12 years and even if it's still early I realised that I'm in love with the woman I met recently, so what would you do about it". Wait, what?. Did I ear the last part correctly?, he's in love with..... with me?, maybe he just wanted to make the point sink in. There's no way he could fall in love with me when most of our time together was spent arguing or with other people.
" Please include making out". My demon whispered, I was beginning to go dizzy with all that was going on, I needed a drink.
"I knew it, she hexed you Henn listen to me....". The security men barged in, maybe grandpa had called them. Even with the presence of two huge men in the room, Joey was still not intimidated.
" Henn, come back to your senses. You need me more than I need you" She pleaded with Mr. Gorgeous as the men advanced towards her.
"Don't you dare touch me, I could make you both lose your jobs in just a phone call". She glowered at them.
" Well, you don't need to make a call, their employer is right here and I doubt that she'll listen to you" . Papa chimed in and gestured towards me. Things were beginning to get blurry.
Joey marched in my direction but Mr. Gorgeous stopped her and handed her to the hesitant security guards.
"What are you waiting for, throw her out or you'll lose your jobs". Mr. Gorgeous roared and startled almost everybody.
" You won the first time bitch, prepare... ".I didn't hear the rest of what she screamed as I slipped out of consciousness.
