As Lila thought this, she noted that Kiryu's hands had stopped what they were doing.

"Can you tell me, Lila? Your relationship with Karashima?"

Ah? But, if she does that he will get hurt. She may be clueless about most things. However, Lila knew that talking about her current relationship would hurt Kiryu. Kiryu, however, shook his head, seeing the serious expression on his face. Lila nodded and told him everything from the beginning.

Of course, that meant exposing about her brothers' involvement with Haruka and Yumeko, to what she learned recently in Ireland. Even though Lila knew she ought to keep those things a secret. Lila had a feeling that Kiryu was asking because he was worried about Haruka too.

"Karashima, so it was like that, huh? Did you think to get him to meet with Huan-san?"

Lila blinked in confusion, from what she said that's what stood out to him? The thing that happened with her brother? Lila thought the thing with the 'girlfriend' was more heartbreaking because the girl died.

"Well," Lila trailed off, "Not really. Brother appeared before Haruka in disguise." She did casually bring up about the two meetings that one time, her brother showed up at the apartment. However, that conversation disappeared from her mind because of the things her brother revealed to her. Ah, now that they are talking about this, "Did you know that Haruka was my first love?"

Kiryu paused but nodded, "Yeah, of course, I did."

So that's why he always pulled that face whenever she spoke about it being fate and stuff. Kiryu knew about Haruka and felt awkward about it.

"Do you think something will change if I get those two to meet each other?"

"I think so, I mean it may just be a far fetched theory. But from what you've told me there, while those other incidences brought about mental scars. The one that severely impacted him is the incidence with Huan-san. Just when he found something to believe in, things collapsed," Kiryu paused, "Back then though, I guess you could have saved him. From what you said anyway, you're the reason why he decided to turn over a new leaf and everything. But you weren't in a good state too."

"If I accepted Haruka's hand then, what would have become of us?" Lila said.

Kiryu reached over and patted her hair, "That didn't happen, so there is no need for you to think of it," there isn't? But she can't help it, especially when she thinks of how much pain Haruka had to endure over these years. Kiryu continued, "We may have broken up Lila, but I'll always treasure those memories you gave me, and I'll work on this friends thing," he said before he resumed on working on her hair.

Lila looked at him; she really looked. For sure, the feelings she has for this person haven't truly vanished yet. Lila understood that what she felt for this person was truly special. It can't just disappear like that. But for now, 'for now this is okay,' this is the start of something new, and the end of something she thought would last forever. But that doesn't mean they wasted time; she learned so much over the years from being with him. It's because of Kiryu that she got this far, the reason why she could love and treasure people.

The person who gave her such important feelings, she won't discard them that easily, but she does not want to let go of the hand she is holding now. It will be difficult from now on, but Lila knew she had to manage. If she broke down, then how could she help those important to her?

....
Lila's apartment

Lila stared cautiously at the door; she saw the lights from the outside on so Lila knew he was home. But for some reason, she was remaining cautious. Maybe he's with Aizawa-san again, or even Sophia. She shook her head, Haruka wouldn't bring random girls to her apartment here in Star Town. Though maybe they followed after him and he didn't push them away.

"What are you doing?" a voice from behind her said.

"Eeeep!" Lila exclaimed and crouched down.

"Ari?"

Hearing that name, Lila looked up and spotted her boyfriend. He was carrying a bag of groceries in his hands, "You were shopping?"

"Yeah, I figured I would make dinner for a change."

"Alone?" Lila said questioningly, but Haruka didn't seem to notice her suspicious gaze.

Haruka nodded, "More or less, I didn't see the need to be chauffeured around when the grocery store is only a few roads down," so, he was alone. A relieved sigh passed her lips, which Haruka caught, "Was I supposed to be with someone?" Sensing his tone, Lila knew that it suddenly clicked to him.

Wah, she can't act jealous now. Besides, Haruka is here now, isn't he? If he was staying out all night, then that's when she could act all suspicious and question him. However, he isn't, right now, he is here with her. He is by her side, Lila nodded, "Ah-huh, me."

Haruka smiled, "Let's go in the morning, I think I forgot to buy eggs, and I want your omelets."

Lila beamed happily, "En," she quickly stood up, and the two of them made their way inside the house.

She peered at him as they walked down the hallway. It's still strange though that he went grocery shopping. He's never done that before, at least not when they were in London, anyway. No, even when they were in Light Town, he did no such thing.

"I forgot something."

"Ah? What is it, should we ask," Lila's sentence fell short when his lips are on hers.

"--nngh, unngh unngh,"

"My greeting," Haruka said as he drew back, after kissing her for a few minutes.

Lila's cheeks are flushed red. G-greeting? That's a greeting now? That's not fair! Foul play, that's foul play. However, Haruka grabbed hold of her hand and gently kissed it, "Thanks."

This is even more unfair, these days Haruka thanks her whenever they kiss or even after a heavy make-out session. If he looks at her with such a gentle gaze and smile, how is she supposed to get angry at him? Then again, isn't it strange how she's always getting caught up in his pace? Lila followed him down to the kitchen, and he settled the bag down on the table before pulling out various items.

Lila peered over with a curious look in her eyes, "What are you making?"

"Tempura, Okonomiyaki, Yakitori," Haruka continued to list various food names. With such a wide selection, it was undoubtedly going to be an odd dinner. But wait, her eyes widened when some fancy names popped up.

"Wahhu, why are you making such a feast?"

Haruka laughed, "Want to do something nice and have a dinner date at home."

Dinner date, date?!! Lila immediately covered her red stained cheeks. They're having a date at home, a date initiated by Haruka without her having to do anything? Is he doing this for her? The thought made her feel incredibly happy and embarrassed. This is the first time Haruka is doing something like this for her. She doesn't know what the occasion is, but rather than dwell on it; she should accept what's happening.

Lila shyly tugged on his sleeves, "Do you need me to do anything?"

"Hm? Nope, it's fine; I'll be your exclusive chef for tonight."

Lila knows he said it in a normal manner, but everything that escapes Haruka's lips always ends up sounding so very sensual. In the first place, it doesn't help that such a good-looking man is saying those words. And Haruka really is handsome; she isn't biased or anything. He could probably give those top tier supermodels a run for their money. Lila shook her head, 'I'm becoming weird again,' Lila thought to herself. She wonders when did she become a woman who would analyze her boyfriend in such detail? Since she started to date Haruka, she really has become strange. It's not like his appearance is why she asked him out.

She asked him out, huh? It still felt strange despite all the chasing that Haruka did that in the end; she's the one who asked him out. But then again, during that situation, anything could have happened. That's why she had to get the first words out. Whenever Lila thought back to it, she felt it was strange. Even if Harukas emotions were a mess then, why did he accept her at that moment?

Haruka laughed, "Are you just going to stare today?"

When Haruka said he would exclusively cook for her, Lila perched herself on the counter and continued her staring, "Well, I've got nothing else to do," she murmured. She could go upstairs and dress up, but even then Haruka would most likely take a while. Besides, getting dressed up doesn't take long, and she need not wear makeup or anything for home dates.

"Seems like it, eh? So, what's the story behind your hair?"

Oh, shoot. Lila almost forgot about that. How does she tell him?
