If this were before, Yi De would have yelled out by now and would be overwhelmed by embarrassment. However, she seemed calm now, extraordinarily calm.
“Umm, Yi De?” I called out. For a moment I wondered if she had gotten used to such ‘events’ but immediately shot myself down. There was no way that someone could get used to such things. The reason why she is behaving like this is because she has something on her mind, “What’s the matter?”
My guess is that this ‘something’ has to do with the last battle.
“My lord, I disappointed you.” She said as she shifted her gaze between my face and the ground before settling on the ground, “I really am useless.”
“Why is Yi De saying this? I asked, feeling a little flabbergasted as I went to sit beside her, “I thought your performance was very good in the city battle.”
Just asking on your own initiative to join the battle is already good enough.

My concern instantly shifted to Yuan Zhi in the next room and I got up with the intention of seeing what had happened.
