Dream Stars Second Round Venue (August 2035)

By the time they reached the concert venue, it was almost over. Thankfully, though there were a good fifteen minutes to spare. Huan dropped her off directly at the side entrance, where it wouldn't take her long to climb the stairs.

"Be good," Huan said as she got off his bike.

Yori rolled her eyes at his comment, "I'm not a child."

Huan laughed, "It always feels like I'm dealing with a child though."

That smile of his ought to be a crime seriously. Other than that stupid grin, most girls would easily fall for a handsome guy like Huan. Perhaps it was because Yori didn't understand the concept of love, or maybe she understood. This man is always smiling, but he carries heavy burdens and secrets.

He's the complete opposite of Lila. Back when they were younger, Lila always wore a cold expression on her face to mask her feelings and the burden she carried. However, the man named Tsueno Huan is the complete opposite. He always wears a smile.

Huan reached over and patted her hair, "Be good and take care of Lila. I know you two formed your unit now. But there's more to that promise than creating a group right?"

Yori looked down and sighed, "You really are a stalker."

Huan laughed, "Now. Now don't be rude to your lifesaver."

Now he brings that up.

"You finally came."

An angry looking Jae-hee greeted Siena. She laughed, "Did you think I'd surrender?"

"That's not even funny as a joke."

"I'm joking. Besides, I've made my mind up with defeating Terashima Kyoko and being someone other than a supporting role for Lila. With my own hands, I also want to shape the idol world." Yori laughed.

But she supposes even that dream is connected to Lila.

"It's bizarre that I'm thinking these things now. Judging from how irresponsible I've been regarding being an idol. I became an idol to help support Lila, and when I realized that she didn't need me anymore, I backed down."

"But you backed down because you had another dream didn't you?"

Yori nodded, as she played with the hem of her skirt.

"Yes. I backed down knowing that there were still other things I wanted to do. But once I accomplished them, I'd return to her side stronger than ever."

"Lila, I really did have a lot of fun with you. Even if it was for a short while, it was a lot of fun. But the way I am right now, I still have no right to stand beside your side. I had no intention at all to return to being an idol and honestly, the first time I sang again I made sure it was a dark and cool song to put everyone off, and yet that didn't happen. The fans I had before all came back and I gained even more fans. People are thinking so much about me. That's amazing," Yori trailed off and closed her eyes. As she recalled the encouragement she received.

"Everyone thinks so hard about the girl they don't know well. It made me think about my position in this world. When I thought about it that way, I realized that ' Kogami Yori' as an idol still has a lot to go through. ' The me back then, as amazing as I was to all of you was still naive and had yet to experience anything. That's why I left in search of my answer."

----

She left on her journey and took a separate path from Lila. To find Kogami Yori the idol.

Yori continued, "I did all sorts of training you know? For my resturant word cup, from entering the international game tournament. The things I merely considered as hobbies before, turned and expanded into a huge dream. Even though I abruptly joined the idol world again. I learned from Lila, no I learned from all of you. What it meant to have a bigger dream; that's the reason why I was able to enjoy my journey."

Yori learned from all of them. The 'genius' and secretly hard working Lila. With their determination to catch up to. When she first performed with Lila, she watched as many other people became motivated.

Yori watched them during those times. They all struggled, cries and got angry; and yet at the end of the day, their efforts weren't in vain.

Hard work and effort will inevitably produce results. But the time frame when they do so will differ per person. Some will show progress far faster than others, and although it may be frustrating to watch that. Such feelings will dispel once they see the other person's stage.

Because the same feelings they've shared during their extended training will come out, when she watched others trying their best to surpass her, Yori realized that as an idol she was still naive and inexperienced. But it's different now, even if there is still some traces of naivety and experience, Yori understands the current emotions in her heart.

"I see, they say experiences shape a person."

"It was the same for you wasn't it Jae-hee? You didn't start out brilliantly from the beginning; rather I do recall watching your first stage. It was awful. A complete mess of a performance, her voice was everywhere and her dancing... "

It was a far shot from how she is now. In Jae-hee stages now you can't even see traces of such mistakes; which just goes to show, how much she practiced. It's difficult to see improvements in a genius performance. But with someone who started from scratch, to become a top idol - you can see the change.

The same goes for Terashima Lila. The girl isn't a genius, contrary to what people may say. Yori can remember a time where her voice as good as it was, just sounded like she was screaming.

"So I have to ask you Jae-hee, what sparked your interest towards Lila? Because of what your boss said?

Jae-hee shook her head, "Haruka said he saw an idol, a star in Lila."

"That's deep."

"Right? If Haruka hadn't pushed so strongly for it before. I'm sure nobody would have recognized her talent. It's not something people just see. Once Haruka said that I paid close attention to Terashima Lila and realized he was right. The whole time she was singing, something drew me to her."

Oh, now that Jae-hee mentions it. Even though she was casually passing by, she too seemed to be drawn in the performance. "Keeping people's gazes on yourself and making them want to support you..."

"The qualities of a star, but it's not just Lila who has this."

Yori's eyes widened, and she looked down hesitantly, "But.." her sentence fell short when they hear the sound of rushing footsteps. Yori looked over and spotted bright blue hair; the girl's face covered in sweat. It seemed like she ran all the way here.

"Lila?"

"Yori, join me as a member of Moonlight Entertainment."
