Cultivation Realms & Stages

*Probably won't put all the Realms and Stages up to the very end, as that would spoil it even for people at current raws (can I even call where I've published to, the current raws? Its not being translated so It kind of feels off...)

Pre-Mortal Realm: Cultivators don't consider you one of them until you pass this "Realm;" though it isn't even considered a realm at all...

Body Refinement Stage: Temper the body into a vessel capable of handling energy cultivators get from formal cultivation.

*Body Cultivation equivalent — Flesh Realm: Tempers the outer most layer of skin, allowing cultivators to use energy though their body

Mortal Realm: Sets up the foundation to reach Immortality cultivation.

Meridian Connecting Stage: Open and connect meridians to make gathering and refining energy faster. Minimum number meridians one can have to breakthrough out of the stage is 72, max is 108. The more meridians a cultivator has unlocked, the better their potential/foundation.

Qi Collecting Stage: Upon breaking through to this stage, the Dantian and Dantian space are unlocked. Goal of this stage is to fill that space up with mortal realm qi/energy. (energy and qi are literally the same thing, so I think I'll be using them interchangeably...)

Palace Foundation Stage: After filling up the Dantian space with energy, next cultivators have to set up a (literally) solid foundation for their Dao Palace.

Palace Creation Stage: Cultivators use energy and Dao insights to create a Dao Palace which gives them the ability to translate Dao insights onto their body without death, or similar outcomes.

Core Formation Stage: After creating the Dao Palace, the last part of the foundation building cultivators do in the Mortal Realm is creating a Core within their Dao Palace. The Core is an unbelievably compact and dense ball of constantly refining energy. Having one in the Dao Palace allows cultivators access to more compact energy; exponentially boosting combat prowess.

*Body Cultivation Equivalent — Muscle Realm: Body Refiners temper their muscles to the point where they can seamlessly use energy far deeper than just the skin layer. Also unlocks Regeneration, which automatically heals cultivators at a mild rate.

Spirit Realm: After setting up the foundation for reaching Immortality, Cultivators fuse the body, energy, and soul components of their being together to allow for Dantian expansion and greater comprehension abilities.

Soul Condensing Stage: Cultivators condense their soul by feeding it energy until their souls are the same size as their corporeal bodies.

Soul Fusion Stage: Cultivators go into seclusion to tackle three perilous trials of fusing the soul with the body.

Rebirth Stage: Cultivators repeatedly challenge the heavens after they pass the Soul Fusion Stage, to undergo three tribulations. The Soul Synchronization Tribulation applies a heavenly pressure on the tribulee to test how well they fused their soul to their body in the previous stage. The Dao Illusion Tribulation shows the tribulee a list of True and False Dao insights based on the Daos they study. The 3-9 Thunder Tribulation is the last test the heavens have for cultivators that have come this far. They will be subject to three bolts of lightning that completely ignore defense and forcefully fuse the cultivator's already fused soul and body with their Dantian (or energy component).

*Body Cultivation equivalent — Bone Realm: Spirit Realm Cultivators use energy to penetrate through their bones and allow for even more ridiculous amounts of energy to course through their bodies. Regeneration from the Muscle Realm has its effects augmented to also heal up damaged bones at a hastened pace. And Bone Realm Cultivators unlock Shapeshifting, an ability that allows cultivators to manipulate the structure of their bones and flesh.

Dao Cultivation (Very Confusing?)

*Understanding the Dao is a core part of traversing through the Realms and Stages of cultivation; especially at the higher Realms. I'll be splitting this up into Dao Accomplishment and Dao Degree just to make this all the more confusing!

Dao Contact (Dao Accomplishment): After getting a basic, most general, understanding about one aspect of one Dao, a cultivator will be able to influence the environment and gain the Dao Degree, Dao Aspect, in that Dao. Usually attained by Core Formation level cultivators

Dao Infusion (Dao Accomplishment): Once a Cultivators is able to "infuse" their Daos into other mediums, be they techniques or joint operations with weapons, they can be considered to have this Dao Accomplishment as well as the Dao Degree, Minor Dao Accomplishment, for that Dao. Usually attained by Spirit Realm Cultivators.

Dao Domain (Dao Accomplishment): A thorough enough understanding of one Dao will allow a cultivator the ability to summon a Domain within which they have unprecedented control over the energies of their chosen Domain. This is the first Dao Accomplishment that has two Dao Degrees.

The Dao Degree, Lesser Dao Mastery, is given to cultivators with incomplete Dao Domains and it is a requirement that a cultivator must have at least one Dao at this level to enter the Saint Realm. The Dao Degree, Greater Dao Accomplishment, is given to cultivators with complete Dao Domains and it is a requirement that a cultivator must have at least one Dao at this level to enter the Sage Realm.

Dao Mastery (Dao Accomplishment): Once a Dao has been mastered, they will be at this level. To Challenge the Immortal Tribulation and ascend to the Immortal Plane, cultivators will need to have at least one Dao at this level. *This has a Dao Degree as well, but we aren't there yet :P
