- Club Forbidden - A few hours later

After she finished up with work, Kasumi didn't waste any time finding Kiryu in the club. Her performance cut short since the filming crew experienced some problems. The timing seemed unusual to her, but her worry for Kiryu was far greater, so she just left it to the rest of the crew. When she stepped into the 'club' Kasumi was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't a regular club, but one for the elite circle. She immediately noticed how different it was from the outside, but simply thought it was a disguise.

A relieved sigh passed her lips when she had to show her ID through the door, 'Well at least they actually have checks,' most clubs and bars do. But, this one investigated thoroughly before letting her in. Instead of seeing flushed limbs, naked bodies and loud music - Kasumi is greeted by the sight of a well-furnished club. Several couches in the room, with a glass table in the center. A small curtain hung between the couches.

'Looks more like a host club,' females were serving the males who sat down on the couches. Well, she supposes a place like this is better than the places Kiryu used to go to. Kasumi slipped through the crowd and eventually found the person she was searching for. He was laying down on a couch at the back. Thankfully Kasumi didn't see any serving girls loitering around him.

"Kiryu," she called out.

Kiryu looked up at her and nodded.

"What on earth are you doing loitering around here for? Weren't you supposed to meet Lila tonight and explain things to her?" Kasumi exclaimed.

"I was, but then she canceled. She said she had a date."

Karashima Haruka again.

A deep sigh passed Kasumi's lips, "Honestly Kiryu, this is partly your fault. You should have just told her what was going on from the very beginning," but then again isn't she equally at fault for not telling Lila despite having the means to contact her.

Kiryu reached over and flicked her forehead, "Don't worry about it too much. I do appreciate all your help Kasumi, but this is between Lila and me," though he said it kindly. Kasumi felt ashamed of herself.

What is she doing acting so nosy for? There is a fine line between caring and overstepping her boundaries. It seems like when it comes to this matter; it's like what Wataru and her Brother said. Kiryu knows what he is doing. He does intend to get Lila back. 'But, it doesn't look like it to her,' the reason why Kasumi is acting brash like this and overstepping her boundaries is simply because she can't see it. Can't see Kiryu taking action on this matter. The longer he delays it, the more Lila will fall in love with Karashima Haruka.

Kasumi knew her best friend very well, if it's Lila, it's a matter of time. Even if she remains detached in the beginning, the longer she spends with that person, the more she begins to care. It shouldn't have surprised her too much that Lila and Karashima Haruka started dating.

She knew Lila that well, so she understood better than anybody. If somebody like Karashima Haruka comes along, showing how dedicated he is for her. Lila would struggle to push him away.

Lila always managed to reject other guys before, but that's because she had been around to advise her. The friends Lila made over there probably encouraged her to accept Karashima's feelings.

"Did you see at the front?"

"That's Karashima Haruka, right?"

"Then the woman with him is Terashima Lila?"

Kasumi's eyes widened, Lila is here? While she doesn't approve of Karashima taking Lila to a place like this for a date. If it's like this, then, her gaze fell on Kiryu - he was no longer laying down on the couch and had sat up, "Motivated now?"

"Guess I can steal her away for a few minutes."

….

Kiryu, what happened to successfully stealing her away? Why is Karashima Haruka here too?!!

"Um," Lila spoke up. Her soft voice sounded like music to this deafening silence, "Thank you for inviting us; we couldn't find a good table."

"It's no problem."

This is so awkward, what on earth is Kiryu thinking? Then again, she supposes Lila wouldn't leave Karashima's side to be alone with Kiryu. It's not like the information Kiryu is going to tell Lila is something that they need to hide.

Lila had a troubled expression on her face; it looked like the girl wanted to say something to Kiryu when Karashima whispered in her ear. Lila's cheeks turned red, and she shyly nodded, "Okay, Haruka."

The sight irritated her more than she thought it would. 'Calm down Kasumi, look how calm Kiryu is,' Kiryu should be the one upset and not her. But right now Kasumi was struggling to keep calm. Her thoughts broke off when she hears the crowd say, 'Rosalia-sama,' she only knew one person with that name, and Kasumi didn't want to see her at all.

Miyazawa? She looked over and sure enough in the center of the crowd was a woman with short black hair, wearing a strapless black dress. Kasumi immediately understood the situation. So this is why Kiryu came here, right?

Karashima frowned upon seeing the woman, but he must have gotten the message too. Kasumi watched as he pulled Lila into his arms, "You, don't leave my side, okay?"

"Ah, um okay," Lila shyly responded.

Watching this scene sorta brothers her. Why is her best friend acting like a shy girl with this man of all people? Kasumi deeply sighed; she really ought to get a grip. Kiryu is the one who should be hurt by this sight, and not her. No matter how many times she repeated this, her anger did not diminish. Kasumi could not help it; she watched Lila and Kiryu go through so much before they became a couple.

Kasumi glared at Karashima; it's because of this man that things are different now. She heard from Yori about everything that went on in London, and frankly speaking, it made her feel nauseous. Her best friend who loves music so much actually frequently neglected practice, skipped work - and for what? To be with this type of man who would come to this place? While this bar was for high members of the elite, it's still a bar, so many vixen women and men come here.

"Hey, you,"

"What?" Kasumi snapped.

"If I call Mikami here, you're not going to freak out are you?"

Kasumi felt her heart speed up at the mention of Mikami's name. Why does Karashima have to call him here, anyway? She shook her head, don't let it get to her. If she shows it bothers her, then that would be showing weakness.

"Go ahead."

It surprised Kasumi actually, how fast Mikami came here. Or rather, if she recalled correctly. Hasn't it always been this way? Whenever Karashima would call Mikami, he would appear in a flash. Kasumi saw him right before the others did; she always had this unique ability to detect his presence before anybody else could. Mikami wore a white suit with a midnight blue tie, Kasumi recognized it immediately and kept her head down.

'Why does he still have that old thing? Rather, why is he wearing it now?' For a split moment, Kasumi thought Karashima revealed the fact that she was here tonight.

"Senpai, you really have a bad habit of calling me when I'm in the middle of something," Mikami muttered, as he ran his hand through his blue locks. It looked like he ran all the way here, beads of sweat trickled down his face.

"Tough luck, I can't leave Lila be. So you'll snoop around in my place."

Mikami deeply sighed, "Right, of course. I haven't done this in a while myself, so if I make a blunder cover for me."

"Not covering either, this one would get mad at me."

"Seriously, why do--," it was then Mikami's gaze fell on her. He seemed taken back but then reached over for the spare wine glass on the table, Karashima poured him a drink, "You owe me big time for this senpai."

"Yeah, I know."

Without even so much of a greeting, Kasumi watched as Mikami walked away. She saw him approach a group of women, and her glare towards Karashima deepened. So this was the reason why this man called Mikami over, to snoop around for information using such a despicable method like this. Why does Lila like this kind of guy?

"Haruka, is Mikami-kun going to be okay? He looks sick," Lila brought up.

"He's fine, just the usual withdrawal symptoms."

Withdrawal symptoms? Because he hasn't been drinking blood? That stupid fool, moron. What is he doing holding himself back for?

Kiryu who had remained silence for the last few minutes spoke up, "Since you two are both here now, I guess I'll just tell you," Kiryu said, she watched his gaze fall on Miyazawa Rosalia who stood in the center of a large group, "I want to bring this place down tonight."

Wait, wait, wait, what?!! Don't tell her that he was planning on bringing Lila here to help him with a job? That's how he intends to explain the reason why he broke up with her? Damn, she should have known. This guy becomes an utter moron whenever it comes to anything Lila related.

Lila, who had been buried in Karashima's arms, peeked over, "I'll find out the truth?"

"Yeah."

'There is no way Lila will agree to this,' Kasumi thought. While Lila is equally as reckless as Kiryu, this is just plain stupid.

"Okay."

Wait, wait, wait, wait, what? No matter how many times she repeated wait in her head. There was no doubt what Lila just said. This is the perfect time for the boyfriend to step up, right? Kasumi turned to Karashima hopefully, but the man was nuzzling his face in Lila's neck.

Lila laughed, "Um, you'll be with me anyway, so I'll be safe?"

"Don't end that as a question, of course, I'll be sticking to you."

'How stupid,' Kasumi thought as she watched the two. So stupid, and yet why does Lila look so happy?
