After she pondered on those thoughts for a while, Lila drifted to sleep.
When she woke up, Lila could spot Haruka's figure emerging from the entrance. Lila rubbed her sleepy eyes and looked at the clock. She only dozed off for fifteen minutes, but it felt like she slept for a very long time.
Just as Haruka crossed the street and was about to go over, Lila noticed that an odd man approached him. This bizarre man covered his face with a mask and wore strange clothing. His hair was long and pale. Even though it was a guy, judging from how close he was to Haruka. Lila was cautious. She rolled her window open, and sure enough, she overheard a strange conversation.
"Then, how will you repay me?"
"Hmm, do you have enough money?" Haruka asked, "If that's what you want, I'm not carrying cash at the moment."
"I have all the money in the world right now, what I want is something different,"
Lila sank to her seat then and rolled her window back, so it was shut, her brain was trying to process what she just heard there. Lila heard from her Mother that such dealings weren't unusual in the underground world. But this is the first time she's heard such a thing before; she didn't know what to think about it.

Haruka returned to the car, "Hey, sorry for making you wait long there was a hold-up. People were ordering out today," he explained as he placed some bags in the backseat.
Lila only nodded as she continued to watch him as he returned to his seat. Nothing happened between him and that strange man from before, right? Nothing intimate? Lila scanned him up and down, which didn't go unnoticed by Haruka.
Haruka smiled, "Overheard? My cute stalker?"
Lila blushed, "I was just curious."
"It's only normal, I guess," Haruka said, "Is it that strange?"
"Well, no. It's just," she stuttered, "It's a first for me," Lila admitted.
"It was just a joke, Lila."
"But," Lila recalled the look in the man's eyes and his hand that reached out towards Haruka, "He was serious wasn't he?" the reason why she rolled the window back, was because she saw the man try to reach Haruka.
"That may be so," Haruka nodded in agreement, "But I have you right?"
Lila looked down, 'but that doesn't stop you from letting other girls kiss you,' Lila thought. Though she knew that Haruka never initiated the kiss between him and other girls, he doesn't exactly stop it. Whenever she asked him why he would always tell her that it's just a kiss. Seeing how he doesn't think much of it, Lila decided to push the concern to the back of her mind.
At least for now anyway, Lila didn't want to make too much of a fuss since they would have a date for the first time in a long time. She doesn't want to ruin tonight, 'Save the concerns for another day,' Lila mentally noted in her head.
"Smart girl," Haruka patronized. "If he was into women, I'm sure he would have offered to eat you out," Lila cringed at his sudden coldness. How can he say that so easily? About another man being interested like this, "Whether this is an age thing or just our different lifestyles," Haruka paused before he nodded, and continued, "..but it is only natural for you to be uncomfortable around these kinds of people."
It's natural? Really? Lila looked towards him with a questioning look in her eyes; she doesn't think it's reasonable to be uncomfortable about a particular group of people without getting to know them. From what she's seen, Lila thinks they are bad. But appearances can be deceiving; they probably aren't all bad people right?
"But the thing is," Haruka continued, "Even if you don't care much for these people. You can't stop yourself from associating with them. Your an elite hanyou Princess, the dirty side of the world - you can't escape it forever. If you want people to take you more seriously, you'll have to get used to things."
"How?" Lila asked.
"Through experience," he replied. Lila tilted her head in confusion and Haruka mutters something about her being adorable, before saying, "Well, you have me for a reason. If you want to learn about the dangers of the world and everything twisted and corrupted about it, just look at me."
Lila frowned at his response, "But, I don't think your that way."
Haruka laughed, "Only you would still say that, despite knowing what kind of crowd I am involved in."
The crowd Haruka is involved in. Since they started dating, Lila hasn't seen it much. After all, no sooner had they went out did they have to go to London, and over there they were both busy. When Lila realized that Haruka would get roped into something dangerous, she quickly gave Soichiro a call and asked him to make the arrangements. Soichiro worked swiftly, and he released Haruka from his companies clutches. But that deal was only applicable to London, now that they are back once again Haruka will have to follow orders.
If he hasn't started doing so already, Lila didn't know. Whenever they are apart from each other, she feels so very uneasy. It always feels like Haruka is caught up in some kind of mess.
"Don't worry, even if I am caught up in this type of society, I won't be asking you for sexual favors."
Lila rolled her eyes at that comment, 'You don't have to! Were dating,' Lila mentally cursed. Sometimes when he says things like this though, Lila can't help but recall the times before they went out with each other. Haruka was very patient with her, wasn't he? Despite that, though, there were times where Lila feared him. It felt like he would snap like he did that time she got hurt, and forcibly take her without permission. But, despite that hidden fear. Was he testing her? Lila didn't know whether she should find out or just ignore his close presence. Lila shrunk back in her seat and moved towards the window. But before she could move any further, Haruka clasped his hand on hers. Thump. Thump.

Lila didn't understand what he was trying to do, and for a moment, she panicked. It's not like this is the first time they've gotten close with each other. Since they went out, they've done so many things. But, right at this moment, Lila felt that there was something different about him.
