As the moon left the sky, as the birds began to sing. Chris woke up as early as 5:00am, this was the first time he woke up this early on his own. He woke with a smile on his face as he went to the bathroom. He stood and took a gaze at his face in the mirror. He took a bath. He dressed calmly looking at his face in the mirror as he dressed to impress. By the time he finished it was already 6:30, as he came downstairs, his sister noticed his face was full of happiness as she greeted him.
Hey bro good morning, how was your night; Beatrix asked.
Morning sis, am fine, all fine, everything is fine; he replied as he opened the door and left the house in a rush.
"Hmm, is he ok?"; Beatrix thought in her mind.

As he arrived the office, he went to talk to Mr. Wong(his father's secretary).
Morning Mr. Wong; Chris greeted the oldman.
Morning young master, what can i do for you; Mr. Wong replied.
I just want to inform you that i won't be able to come to the office for some days, i have some things i need to take care of, so i want you to take care of all my office works; Chris requested.
Ok no problem sir, but i hope its nothing serious?; Mr. Wong asked looking concerned.
No, not at all. Just some personal work; Chris answered as he smiled.
Chris then went to his office and sat on his swivel chair, he started to review some document but something skipped his mind, he stopped reading the documents and started thinking:
"I hope what am about to do is the right decision, Oh God help me. I hope i don't regret it".
He then continued his work, he finished everything only to notice that its already 7pm. He left his office and went to see Sophie.

As he arrived at the hospital and he went to Sophie's room and met the doctor checking on her.
Oh evening Chris; Sophie's mother greeted.
Evening ma'am, can i talk to you for a second; he replied as he smiled.
Ok sure, anything the matter?; she asked looking confused.
No just wanted to talk in private; Chris replied
Ok;she replied as she straightened herself and they both walked out
Ok i wanna tell you that from now i will always be here to help you take care of Sophie until she heal from this emotional trauma, i kept myself believing it was my fault, so i want to make it up to her. Please don't reject; Chris said with a calm voice as he looked down to the floor.
I don't know what to say except thank you, but why are you doing this?; Mrs. john asked calmly
Because i feel its right, and i know its the only thing that will make me forgive myself; Chris replied as he looked at Mrs. John straight in the eyes.
Thank you; said Mrs. John as she tapped Chris's shoulder and they both entered the room again.
Chris stayed at the hospital until 10pm before he left to go home. As he was driving home, he kept thinking what he will do to help her get well soon. He thought for for a long time, and finally he got an idea.
I think i should just ask Beatrix for help; he murmured to himself and smiled.

As he got home, he wasted no time as he went straight to his room, took a bath and came to the living area where his sister was watching a movie. He sat beside her but her mind was trapped by the movie, she didn't even notice him until he tapped her shoulder slightly, she jumped off the chair out of fright and he burst into laughter like he was a child.
You almost gave me a heart attack; Beatrix said as she was panting, trying to calm down.
Am sorry alright, your mind was kidnapped by the movie, so i had to rescue you; Chris replied still laughing.
Whatever; she murmured frowning her face.
Sorry ok,i will never startle you again, i promise, i need your help with something, please; Chris asked as he held his ears as a sign of apology.
Am listening; Beatrix answered switching off the TV.
Ok, let's say your friend was emotional traumatized, how can you help her forget the situation?; Chris asked with a sweet taste to his voice.
Hmm, that's an odd question, why did you ask?; Beatrix asked looking curious.
Its nothing just wondering. Mrs. Detective; Chris replied scratching his head and smiled.
Ok then its simple, just by making her feel am always there to protect her no matter what, make her feel safe, make her feel she is not alone in this; Beatrix answered softly.

He kissed Beatrix on her forehead and said "you are the best sis ever" and went to his room. She stood there and still wondered why he asked such odd question. "Just forget it, why do i worry too much";she thought, and turned on the TV to resume watching her movie.
