Haruka didn't respond to her, and she adds, "Is there something you don't want her to see?" Lila paused in mid-sentence as she suddenly recalled something.
The things Haruka doesn't want her to see are usually to do with Aizawa Mei. Could it be that Aizawa is here? If so, he doesn't have to block her vision. One of his fingers twitched against her cheek. It seems like she hit the mark there. Lila sighed, how helpless. Goodness, he needs to learn how to explain things. Still, even if she can't figure it out now. Lila knew that she had to do something about this.
Guess it's time to consult Soichiro properly, normally she would evade speaking with him. But, 'He's helpful in these situations,' Lila thought.
Lila passed the time by thinking of her next course of action, but even then she grew incredibly impatient, "Is it time yet?"
"Not yet," Haruka trailed off, "If your inpatient though, we could do something else to make the time pass by," Haruka casually said. But Lila immediately understood what he meant, causing her to cease her complaints. Haruka laughed, "You don't want to, huh?" his tone suddenly seemed serious.
"You know that's not it," Lila mumbles. It's not that she doesn't want to, she really does want to be held in his arms. However... she doesn't want him to see it, those markings, " ... you know if we remain like this for long. It'll be bad for my heart," Lila managed to say. It wasn't an utter lie; for the last few minutes, she had been struggling to remain calm.
Haruka chuckles, "Relax a bit. You don't have to wait long, at most another 40 minutes. "
40 minutes? Her hearts already beating so fast. There's no way she can last that long. Okay, think of something Lila, something that isn't Haruka. That thought of hers failed in just a matter of seconds. That's impossible, these days - no since she started her journey, she thinks about Haruka every day. "How beautiful! It's a meteor shower," Lila exclaimed happily.
"Glad to see you're so well informed. But really I'm surprised, one this big doesn't come so often," Haruka said, as he wrapped his scarf around them both. Oh, it's warm, her cheeks turned red slightly as their shoulders brushed against each other.
'Romantic,' Lila thought to herself. She thought Haruka was joking when he said that he would take her out on a romantic date — but being with him like this, being so close with him. Lila felt content and happy. This is what a date should be, so he does know how to do this properly. Then, Lila wondered why it took him so long to do something like this for her?
She shook the thought out of her head, don't dwell on it too much. What is important now is this moment with him, "I've always wanted to know where those rocks are going? Are they returning to their home? " Lila asked.
Haruka seemed amused at her reply, and he chuckled, "Heh, guess it's expected of you to say something like that," he then explains to her how the rocks burn up and dissolve in the air.
"Haruka, you only show your knowledgeable side at these times."
"Well, I can't have people figuring out my secret."
Lila laughed. This really is nice though, spending time with him like this and watching the stars. Quite some time has passed since they last did anything like an ordinary couple. Then again, the word ordinary doesn't suit the two of them at all, Lila leaned into his hold, "So this is your surprise for me? Take me to a dark forest to show me a meteor shower?"
"Well, there's also dinner which was supposed to be first. But then I saw the time," he gently caressed her cheeks, "I'm glad you like it, I've been wanting to do something that makes you happy, instead of just focusing on what I want."
Lila knew what he was referring to, the thing that makes Haruka happiest is sex, "Did it occur to you that's not just limited to you?"
A confused look appeared on his face, "You like having sex with me?"
Why is he even asking her something so ridiculous for? Did he really think she would just get caught up in the flow and let him touch her if she didn't like it? Wait a minute, since this is him that's completely possible. A frustrated look appeared on her face as a deep sigh passed her lips, 'Why is her boyfriend so stupid at times?' Lila thought. For somebody who is called the demon judge, is handsome, talented at everything he does and smart- why can't he see through things like this?
