Its the same with many other countries, when many people in the government is corrupt, the national security tend to be more "flexible". Specially in a place like Bali, its a heavenly destination, 2.8 million tourist a year, mostly from Australia, China and India. Most come to have "fun", this could be translate as, alcohol and drugs. When there is a demand, then the supplier will come. There are a few post as a trade front all over Bali, but this is the one Jerry in charge in.
Its a small hotels next to a beach, the place is quiet far away from the busy street for the obvious reason. 5 floor high and only around 40 rooms, there's really not much customer beside the "special" one. In the top room, Jerry was currently sitting in front of a table and is on a phone, there are a few people seen standing in front of him.
Jerry speaking on the phone "I understand, but i think the current market will be fine to reach this year target, and it will be much safer too, recently the police are harder to bribe as well"
Jerry continue, "Yes i understand, i will try my best".. The phone stops.
Jerry have a stiff looks on his face, there are 4 men in front of him, one of them said "what did the big boss said?"
"The boss really serious in expanding the market,.."
Jerry is a the leader of this post, He has been a smuggler for almost 20 years, most of his crew also the same, they are recruited since as young as 10 years old. Mostly taken from the streets, or from a very poor family. 20 years ago, he start as a simple delivery boy, walking around the street of Bali, dodging police, and the other gang. After many years Jerry manage to step up the food chain, he made many huge contribution and turn his gang into one of the biggest in Bali, naturally he become one of the most respected leader in the gang.
But recently he has been in a dilemma, first, his sister was sent to work overseas a few months ago and he hasn't heard from her the last few weeks. The second is the way the gang recently turning, this few years the gang turn mainly into selling drugs, which is fine for him at first, but recently the boss has been forcing him to up the market by selling it into the school kids. Jerry know he is not a saint but this has push into the boundaries of his moral compass. The adults can screw them self for killing each other with their own money, but the kids are innocent.
Most of his crew has been following him as a leader, and they can understand him and relate, many of them are also the victims from irresponsible adult. As the saying, the man character can relate from his father. but as almost all his men has no father, than they relate to him as their leader.
suddenly Jerry hears a huge commotion down the stairs. He lead his men down to check. in the hotel lobby there is a guy standing in the middle wearing a Bali scary mask. Weird person walking into his smuggling base, it only mean trouble.
There are 20 of his man surround the weird mask guy. Jerry's actually quiet calm, He sent one of his man to check the hotel outside parameters, if there are any other trouble.
"What do you want?"
"there you are, you are Jerry right? i want you and your men to work for me"
This masked guy is Alex, he bought the mask on the market on the way here. He thought its not yet the time for his face to be known by many of the Bali locals.
Jerry respond "working for a funny weird guy?, not a chance"
Jerry make a simple look and node, one of his men suddenly move forward to grab Alex shoulder, he tried to push him down but it feel so heavy it didn't budge at all. Alex make a simple move grab the guy hand, pull him and punch him in the stomach. The guy suddenly passed out.
Jerry and the gang finally alarmed, this is not a simple guy. Jerry make another gesture 4 of them move to surround Alex. They send a few punches and kicks but Alex easily dodge them. A few second later, one punch each all fall down passed out.
Jerry then yell "ALL ATTACK" his men already saw what Alex can do, so they take and pull out all sort of weapons; knife, hatchets, and steel pipes. 10 plus people fiercely attacking Alex.
Alex currently is a high stage Mortal Realm human, his speed and strength are 3 times of a professional athletes. He can run 100 meters in about 5-6 second. if he punch with a full strength he can easily broke people bones. But his body are not invincible, those knife and hatchets could still hurt him. Time to get serious, although his opponent are not amateurs, Alex have 10 years of fighting experience, so he can easily predict their move, their blade could not touch him. Alex use this time to measure and practice his body strength. 1 minute, 2 minutes still no one can touch him, suddenly there is a figure jump fast at him with a dagger. He is almost as fast as Alex, it's Jerry.

"Ok, you got my full attention, we definitely can't beat you, whatever you need we can talk about it, just don't hurt my men"

"Who are you? your with the police? ...CIA?"
Alex open his mask and say "just a normal Indonesian citizen like you"

"Its not possible, don't you know i am part of the Black Snake Gang? the gang has hundreds of member all around Bali, we might make most of our money from drugs, but we occasionally also smuggle weapon, i see you are very strong, but in our main base you will be facing guns and rifle"

"There are no way i will help you, although we are group of thug and smugglers. i know some of the men pretty well, i will not help you hurt them"
