After he kissed her, once again, Lila didn't speak awhile to regain her breath. Sometimes she wondered if she was really a simple person. Whenever Haruka would kiss her, even if it's in an inappropriate location, Lila could not say no to him. Whenever he complimented her, she feels so happy, and it helps motivate her further. Whenever he comes home, she's overjoyed. The last one is simply because of her unusual insecurity. Unlike Haruka, her insecurity isn't apparent, because she is used to dealing with it by now.

At the beginning of her relationship with Kiryu, many people kept sending her death threats left and right. So it's not like she isn't used to this.

"This is a close enough position to kiss, you know?" To prove his point, Haruka traces her lips with his thumb.

"Dummy, don't destroy the moment," but then again they did just have a heavy make-out session?

"But, you like kissing, don't you Lila?"

She does, she likes it. Being held and touched by Haruka. He's so silly, so foolish; and yet she really can't imagine a life without him anymore, "We just kissed dummy, hold back."

Haruka looked at her with a defeated expression, and she rolled her eyes. This person is a kissing monster, how many times does he want to kiss her until he is satisfied?

"I love you, Lila."

Eh?

Haruka scratches his cheek, "My bad, was that too straight forward? I hear that it loses meaning if not said appropriately."

Has Haruka been consulting with Kiryu? That's something she mentioned to Kiryu before when they were dating.

Lila understands right away from his wording, her cheeks colored a rosy red, as she pulled away slightly and averted her gaze. How embarrassing. Has he been that worried that he hasn't been 'romantic' enough in their relationship? Sure during the start of their relationship, all he would do was pounce on her whenever they see each other. But it's not like they shared no sweet moments as lovers do. Though even those sweet moments indeed end up rather intimate. Lila has always treasured her moments with him.

His gentle caress and his bright and vibrant smiles. Lila can remember that time during middle school. The summer when she first met him, it was when she was only 13 years old, a mere child; and yet she found herself drawn to this person. She found herself drawn and not being able to leave his side — the desire to always stay close by him, to touch him.

To think she is with that very same person now, "Say, Haruka?"

"Mmm?"

"I don't dislike being affectionate with you. Although it's true people would see our relationship as being a purely physical one. You've also given me many happy and enjoyable moments. Before we started dating, and in the midst of it," Lila trailed off. "That's why you don't have to be considerate like this if it makes you uncomfortable."

It's because so many years passed before they were reunited properly, that Haruka has a difficult time expressing his feelings of love. Lila continued, "Though I am flattered that you'd go through all the trouble of consulting Kiryu... I don't want to put you in an uncomfortable position, where…"

Haruka sighed, "So that's how you see all of this. Well, I guess it is unusual of me to do stuff like this. But if you talk to Jae-hee or even Misaki. I'm sure they'd vouch that I'm not a complete predator of a guy."

"Haruka?"

Haruka pulled her into his arms, her head resting on his chest as he spoke, "Lila, I do this stuff not because I'm forced or feel obliged to do so. Sure I spoke with Austin Kiryu on a few matters like understanding a girl's heart, and I'll tell you now that conversation is something I'll never speak about you in detail. Because, how on earth do I describe two men talking about love in all seriousness? It gives me the creeps thinking about it again."

"Awkward?" she repeated, confused.

"Yeah, very awkward. But I didn't leave halfway and listened. I only consulted with Austin Kiryu not to get ideas but to confirm and sort out my thoughts."

"Is there something that was bothering you? About me?"

"Rather, I wanted to confirm it properly from a professional standpoint. After hearing it, I understood already as long as I show my love for you. It doesn't matter how I do it," Haruka explained. Ah! So that's why lately he.. is bolder and sweeter? Haruka continues, "Stuff like love isn't our strong suit, and you mentioned it in your conversation with your friends before he left too, didn't you?"

Lila nodded.

"We spoke about it briefly too and concluded that as long as we're together, we could overcome it. Even now I believe that to be the case but even if we're apart, I'm sure we will still come to the same conclusion, regarding our feelings and love in general. You're the only girl I've ever treasured and shown this much affection to Lila, and you'll be the last one. But I'll understand if my actions make you feel like it's out of obligation."

Her cheeks grew hot at his words. Lila felt very embarrassed. She didn't think such honest sounding things would leave Haruka's mouth like this.

Haruka sighed, "Too weird?"

Lila shook her head, "No, I'm just surprised. I didn't know Haruka was a romantic guy...Um," Lila looked up from her head buried in his chest. "Then, can Haruka tell what's different about me now?"

"I don't want to give myself too much credit. But did you actually go back to the studio to dress up prettily?" Haruka mused jokingly, not realizing the truth behind his words. Or maybe he knew.

Lila closer in reply, her violet orbs bright at his response. "That's exactly right. Haruka you're amazing, how did you know?"

Haruka seemed surprised at her words, "Huh, what really?"

"Dummy. Don't tell me you were only guessing."

"Perhaps," Haruka trailed off when he saw her pouty cheeks before a light chuckle escaped his lips, Lila shifted closer in reply, leaning against his shoulder. "I'm kidding Lila. Thank you for dressing up for me."

Lila nodded happily, "En! Your welcome. But does Haruka find this dress pretty on me?"

"Your beautiful Lila and your mine, aren't you?"

"Yes, I'm all Haruka's."

"Then, make sure you sing only for me tonight." Her violet orbs went wide at his words, "Can you do that for me, Lila?"

And here Lila thought that he would try to get all affectionate with her again. As she thought, the only person she loves now is Karashima Haruka. This word can only one associated with him whether it's yesterday, today or tomorrow. The only one she wants to spend countless days together with is Karashima Haruka.

"Perhaps. After all, I've had other guys on my mind recently," she said in a half-serious tone. Although it's not exactly wrong. In the end, even thoughts of other men leave quickly.

Haruka reached over and flicked her forehead, "Brat."

"Ouch, violence." For a split second, Lila saw a look of concern on his features, and she bursts out laughing. He seemed worried there.

Haruka lets out a defeated sigh, "Lila, you're driving me crazy."

Lila laughed, "Aha, sorry. But I just wanted to see how you'd react." He said nothing and Lila over to intertwine their fingers with each other.

Her hands never looked stronger wrapped around his.

So Lila wondered at her hitching pulse when Haruka unwrapped his fist and curled his long fingers through the gaps between hers. There was no doubt Haruka could be dangerous but not once had she ever felt even remotely unsafe being alone with him.

But this was different. This silence was nothing short of dangerous. The way Haruka looked at her didn't help at all. And the rough calluses of his index finger at her knuckle weren't helping. However, right now, Lila felt ease.

"Haruka, I love you! But I'll warn you if you leave me waiting for long. I'll become old and no longer be pretty," Lila exclaimed. But then again, she doubts Haruka fell for her because of her appearance. There are people out there who are far prettier than her after all.

"Then, does that mean you're willing to wait for me that long?"

"I'll wait forever, that's why I'll sing my heart out dedicated to you while you're still here. Listen carefully okay?" Lila said.

"Mmm, but don't say it like this. I intend to take you with me, my dear wife."

"Aha, true."

Even if it takes 10, fifty years, Haruka, she already belongs only to you, her songs and her heart. Everything is all yours. Tonight's concert, even more so than her solo lives she will make it clear to everyone. Even if it takes so long, nobody else will be able to occupy her heart.

"Guess I'll have to since your so clumsy shall we hold hands until then?"

"En! We can cuddle too."

Harukas lips curve to a smile, and Lila knew that he must like the suggestion, "Heh, of course."

She is so very happy, does Haruka know how much happiness he brings her? Can she convey the extent of her feelings before things go wrong? If she can, nothing will bring her more joy than letting him know.

...

Stage

She already has no problems Ameno-senpai, in answering the question you asked her that day. The reason she sings may not just be for Haruka alone, and there are other factors such as conveying feelings of happiness to the audience.

But right now she wants everyone to hear it.

Her deep feelings of love. Feelings that even if they were to change, it would only change in terms of it growing stronger. She's sure that even fifty years from now on, the one who she will wake up in the arms to is Karashima Haruka.
