Lila didn't think that Haruka would leave her alone. A deep sigh passed her lips, 'Have Austin Kiryu walk you back,' he says. What was all that about being jealous? But seeing how frantic his expression was, Lila knew it must be about something important. She may be his girlfriend, but there is a limit on what she can interfere in.

Why is he acting so calm about it now? Gee, sometimes it is tough to understand the man named Karashima Haruka.

"I wasn't trying to, here's your drink. Sorry, they only had small bottles left," Kiryu said as he passed her the bottle. Lila immediately noticed something about the bottle of water, though. There are flowers on the design, is he being considerate? Lila smiled at the thought, 'he hasn't changed.'
"So, you're okay kissing in public now?"
Her whole face reddened at his words.
Oh no, he saw.
Kiryu sighed, "Well, that shocked me. But I already received a similar shock when you kissed Ichinose in middle school."

"But those hikes are something."
Lila placed her hand over her neck, 'oh no, she forgot about those.'
Kitty had wrapped his scarf around her neck, "So this is why he left you alone with me. How sneaky."
"S—sorry, Haruka can be petty, and childish."
So that's why he was kissing her neck earlier.
Honestly, Lila felt a bit awkward around Kiryu. Though she was speaking to him normally, she can't help but recall what happened recently. The feeling of his lips on hers, the sensation of that kiss. The kiss that completely caught her of guard, at least it was supposed to. Okay, so maybe she noticed how unusually close he was getting to her. He kept helping her whenever she lost her balance throughout the day, like wrapping his arms around her waist and grabbing hold of her hand. But of course he had to, she wasn't exactly in the best condition to be running around.
But even then Lila wasn't prepared for the kiss he gave her. He kissed her for a good 30 minutes - anybody could have seen them. They were in the middle of the main street, and yet nobody saw or at least she saw no flashing cameras or hear any footsteps. The fact that Haruka doesn't know means there's been no news report. Lila can't help but wonder, why did he kiss her? It's not like Kiryu to lose control of himself.
Her thoughts broke off when she hears Kiryu inch closer, "Aren't you acting weird around me?"
Lila shook her head, " I am not acting weird," but that was a lie. Honestly, it's not like her feelings for Haruka have suddenly gone poof and vanished. But just remembering what happened the last time they were alone together was making her very nervous.
"Is this about the kiss?"
Lila looked down at her feet.
"Well, I didn't think you'd be so self-conscious about it."
"I--I am ---n-," of course she doesn't get a chance to finish her sentence since she accidentally bit her lip.
Kiryu was silent for a moment before he nodded, "Well, I'll give the friends thing a try. But if it doesn't work out, I'll warn you in advance."
"Um, okay," because really, what could she say to that? He was practically admitting that the idea he proposed a little less than three days ago was something he actually couldn't keep. Then again, Lila too felt like it wasn't possible. She's only been back for a short while, but she was already confronting the main thing she wanted to avoid, "Kiryu, I didn't know you were a perverted idiot."
"Unlike your boyfriend, I have self-control."
"Haruka has control."
"Doesn't look like that to me."
Lila knew she couldn't say anything to that. Whatever control Haruka had vanished entirely now. But she isn't going to tell Kiryu that. Not only would it hurt him, Lila knew that there are more chances of Kiryu getting angry.
"So, yeah, about the kiss. I'm sorry for using my tongue again."
"Idiot, can you please stop talking about it?" Lila exclaimed. This time around Kiryu was making fun of her. If he can see how nervous it makes her, then this is just plain teasing.

But Kiryu only continues to grin and describes in detail about the thirty-minute kiss or rather make-out session they had three days ago. He seems very pleased with himself. Did he forget that she is somebody else's girlfriend now? Lila cursed inside her head, what is she doing thinking about it for? Don't fall for Kiryu's trap; he's doing it on purpose.
Okay, new plan. Don't stand so close to him. It seems like just getting close to him is dangerous too. Before Lila could panic even more though, she notices somebody on the road across. It was Linda; the girl was staggering out of what looked like an alleyway. She frowned, the girl looked like she was in trouble. From her battered clothes appearance and flushed face, Lila knew something was wrong.
"Somebody, you know?"
Lila knew she had no reason to help Linda after everything. But seeing somebody, she knew wasted and defenseless; her feet were already halfway across the street. She bent down and extended her hand out, "Linda?"
The girl looked up; her face immediately darkened as she slapped her hand away, "Go away."
"No."
Linda glared at her, "Are you happy now? The boss said he found somebody better for the plan! That stupid innocent girl."
Is she talking about Aizawa Mei?
"Just because she sings better, happens to be Haruka's type - they are throwing me aside. And all my opportunities, everything I worked for is suddenly hers."
While Lila felt terrible that the girl's opportunities were being snatched away, the words that stood out to her were, 'Haruka's type?' Lila thought. Clean-cut and innocent? But Lila always thought she fit Haruka's type criteria better.
Linda must have understood what she thought since she laughed, "But of course this ideal only came about because of you, everything's because of you in the end. I don't understand why though, why do they all end up falling for you? It's not like you are anybody special," Linda exclaimed.

"I'm sorry about that," Lila apologized.
After Linda left all hysterically, she turned back to Kiryu who had silently followed after her. Kiryu shook his head, "It's fine, you have your fair share of problems. That girl likes Karashima?"
"I have too many rivals."
She really does.
Kiryu laughed, "Story of my life."

Things with her boyfriend Karashima Haruka, developed in a manner like her inner battle with her thoughts the other day.
The amount of sex they had has increased, she didn't think it was possible. But with Haruka anything is possible. Like having sex in this cramped bathroom.
Hearing a heap sound, "Crap," Haruka cursed. The sound came from her phone, of course. Between the two of them, she was the only one who remembered to keep their phone on.

Lila prepared herself for these situations now. Since they arrived here, Haruka's self-control has become nonexistent.

Even though it's embarrassing, Lila knew she couldn't refuse him, "This looks good on you, is it new?"

"It's just embarrassing and not exactly normal," Lila said. Making out and kissing in public aside, having sex? In the bathroom at work? Lately, it feels like her morals are slipping, and Haruka isn't making it any easier for her.
"Look we've spoken about this too, it's normal for me."

Haruka gently kissed her temple, "Don't be, you'll get used to things," or so he's been telling her since they got here. But Lila is slowly starting to realize why she didn't see this side of him when they were in London. They were always together. But these days their schedules require them to be apart.
