My life in this world is just so wonderful that I feel it might be a dream. I fear that I might wake up from this paradise, I don't want to see that worn out ceiling of my apartment after waking up from this wonderful place.
Sometimes, I think about why I was brought to this world and why I was reborn as a first son of an Emperor.
Is it because I was lucky? Or is it because the god is pitying me? No matter what the reason is, I really am grateful to the god for sending me here.
However, I have this suspicion regarding the god that send me to this world.
But that doesn't matter anymore, I have not cared about the reason nor do I need to know.
Being alive and feeling happy is everything for me. Even if the world fall into chaos, as long as me and my family is doing well, then let it become a ruin for all I care.
This peaceful and happy second chance in life is really a blessing for me. However, I don't know if it was fate, destiny, god or karma. But they decide to toy with my life, it was as though they want me to feel pain and despair, again…

My eyes were wide with surprise and I could not hide the excitement on my expression. I keep looking straight into mother's eyes without blinking, my body is ready to jump up and down due to the shock and happiness.
The heaven has finally heard my prayer!! I have been waiting for this for a long time!
How many times have I keep praying for this time to come faster. With this, I will be able to use magic too, with how strong father and mother is, my magic should not be anything simple too!!
Seeing me so excited, mother let out a giggle and is looking at me with warm eyes.
"This is preposterous, the Empress is letting the prince awaken his magic before his birthday!"
"Please reconsider, your majesty…"
"Right, please reconsider again, Empress Theresa!"
"The prince, while having an abundant amount of Mana, his body is not yet ready, please have some patience, your majesty!"
A sudden shout and worried voice of the people around us made me let out a low yelp of surprise.
They were looking at me with a worried and yet angry expression on their face. Their expression is really nerve wrecking for a social outcast like me.
Their shout and pleading is becoming more apparent as the other started to voice out their opinion too.
This is beyond me, I want to run away from this place as soon as possible!
I could only look down not daring to raise my head due to the pressure and past trauma.
The memory of me being looked at with a contempt and doubtful expression started to surface in my mind.
My body started trembling and my complexion turned pale white, my breathing is getting faster as I keep my head down.
A sudden feeling of rage and hate filled my heart like a tidal wave.
I tried to calm down by gripping my fist so hard that it probably starting to bleed.
But flower like fragrant attacked my nose as I was hugged into a warm embrace.
I opened my eyes in surprise and I could see mother's cold and indifferent expression. She were looking at the crowd in silent, but her silent gaze is like a gun with a silencer, the crowd shout started to die down and the place is as quiet as a graveyard once again…
No one dared to let out a single sound, even the kids are silent and looking scared while trying to find their parents.
"Are you guys done? Do you really think that this Empress doesn't know about that minor thing?! Hmph! Preposterous!? I dare say that you guys are the one who is preposterous!"
Mother's calm and cold voice resounded in this quiet and silent room.
"This Empress matter is not something you should meddle with. And you should know your place, you bunch of ingr –"

His carefree and loose expression is just so damn pleasing to the eyes as of this moment! Even in this awkward and heavy atmosphere, he is still as merry as ever.

I can see that the others are showing a complicated expression as they keep glancing at father and my direction.
